And then apparently, I don't know, I didn't expect him to not call me back. So that's unfortunate.

moment uh we're doing a dating segment and would love to chat with you about a date you've been on recently if you have the time a lady called and yeah thank you she'd love to go out with you again her name is amanda now i'd love to know what you thought about your date with amanda because she's feeling like you ghosted so did something go wrong or what's up um i mean yeah

amanda she was great um beautiful lovely um you know i felt like for the most part the day was pretty good um food and wine were good um but yeah conversation was pretty good but she did something that was pretty weird on the date, and that's why I'm not really interested anymore.

So, like, basically stood up and...

she just kind of announced that she was going to walk home really quick like so she lived like a couple blocks away was this during dinner or what yeah it was during dinner okay and she wanted to go put on flats like shoes so she was yeah she was wearing heels and she wanted to put on flats and i was like what do you mean she's like oh well i wouldn't have worn heels if I knew that you were like this short basically uh and I mean I was pretty much floored uh I was I I told her I was like you know you don't have to change your shoes like I'm totally comfortable with how tall I am or you know how short I am I guess how you know tall you are and like it's not a big deal and she just said that she felt huge she said like a like someone from the amazon which i thought was interesting uh she felt that like that next to me and she didn't want people to stare geez so yeah and she was serious and i and yeah it was just really strange okay so to be

completely transparent yes go ahead amanda's on the phone with us amanda now i have questions uh-huh uh i mean that's kind of like i mean it's not that big of a deal he said he was cool that

just seems really weird to like leave a date to change your shoes well i mean i just i didn't

feel comfortable like there was just something about it was such a huge height difference like i felt like a giant and i and i wanted to be like a nice day a nice you know moment for both of us you know and i just wanted to have a good time i didn't want to have to think about you know people staring at me and i just felt i just felt like people were just staring at me and

thinking i was like oh my gosh i don't know just weird this is the bay area i mean there's so much more to look at than a woman who's taller than her date what do i always say even if you think

you're weird you're not the weirdest one out there no not here um you could see how that could be off-putting yeah all right like i sort of get it doug where are you at like now that we know what's going on would you consider a second date um i'm honestly i'm

pretty weirded out still at this point like i don't know why somebody would do that it was just a little bit dramatic for me and uh yeah it's like it's probably gonna be a bigger issue down the road i mean i can tell you know just by the way she reacted so i'm i'm gonna pass on that

got it hang on hang on i don't think that was ever gonna work to be fair at least she tried

you know it's funny i've been in her situation i dated a guy who was my height and i had to flats and uh he dumped me so i don't know i don't know anyway second date update it'll be back
