Yeah, this is an interesting case for me. So, yeah, I met Marianne on the end. You know, I took the first step. I messaged her. You know, we started talking a little by little. She seemed like a really fun person to talk to. And I looked like she was into me as well. So I decided to be like, you know, hey, maybe we should get some food at some point. Sure. So we decided to meet up in person. We went for some burgers on Saturday. It was delicious. It was nice. You know, I thought that it was great. She seemed to have a lot of fun. You know, it surprised me because it's like everything just was going so good. I mean, she had such a great sense of humor. I mean, I was very surprised by her capabilities to engage with me. We were just having a blast.

I'm glad you didn't say you were surprised she was funny because I was going to get insulted by that.

Yeah, no, it's like she just caught me off guard. And I was like, damn, this is going on great. I mean, and I was glad because I even practiced. I was making sure I was getting all my conversations good with her. You know, I felt like I was on point. I was being very thorough in what I wanted to do and how I was getting across with her. So, yeah, we ended the date. It was fun, great. She was laughing. She seemed very happy. And from there on, I tried messaging her back, and she never messaged me nothing. And then I went to look her up on Hinge, and her profile was non-existent, which kind of surprised me. I was like, whoa, what just happened here?

She's gone.

So maybe you just give us a rundown of how you thought the date went.

For a split second, I thought she was going to hang up. So, yeah, tell us about the date from your perspective.

Well, he seems like a really nice guy.

He was cute. He was funny. Kind of charming. And so, you know, I agreed to go to lunch. And then lunch was McDonald's, which, which, you know, I was like, OK, it's always so hard to decide whether I want a quarter pounder or the two cheeseburger meal. I can't. I mean, those are. I'm sorry. Are we starting a McDonald's podcast? Yes. I can rock a Big Mac.

Yeah, I just... So, yeah. Not, you know, my ideal first date, but okay. Like, maybe this is his thing, and I'm willing to go along for the ride and see where it leads. But what really put me off was that the date itself went pretty well.

But then I said, you know, maybe next time we'll go someplace, you know a little nicer and try something different and that's when he said like he intentionally took me to mcdonald's because he was testing me to see if i was high maintenance

oh and i had passed i had passed and i'm like what wow this is twice in one month dude there was a guy a couple of weeks ago who told his date that she'd quote made the cut yeah

So we're doing tests on first dates now?
