Hey babes, it's Paris Hilton. So I was checking my points balance in the Hilton Honors app the other day, and yeah, I've got about a billion, which feels excessive, even for me. Just kidding, you can never have too many Hilton Honors points. And I wanna do something iconic this summer, so I'm giving away all my Paris points. Just find somewhere you've always wanted to stay, then go to my socials or Hilton's and tell me about it. Just make sure you're a Hilton Honors member, and I might be sending you Paris points, because when you want points that make your summer even hotter, it matters where you stay.

i i got a i got a confession to make oh what'd you do y'all welcome back something i've never done while fishing and that's hard to believe right because you've been you've been with me a lot and you've seen me do a lot give us a let us see if we can guess it so give us a go ahead well guess i mean if you want to guess yeah you gotta hug your hand no you fell out i have

00:01:29 - 00:01:33 | Speaker 2:

definitely done that now the following out of the boat he does that every time you got a big old

00:01:33 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 1:

catfish no i've caught big catfish before you lost a rod and reel no i've done that god knows i've done that you hit a stump knock the motor off the boat no i'm telling you this one is gonna be hard to believe this one is gonna you're gonna say were you in the water when it happen you're gonna say do what you was fishing i was going fishing okay he was going fish that

00:02:00 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 2:

means something happened with the truck and trailer and the boat got off the trailer yep

00:02:05 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 1:

that's it it's similar but no you're on the right track so look i go you know we just got back we went to nashville uh to see britney's family and to help our friends and wheelers out while they're doing their stuff but i had a little downtime so i called my buddy fred um i said let's go catch some crappie on percy priest and he said yeah let's go so i i guess i did two things i remember i took an uber to a boat ramp i've never done that before that's different yeah and you funny do you know what my uber was a tesla i took a tesla fishing technically that's one of them thing drives herself well he did have it driving himself but also i figured out i will never own a tesla living in the south battery battery yeah it was so hot in there he didn't have the air conditioner going oh he had it full blast but it was still hot but it's so hot because it can't run full power because you've got a lot you got to get to where you're going you know like and he's one he had one of them that's got the full glass roof so you get this cool experience i was like bro i feel like one of them weenies on johnny d's hot dog rollers man like cooking yeah turn the air on and he was nice as could be but anyway so fred gets there i get in his truck to back the boat in the water like i always do because that's what i do i mean i run around all these professional fishermen i dump them in because it's their boat i don't like driving their boat some of them make me drive their boat but i don't like i'd rather drive your truck you know just because but so i backed fred in and he gave me the the go oh i went fred still had a rope tied from the front of that boat to the trailer because his little deal that holds off and he forgot to untie and he forgot to untie i wasn't on you no but i mean it kind of is because i should be looking behind me a little bit but i've just done it so much when somebody gives me the go i go yeah i don't worry about that when did you stop about 15 foot up the ramp whenever i was like why what is wrong with his what's he following me for yeah i didn't even look in the rear view i was like what is wrong with this truck i looked to see if i went past drive you know and put it manual like down to one or something and then i looked i something caught my eye the side view and it was fred waving his hand 15 foot up the boat ramp buddy whoa whoa whoa whoa and we were in an aluminum boat duck boat yeah i mean he he hunts and fishes out of the same boat and you think you know that ain't very heavy you know how heavy that sucker is when it's stuck 15 foot up a duck ramp and

00:04:36 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 2:

you're trying to get it back to the water yeah it gets heavy when it's on land oh buddy it was

00:04:42 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 1:

heavy but me and fred and a spanish-speaking friend who was there fishing yeah uh we got it back into the water and then we proceeded to go fishing on percy priest well that is something do right i never get i never yeah wow i was so embarrassed i didn't even think take a picture i was just like I was so embarrassed and ashamed. Did you catch anything? Oh, yeah, we called. Was y'all embarrassed? I don't know. We put in at Vivret Creek Boat Ramp and went straight out from it pretty much. We didn't go far.

00:05:13 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 2:

That's why I always, when I was fishing with Jay, he'd walk around and check everything.

00:05:22 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't see on boats. If I take you fishing, I don't want you touching nothing on my boat. Right. because i've got a very specific order in which i unhook the boat to go in the water and the same way if if you're taking me or if i'm going i'm not touching your boat unless you ask me to do something if you ask me say hey unhook that up front but sure you throw you that way what happens because it gets you out of routine yeah that way what happened won't happen but i straight did it buddy you want to talk about a lonely feeling but you were told to go no i will i mean but still i should have been looking out of mirrors you know i mean i'm gonna i'm gonna take 50 of the blame on this one because i should have been looking but i'm just so used to them boys most people like like goblin and they got a 250 on there so when they say go they got a 250 cranked and they're gone yeah i don't ever even look again right like it's just go park the boat and uh i should have looked was it was he upset no he was like no i mean he wore he was like well he said that's on me he said i just wish you to stop before you got right here so it's not a bit on you too and i said

00:06:29 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 2:

well me too that's why most people if you say hey can i help you and i said no i got it yeah because they've got they've got their routine that they do to make sure that none of that stupid

00:06:42 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 4:

stuff happens oh yeah buddy i felt just like you know the size of an ant you could have been on of them videos where they're they're all watching the people back the boats oh i was i was a cell

00:06:56 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 1:

phone video away from ending up on qualified captain's instagram that's like they was backing

00:07:02 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 2:

down his ramp at his house and the next thing you will see is a lights underwater it went all like truck boat truck and all water made it there it could have been worse

00:07:17 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 1:

martin oh it could have been what we got it back in the water which i was stunned that we yeah but fred has done that before because he said all right first thing we're gonna do is turn the boat around so we spun the boat yeah and put the nose back down yeah so it had less metal to pull again you know so and then once we got it to the slime of the boat ramp you know where we were all trying not to die slipping the boat slid on in the water then so i said you need me to do anything else he said no you've done enough i'll get that rain up there that rain come through up

00:07:49 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 3:

there a little bit of rain oh it rained third oh yeah i heard it got pretty rough here huh why'd you catch any fish oh yeah we caught my windows were down in my little takoma

00:07:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

hey how's the makeups family they're doing good they're doing they're doing good you know alicia got the diagnosis of the sarcoma in her leg and she is when we were there she was finishing her second round of treatment they changed her treatment because the first round made her so sick so she got the second round she got what they call what the red devil uh which is the one that starts with a a a adromycin or something i don't know and then but they swapped her to another one that's like um what's the word it's like immunotherapy so basically it just takes the gloves off your immune system and says go fight like uses your body to try to fight it more so than drugs and so yeah she uh man's weird to see it was because i know her and i've known her for a long time i know how full of life and everything she is and to see her down like that it was i mean but she was in great spirit she was she's just you know she's sick man and and the medicine don't help that now it makes you feel terrible yeah and so it's just it's kind of tough to see but i told her i sent her a text last night she was like because i know how independent and strong-willed she is she was like the greatest patient ever she was she was patient with people trying to help her even though it wasn't exactly like you know what i mean though like i mean that's hard you can be a you can be a terrible patient right and she was i'm not a good one yeah and she was a great patient because she showed all of us patients and all you know we're trying to help but we don't uh you know you just try to help and do the best you can oh yeah so um but yeah man tough tough to see because her kids want to be up there in her lap and you know they just can't be because the deal's in her leg and so it's that's the worst part it hurts the whole time and so you know we were trying to keep between my kids and their kids we were just trying to keep kids distracted and you know let her have a little peace and yeah i would say quiet but there's four kids under the age of seven not gonna be quiet it's not

00:10:00 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 2:

quiet but to keep you know just to have some peace and stuff and and she did her firework show which she loves doing so we did a big firework show on on the lake and you know they're doing good they're just figuring it out figuring it out as they go so hopefully two more rounds of treatment and then be done with that and then do the next still radiation and then hopefully surgery by october to get it out of there hopefully everything works as it should and get it out of there and get her on the full-blown mend you know so um but yeah man it sucks cancer sucks there's no doubt about it and since that deal there's been so many people reach out via duck call room and instagram and all that and offering prayers and support and i know they appreciate it we appreciate and then there's a bunch of people battling it themselves so i mean it just it cancer sucks man it it's a toughie yeah so um you know but they're meeting it head on and i'm proud of him yeah because even jacob you know he's he's special i love that boy but you know he's all the time just fish fish fish fish fish fish i mean that's what he does for a living and i mean i saw him make about 10 cast while i was there because he was helping take care of her so you know like uh really really going into a servant role which is really cool yeah it is see to see husbands and marriages that strong to be able to do that stuff is really cool look y'all this summertime down here in the south man it's hot and you know what hates heat as much as we do bugs ain't that right si all right they come inside buddy don't they big time what came inside uh ants and that's exactly why pesty makes so much sense other pest control companies can charge hundreds of dollars but pesty starts at just 35 per treatment pesty customizes your plan based on where you live your climate and the bugs that you're dealing with it's diy so there are no strangers in your house and no appointment window to work around pesty helps get rid of over 100 types of bugs including spiders ants roaches and scorpions it's kid and pet friendly y'all know that's big with us and the pesticides are fully registered and used in hospitals and schools and you also get a 100 bug-free guarantee or your money back the kid has everything you need and you can get it done in less than 10 minutes it's got a bag you put you got your gloves

00:12:22 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 3:

hey when we went to england it was 20 degrees hotter the week that we were there 20 degrees hotter than normal i'm telling you i mean it was summertime in london but you were fine weren't you oh i loved it i was fine i mean i'm used to the heat plus humidity yeah we changed shirts three or four times i've only changed shirts once today i was just because of coffee yeah was that uh is that dry over yeah yeah it's dry they don't even have air conditioning you know you just open up the window if you get hot yeah me and godwin know yeah like scotland we still wanted air conditioner yeah and i did too i mean i wanted i did have some fans but i opened up all the windows

00:13:48 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 2:

as much as they would open that no ice well me and godwin got to you're right you know for those that don't know me and godwin got to scotland before everybody else for all the robertsons when we did that duck dynasty when we were on the earlier flight and we got there and they were delayed and whatever and we got to the hotel and there wasn't no air conditioning so me and goblin were like so we sent we sent a friendly text out hey heads up this place ain't got no ac which then led to another text about two hours later and say your reservation's been moved down to the american hotel that's got air conditioning so we went from windows open into air conditioning oh yeah before they ever got a bigger room a bigger room yeah we were in

00:14:32 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 3:

a little tiny thing up there yeah both of us yeah that was pre-pdh weight loss yeah phd weight

00:14:40 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 2:

that was a hundred pounds ago yeah and about 50 pounds ago for me too yeah we wouldn't either one

00:14:47 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 1:

of us little then i'm fired up about going to wisconsin again this year with you bonnie oh yeah

00:14:54 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 3:

it's always a good trip

00:14:56 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

it always feels good yeah I love

00:15:00 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 3:

I love the Hunt for Life program and what they're doing. They've got benevolent things they're doing all over the United States. Oh, that was great. And then, John, you and Paula went on some kind of special deal. Yeah, he just got back. Yeah, we talked about that.

00:15:12 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 1:

You know, he went on the, what they was, the Life Camp with Girls.

00:15:17 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 3:

The Life Camp they were selling. Mm-hmm. Which was awesome.

00:15:20 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 1:

And, hey, we had a podcast where he told one. Oh, okay. And they had, it was a blast.

00:15:28 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. well you had a great time the hunter i can i mean next year we're going i've never had this power hey put us something on great power comes great responsibility put us something on i don't know hey jeff hey jeff all right i was just curious i was curious i was wondering i don't think i have anything other i do have johnny d he said that we were welcome to uh to facetime him today from the gulf of america there's johnny d right now he's on vacation this week so i think after this week everybody will be gone and back and doing everything so i bet you he thought that was johnny's pizza it's johnny's pop yeah yeah die-free all-natural popsicle yeah there you go yeah unbelievable yeah so there he is again just when he figured out johnny d a big selfie guy for those of you that don't know at home does that surprise any y'all probably not johnny d loves him some johnny d so uh we'll just roast him while he's gone yeah well if i keep going down that road we're gonna end up talking about hot dog rollers and stuff like that which i will say we bought one and johnny d was right the hot dog roller is fantastic what are you talking about so you know like you go in a gas station and you see all them them uh them weenies are you better rolling yeah like your weenies in there and just let them go and we just wait later get you one like at the theater john we don't see that we probably don't need to read all this well i see what you're talking about but i mean i thought i who'd i send the picture

00:17:05 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 2:

oh i may have just done it on instagram i think you boys eat that many weenies no but like with

00:17:10 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 3:

us so that deal there at jacob and elisa's we've done this every year for i don't even know how many years july 4th well now everybody's got kids and so it just leaves you something for kids and people to eat all day yeah yeah like so you don't have to worry about this it's always cooking you put on the first you know you put on the first two packs at 10 o'clock in the morning that's pretty smart and then you just you know we had people just kind of keeping an eye and as it would get run down he just put more on it so there was always something for kids or whoever really what's funny is the adults ate them more than anybody i would oh you get you some cheddar

00:17:55 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 1:

200 bucks it's 200 bucks i will get me one get you some cheddar jalapenos yeah well we had a

00:18:02 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 3:

whole bar set up like you know with onions and mustard i can pay that for a party or stuff i guess it'd be worth it yeah yeah when you got like 20 people staying in a house or you know just that one little deal for four or five days it just makes an easy way you don't have to mess with nothing yeah just say once i'll check i'm gonna buy one for the camp oh you'll you'll be the you'll be everybody's favorite but in the main camp hey and you just let it roll you know what else works well on it sausage i was thinking that it ain't just for hot yeah i was thinking that yeah so um yeah no it's and if you want to if you want a really cheap code you go out there and throw them on the grill for about five minutes first and then bring them back in and put them on

00:18:42 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 1:

there and just keep them warm all day matter of fact my daughter's coming in here sometime

00:18:48 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 2:

00:18:54 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 1:

00:19:16 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 3:

00:19:23 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 1:

00:19:40 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 3:

You don't put no oil or nothing in it. You don't do nothing. I mean, you clean it. It's got a little drip pan in it.

00:20:00 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 2:

from the, you know, from the oil from the hot dogs

00:20:02 - 00:20:07 | Speaker 1:

sticking out, but I'm fixing to order one. I think I'm going to get one, too.

00:20:08 - 00:20:10 | Speaker 2:

I'm fixing to order one, but tell my wife to order one.

00:20:10 - 00:20:38 | Speaker 3:

They need to sponsor this show. I got them two grandbabies coming. I'm going to take one to work with me. I took them a piece of steak the other day. Well, there ain't nothing better than a good hot dog. I'm serious. They're cutting them teeth. They like it. They're slobbering all over their cell. Yeah. Yeah, Cassie gnawed on it, doesn't she? She was like, she didn't know what to think about it, but Cassie liked it.

00:20:38 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 1:

I miss them days when your kids eat anything. Mine's at the age where they eat like four things. They went from they'd eat anything you put on their plate to now it's, I can't like that. Now, picky. I don't want that. I don't want that.

00:20:49 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead and make their own fair aid for baby food. She makes her own baby food.

00:20:55 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we did that a few times. It's easy. and it's cheap it's cheaper than the it's cheaper than buying it well i'll fix that

00:21:02 - 00:21:18 | Speaker 2:

like pure and it's yourself what is gerber yeah oh that's all of them especially the apple sauce and all that kind of crap yeah we made a bunch of expensive yeah now they hardly

00:21:18 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 1:

eat i mean wayland still eats it a little bit he likes sweet potato spinach egg potato spinach i don't know about that yeah sweet potato spinach and so johnny d just asked if we were filming he knows we are how does he he's in agreement yeah it's like you said john david loves some john david yeah he's trying to make sure he don't get weeded out can you put my picture on the screen let's go into a game tonight oh well i something tells me that i just replied we are obviously i bet he's gonna facetime me so you can probably ask him this will be great i would imagine he's going to facetime me um but yeah hey usa gonna win i hope i mean i don't know you never know nah you don't know it won't be because we ain't rooting for him well i fix i i'm willing to win i so bad want to come watch the soccer game with you with that oh so i get the hot dog roller oh no hey you wouldn't uh can we do another episode from si's house tonight can i believe yes i can't be there because we're gonna film on location si watches the world cup

00:22:29 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 2:

00:24:43 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I wouldn't do that. That'd be my left arm. But I'm right-handed.

00:24:48 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 1:

00:28:08 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 4:

I told you, that's why I said, well, no matter. Hey, you need to marry this girl.

00:28:12 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 2:

Here's Waylon with a fireworks. He got that glow stick in his hand. I don't know. That's when he was looking at the drone. he was enamored by the drone he said look that drone's got its own star it's just the you know

00:28:30 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 1:

the guiding light we had one down there by the deer camp went about 40 minutes i couldn't believe it was going little old fire station put it on volunteer fire station oh they're trying to work it just kept i said well that's it now boom we're coming in yeah did your grandkids go to see some fireworks i don't know they was here i was there oh there you go yeah that's what i kept thinking

00:29:00 - 00:29:11 | Speaker 4:

on one watches on on us you know at the mall oh surely it's over no no there's something real

00:29:11 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 2:

fun about gunpowder whether it comes out of a shotgun shell all right it's i like the way it

00:29:17 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 1:

smells how do they make it do that from like it'll start and then it'll spill and then it'll blow up

00:29:24 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 2:

again how do they make all that wrapped up like it i imagine it's just like a rocket basically make little mini rockets go up those different stages yeah yeah i like that no one thing the mortars are the cool ones yeah i want what was spent

00:29:40 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 4:

38 minutes oh on that one non-stop 850 000 was what they said blue yo that was there there was 850 000 fireworks i know what ours cost and it was not 38 minutes long And I suspect it was a little bit smaller than that, but it was still expensive.

00:30:05 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, the last five minutes, it was so bright, it blinded you.

00:30:12 - 00:30:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:30:13 - 00:30:19 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it went from like red and blue to white.

00:30:20 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 3:

I wonder what pilots they could see for miles. Oh, yeah. We had the coolest thing.

00:30:26 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 4:

we had a cool deal because i didn't know that i needed to see this in my life but i got to and that was lightning behind the fireworks like there was a storm on the other side of the lake so as the fireworks are blowing up you just see this lightning just wow part of the show and i was like all right that's cool like that's cool the most uh yes mind-blowing

00:30:50 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 1:

was at fort bragg north carolina yeah it used to have lightning storms there that it it was it was like the the mississippi river going across the sky of lightning lightning and it was like it is out west it goes oh yeah and look when it went over us we're out in the yard with my hair is just I'm telling you, hey, it lifted every hair on my head straight up. You know, Christine just died later. He said, you ought to see yourself. And I said, what? And she got her phone and took a picture right quick and showed me. I look like, what's that old boy? They used to do the fights.

00:31:38 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Don in America.

00:31:38 - 00:31:43 | Speaker 1:

Don King? Don King. That's who I look like with my hair.

00:31:43 - 00:31:44 | Speaker 2:

Sacking.

00:31:44 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 1:

It was just, you know.

00:31:46 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 2:

One of the coolest things is me and Si were at an event on the 4th of July a few years ago, and when it was over, we were flying back, and there were fireworks. You could see from the plane just going off all the way home, looking out the window, watching fireworks underneath you. You know what I mean?

00:32:04 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 1:

That's what I was saying. It was. That was wild. No, no, that was pretty cool.

00:32:09 - 00:32:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:32:09 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 1:

it's all dark and then poof poof y'all yes

00:32:13 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 3:

lightning's cool

00:32:14 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 4:

yeah that would be cool to watch a firework show from up above yeah it was awesome yeah that'd be neat I saw them one time where was I was flying into Dallas and something had just ended a football game or something and they had a firework show so I got to see you know but it's a short one and plus I'm coming in at whatever 500 miles an hour so you just kind of you know you get to see about three seconds of it out your window before you're standing on your head trying to look but yeah i bet if you watch 38 minutes from above that's probably pretty cool

00:32:48 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 1:

probably because it went the screen was huge yeah okay and it went from one side of the screen all the way to the other there you go it was you know so that i don't know where they had it at somebody said it was on barges in the river oh probably yeah oh keep from setting stuff on far

00:33:09 - 00:33:15 | Speaker 4:

because that is dangerous very dangerous yeah we had a couple on ours go a little sideways

00:33:15 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 1:

yeah yeah it was like yo i kept seeing it light up early and when when they would go where they was white and i mean it was a gigantic aerial white yeah i can't believe it didn't light up Everything that they had in there.

00:33:32 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Fireworks.

00:33:32 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It looked like it would blew the whole thing up.

00:33:35 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 4:

They had them spaced out. Oh, yeah. They had professionals done. They weren't like us, a bunch of rednecks on the ground with cigarette lighter. Twisting wine.

00:33:43 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

But I'd have liked to. I'd have liked to.

00:33:45 - 00:33:48 | Speaker 3:

We made homemade mortar shells out of 2x12s. Oh, dear.

00:33:48 - 00:34:18 | Speaker 1:

I'd have liked to have an energy measure on that lightning that I seen come over me in Fort Bragg. Yeah. just to see what it put on the meter what it went to it probably light up a seat i don't know because i mean this thing went completely across the sky and it wasn't a little boat it was like the mississippi river flowing and it was all lightning

00:37:03 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 3:

rod real and the rod starts just buzzing i've been there yeah i've been there that line when that line picks up off the water it's time to go well no no because hey there's enough static

00:37:15 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 1:

electricity to take your fishing line and go like this you're like nope with your hair yeah i ain't got no hair we did was drop that drop that rod yeah well that thing was buzzing yeah you reel up real fast and you get the heck out of there and then type and next thing i heard that

00:37:31 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 3:

20 orders cranking up and what uh-huh we're gone yeah oh good yeah you find out just how fast you can reel one up pick a trolling motor up and get gone so i've been there yeah they just a little too long and you look and you're like oh we're cooked this is it yeah we're it's over the uh no i don't you your mother-in-law been struck got one twice really once on a deer stand yeah

00:37:58 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 2:

00:38:22 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 3:

it all up really that's why she's still with us that's gotta be i was gonna get her to come in

00:38:31 - 00:38:43 | Speaker 2:

here and talk about that i'll say that's got to be secure yeah oh yeah after that second you know first time but the second time actually be hit by lightning after that she's in the high buddy

00:38:43 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 3:

anytime i see it i go i get under a roof i'm like uh-uh well see al was leaning against the fence

00:38:50 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 1:

post yeah well it hit the wire like way down yonder 500 yards away and it still flipped him

00:38:58 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 3:

00:39:19 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 1:

the kids that always talk about to pee on the fence electric fence oh yeah doesn't that

00:39:23 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 4:

What about my buddy that peed on the spark plug to show me that his boots would protect him from it?

00:39:30 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 1:

He said, yeah, my boots, the rubber boots, will protect me.

00:39:33 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 3:

Well, what does that have to do with your tallywhacker being out?

00:39:36 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 4:

It knocked him out of them boots. He was laying on the floor convulsing.

00:39:42 - 00:39:45 | Speaker 3:

He peed on an active spark plug? Yes, he did. Why?

00:39:45 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 4:

Because he wanted to show me that he had new rubber boots, and he was like, I can touch the fence. Nothing happened. with these rubber boots on i can do anything i will not be shocked superman and we had a lawnmower out there i said let me crank it

00:40:00 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 2:

It's more of him. You pick on the spark plug. He said, it won't even hurt me. It won't even hurt. We pulled that spark plug up and cracked it up. And the first drop hit and he went back about 10 foot. Woo. I thought he was dead, but he was just rolling around shaking.

00:40:16 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 4:

Who is he?

00:40:18 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 2:

Do you want me to say his name? Yes. Jeff Glasscock. I don't know if y'all know this guy, but he's a character. Well, is it now?

00:40:27 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 1:

He's a daredevil. get on that spark plug how long ago was that oh we were kids oh young were y'all drinking no it

00:40:35 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 2:

was before it was seventh grade sixth grade yeah you know that seems like something i'd have done

00:40:41 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 1:

drinking yeah you probably did no i didn't do nothing oh yeah you'll try anything when you're

00:40:46 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 4:

drinking i ain't never thought to tt on the spark plug well let us know what happens i'll do that as soon as i throws that thing three miles as soon as he chunks that slingshot

00:40:57 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 3:

three miles have you been practicing nope i ain't i ain't john who brought the slingshot i seen where y'all brought one in here i bought him i bought two off amazon and they're cheaply made

00:41:10 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 4:

have you tried i gotta make a new one i'm scared to death i don't know when to let go of the thing

00:41:15 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 1:

hey john luke or which one i'll be finding me a piece of leather well he used to shoot them all

00:41:20 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 4:

uh you know we ain't have no ammo like i mean you you shot the rock in the driveway you got trouble that that rock was put there but we shot them old uh china berries oh yeah each other like shot each other with china berries and tallow tree berries and then ball them balls off a cypress

00:41:38 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 1:

tree i got more i got in more trouble with that's pain oh man we used to shoot each other with them things like the farm hands used to every saturday night they'd go to a place that had to come by the house, and there's an old building there that had a roof that's come over the highway. We'd get up there with a basket for the China Berries and have, like, a gallon bucket of them, cars combined. Oh, no. Oh, yeah. That's the best one. Hit those things, and you... oh that was back i was like hey that's the old half drunk one guy got out one guy got out and all you can see is a nickel plate of 45 he'll get drunk and a skunk shooting in the air so we that broke that up yeah i had abort abort mission yeah yeah i broke that up whoa

00:42:38 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 2:

we gave up to chinabury yeah we used to soak tennis balls and kerosene and light them at night and bounce them off windshields when people would drop by well

00:42:48 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, that's like when we – With the same guy who peed on the spark plug. On the show, we hit golf balls. It was lit up.

00:42:58 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:42:59 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, that was good. And I actually knocked the light out of mine.

00:43:05 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 2:

On the golf ball?

00:43:06 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I hit it so hard, it knocked the light out.

00:43:08 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 2:

Now, see, I'll believe that, but Jace wouldn't believe it.

00:43:11 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, hey, Jace was there.

00:43:12 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Oh.

00:43:15 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 1:

He said, you didn't do it. It was just – I said, hey, hand me another one. and I'll knock you it out. So he handed me nothing, and I knocked you it out. I said, son, hey, since, you know, I said, I don't play golf. I said, it's a waste of time. But old Jay said, you know, I told him every one day. He was down at the field hitting, and he kept slicing it. And I said, Jay, it's a little nominal. I'll charge you $20. And I said, I can tell you how to fix that. He said, do you play? And I said, no. And he said, that's what I thought. I said, I don't have to play to teach you how to do it, dummy.

00:43:49 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 2:

I can correct what you're doing wrong. But back in the day, me and Si did play some golf together, and I will say that he can hit a driver. The dancing rabbit is where it happened.

00:44:01 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 3:

Is that that one with the big old knot on it?

00:44:03 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 2:

What? The dancing rabbit?

00:44:05 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 3:

No, the driver.

00:44:06 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, look.

00:44:07 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 3:

That's what they handed me at that.

00:44:09 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 1:

I hit a golf ball.

00:44:12 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 3:

That golf ball and that fence. Oh, yeah.

00:44:15 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 1:

Three hundos.

00:44:16 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 2:

i had a golf ball 300 yards you know that is true that's a true story and look and i wouldn't have believed it unless but he put his name on it and marker did it get did it get on the cart path

00:44:30 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

no come on no no no look we was playing four of us and we were scrambling like the best shot yeah scramble so everybody hit one in the woods and it was my turn and i said boys what did i say to you i said what did i say to you before you got there look just hit it easy and knock it in the fairway because we're all in the woods we're all in the woods and i said no and philip said hey idiot just hit it in the middle of the fair

00:45:00 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 3:

easy don't go for it about five about 50 yards i said no i said you see that open spot down there in the fairway and i said yeah i said i'm gonna put it right there cool yeah no hey look i got ready yo i'm showing his form hey that's the hardest i've ever swung and i hit it perfect you know and i'm looking i'm saying it's gonna make it it's gonna make it it's gonna it's gonna going over the street just getting it's over i said but yeah i said i think it hit in the stand trap and somebody looked way down there we just come by the 250 marker you know another 50 75 yard down there and it's a white spot in the middle of the fairway and one of them said hey i think that's your ball down there and i said hey we just passed the 250 marker i said that's three 325 i said i can't hit a ball that far you're right yo and i said hey well you know so we will look all around there and i said the guy said hey i'm gonna go down there see if that's the ball well he went down there he said hey it's got your name on it this is your ball you hit it and

00:46:15 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 4:

jay said was this supposed to prove something i was like yeah it's 300 yard drive he says i got four idiots holding up three fingers, that don't mean you hit the ball 300 yards. I said, yeah, it does. I said, they're testifying to it, son. Oh, Jay, you can't get one over on him now.

anybody i ain't know today i love all these i've heard them all i've heard that's like east wind

00:48:50 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 5:

yeah that's when they have a feast you be sure and go when that's going on is that true

00:48:55 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 6:

yeah they bite like crazy on east wind yes well it's funny because some people say fish feast

00:49:01 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 3:

and others say they bite the least i've always it's been right well they don't bite at all yeah

00:49:08 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 5:

Winds out of the east fish bite the least. You're using the wrong bait, or you didn't go. Winds out of the west fish bite the best.

00:49:16 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 3:

The best one is we had a pond that was, you looked west. You know, about 30 miles, and we had a pond over there at five acres that had lily pads in it. When it was storming over there, rain, we'd load up and go. Just light, drizzling rain on the pond. yeah how you have tiny torpedo and it was the uh sun perch on the color

00:49:48 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 6:

all right that kind of torpedo that color the back of a top water gets me look hey you're talking

00:49:56 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

about eat them alive yeah

00:50:00 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 1:

00:50:06 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 4:

i do i mean yeah a lot of times we pray in the dark every morning before we duck up just for

00:50:14 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 2:

safety i always do that for safety yeah that's what safety i say lord send us some ducks yeah yeah yeah well at least you were safe all right no no i'm serious pray for safety pray for safety

00:50:26 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I don't have like any, you know, for hunting, you got to eat this or not. I mean, I don't have nothing like that.

00:50:33 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 3:

There you go. Okay.

00:50:50 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 3:

I catch a check.

00:50:52 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 2:

That's because a boy likes fried catfish.

00:50:55 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 4:

I ain't got to do it with what he said. I don't know. Well, sometimes you got to connect with your foe.

00:50:59 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 3:

Because he said, hey, we got to eat catfish tonight. Tomorrow's a tournament. So tonight, we got to eat catfish. We're going to be throwing them back the rest of the time. We're going to be hungry. Yeah. After they weigh in.

00:51:12 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 2:

00:51:15 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 3:

00:51:17 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 2:
