tell us about the first date okay yeah well we met on hinge I kind of hate online dating but there's no really other way at this point honestly I haven't had much luck on there either but up until Sophia we matched I started chatting a bit and uh it was fun she's super easy to talk to uh we both live in the same area walnut creek uh talked about tv movies you know the usual get to know you stuff um and from her pictures she's absolutely beautiful so all things were kind of clicking um and after a few days of texting back and forth to each other i just asked her out see if she wanted to go you know on a date we kept it super casual we met up at pete's coffee for a little afternoon thing sure um and honestly in person she's 10 times more beautiful than she is in her pictures and i mean that as a compliment her energy was absolutely incredible um we talked about kind of what we've been up to over the summer what we plan on doing you know over the course of the next year she's super easy to talk to like i said and we hugged it out at the end um and yeah that was pretty much it i've texted her almost every day since we met up but no response at all ghosted she hasn't gotten back i don't

Okay. Charles, I was really excited for the date. We had like a very nice time talking online. I feel like it's hard to make conversation with people on Hinge a lot of the time, but he was very fun to talk to. And so I was excited. And then he didn't have a ton of pictures up, so I didn't know like exactly what to expect but he looked pretty cute and like you know not a murderer so again double excited that's a plus then we show up and he yeah exactly that's always what i'm looking for um but then we show up and he's like looking just so sloppy like like barely rolled out of bed sort of basketball shorts tank top soccer hat kind of vibe and i'm just like if that is what a grown man is wearing for the first date i just don't really know what kind of effort i mean whatever he's putting into himself but also like the relationship potentially if that happens or me and it just felt like such a huge turn off that i don't know i was kind of a big

like that's just pretty much how I look yeah but also it's not like you know wearing pajamas to a coffee shop you don't need to be in like a tie but you know you also had a picture of you in a bathing suit on your profile and it's like I would have been less surprised if you showed up in a swimsuit with that logic it was just like you know do you care about meeting a new person or not and

it felt like you didn't i mean it's been super hot outside i mean what am i supposed to wear like slacks i i don't get it i don't get the outfit the fit like i mean yeah i wore a hat who cares like that's uh i don't know that's a little materialistic maybe i don't know

well i mean first impressions are important charles just to ratchet it up a little bit more

I don't know. If it was an Italian restaurant, maybe if it cost more than six bucks, but we just sat down for some coffee. It was just some conversation. Sorry, I didn't know that. My bad. Maybe it's my fault.

I don't want to feel like we have to go out to an Italian restaurant for you to put any... I mean, I don't think that it's either essentially pajamas or business casual. I feel like maybe a grown-up can figure out some middle ground. No offense. So it's a no for me.
