All the hits, Kiss 95.7, Courtney, and Kiss of the Morning. It's just about time for War of the Roses, Jeff. All right, let's do it. All right, so War of the Roses. If you think your significant other is acting strange, bizarre behavior, and maybe cheating on you, you call us, and we try to get some answers. A lot of times we do get answers.

00:01:16 - 00:01:17 | Speaker 7:

We get the answers, Courtney.

00:01:17 - 00:01:36 | Speaker 6:

This morning we're going to Glastonbury. We've got Gwen on the line. She's having problems with her husband, and we're going to find out what's going on. Good morning, Gwen. Hey, good morning. Hey, welcome to the show. Oh, my gosh. All right, so I hope we can help you out. Obviously, you know how War of the Roses works. Oh, yeah. Before we do anything, though, you've got to let us know, what is going on with your husband, Alan?

00:01:37 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, my husband, Alan, disappeared on Thanksgiving. What? For three hours. He said he was going fishing. What?

00:01:46 - 00:01:52 | Speaker 6:

Wait, are people fishing right now? Walmart Jeff likes to fish. Do you fish right now? Yeah. Is it fishing season? I don't get it.

00:01:52 - 00:01:57 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, you can go fishing right now. Yeah, it's good fishing, yeah. Really? Like trout and stuff like that.

00:01:57 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. Whatever. You know, I mean, at first I was like, what the hell? But then I thought maybe, you know, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he's picking up like a surprise for the kids or something, right? Then he gets back three hours later, no surprise for the kids and no fish. I mean, there's definitely something up.

00:02:17 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 7:

I mean, catch and release. You got to respect the fish.

00:02:19 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 6:

You know what, Walmart Jeff, on Thanksgiving, would you leave your family, would you leave your wife and your two kids on Thanksgiving to go fishing?

00:02:26 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 7:

Not fishing, but this Thanksgiving, I actually went for a drive by myself after dinner.

00:02:30 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 6:

What was your excuse? I just wanted to go for a drive.

00:02:32 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 7:

I just needed to get away from the kids.

00:02:34 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 6:

So you think maybe he just needed to get away from the kids and his wife on Thanksgiving?

00:02:37 - 00:02:42 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. And if I can recall, the weather was pretty decent on Thanksgiving, so it was a good time to fish.

00:02:43 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 4:

But how long were you gone?

00:02:44 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. I mean, I was gone for like an hour.

00:02:45 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 6:

All right. Gwen, I'm with you. I feel like, you know, maybe he loves to go fishing and he needed to get away, but not on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks and be with your family. And he's lucky enough that he's got you and he's got the kids. And leaving to go fishing just sounds bizarre. I know. I know. I feel like I don't like, I have a bad feeling. All right. I'm with you. So, Gwen, we're going to call up Al and we're going to offer him roses. We'll try to, like, feel him out a little bit, see if we can get some info. You're going to be listening in the entire time. You'll hear everything he has to say. And at any point, if you want to jump in and confront your husband, absolutely feel free to do it, okay? Okay. It's giving me a stomachache for some reason.

00:03:28 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 7:

I think that's the lack of food in your system.

00:03:32 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:03:35 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 5:

Say hello.

00:03:44 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. Is Alan there?

00:03:47 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 5:

This is Alan.

00:03:48 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Alan, I'm glad I caught you. Hey, this is Eric from Flowers Express. How are you today?

00:03:56 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you doing?

00:03:58 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 7:

Actually, there's a lot going on over here. That's why I sound a little flustered. But, hey, I just wanted to give you a call and let you know, Alan, that you actually won a dozen roses courtesy of Flowers Express and our online promotion.

00:04:09 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, awesome.

00:04:11 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

Yep, this is completely free, 100%. We don't need any credit card. We don't need any emailing. We don't need any, like, home address for mailing lists. It's 100% free. It's a pay-forward program. Basically, we're going to send the flowers to someone on your behalf.

00:04:27 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 5:

Sweet, man. That sounds awesome.

00:04:29 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 7:

All right, Alan. So I got everything in front of me, and everything's ready to go out at some point today. I do have a card that I can include with the flowers. Is there a message on the card that you would like me to write?

00:04:42 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah, right. You are the ultimate catch.

00:04:49 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 7:

You are the ultimate catch.

00:04:53 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 5:

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

00:06:01 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 4:

Gwen, you are blowing this way out of front. I'm sending them to Annabelle because she does take care of her kids and I don't think we do show her appreciation.

00:06:14 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 5:

Do you really think I believe that? Do you really think anyone

00:06:19 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 2:

would believe that? You left on Thanksgiving to go fishing, really? And then you see right in the car the ultimate catch. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Gwen. I'm sorry I don't. I don't buy it, Alan.

00:06:30 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

It was hard to find a good homeschool teacher, right?

00:06:34 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 5:

What is wrong with you, Alan? A dozen roses to the babysitter? Come on. What do you think? I was born yesterday? Get off it.

00:06:43 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 4:
