You know, the segment, we do it every day at 7.05. Basically, we talk to people out in the dating world, and if you go on a date and then you think it's fun, and then you don't hear back from the person you went out with, we will try to call them to see what's going on.

Jeff's on the phone with us. Jeff, good morning. Good morning, guys.

Hi. All right, Jeff, so let's talk about Trisha. Now, I read your email. You guys met on Hinge?

We did. You know, this was my first Hinge date.

Yeah, my friend just joined. That's why I was like, oh, neat.

And, yeah, it was pretty amazing. I thought we had an amazing time, honestly.

What did you guys do? You went to Campbell, I saw, right?

Yeah, we went to Campbell. Okay, so here's what we did. We met on Hinge. We talked a lot. We had a lot in common. We go out to Campbell. We have some glasses of wine. You know, we're sitting outside under the, you know, to have those heating lamp things. We're getting nice and cozy. And it was just so nice. You know, it was so nice that I had this woman that was listening to what I had to say. And we had a good conversation and she was mature.

Like, so the date seemed you guys had a good connection. You had some wine. Was there a kiss at the end of the date? How did it end?

You know, because I'm a gentleman and I didn't, you know, I'm not the kind of person to go in for a kiss on the first date. uh um she's a designer she showed me some of her work i was really impressed by it um you know i'm thinking about doing my my condo uh you know so i just i don't know i thought we had like a lot in common um and then she she was interested what i do i work in you know i work in tech and you know it's pretty boring to most people but you know she she at least listened to what i had to say sure you know did you ask her out again i did and then you know i'm she She said, you know, oh, yeah, yeah, let's do this again.

And then that's it.

And then nothing. Then nothing. You know, and I mean, it's not the first time I've been ghosted by a woman, but this is the first time that I haven't deserved it.

You know, she just hasn't tagged, you know, like, for the day afterwards, I texted her and said, thank you for the date. I had a lovely time. And then I tried to set up a second date, and then just nothing. You know, I get the hints pretty quickly, but, you know, I haven't texted her, you know, Over and over and over again.

hello good morning is this trisha yeah hi hi trisha um this is marcus and sandy we actually do the morning radio show on star 1013 have you heard of it hey trisha um yeah okay what i know it's really early so really quick um we do a segment on our show called second date update we we always do it around now and we're just trying to talk to people in the dating world we actually were contacted by a guy named jeff do you remember going on a date with a guy named jeff do you mind if we put you on the air for a hot minute um sure i guess yeah okay cool so yeah so does that ring a bell does that sound familiar he basically told us he went on a date with you he had a great time

and now he can't seem to get a hold of you right yeah jeff was a really nice guy i just you know we had a good time. And I mean, he's a talker. He just will go on and on and on. And, you know, I didn't mind listening to him for a while, but, you know, he started talking about someone that, you know, I know personally, and, you know, it turns out that they dated and, you know, she's a friend of mine and he just wouldn't shut up about her, like just saying these awful, horrible things and you know you know i've known her a really long time and you know it's just not fair to like accuse this girl of being a complete slob and a loser and like can't get her act

together just because she works at whole foods okay hold on one second we actually have i'm sorry to tell you this trisha but jeff is on the line with us and jeff you mentioned nothing about you

guys have a friend in common jeff jeff uh yeah well i mean i didn't you know i didn't think about it yeah we have you know i did date a friend of hers and i didn't realize that we we knew each other and you know until uh until into the date we realized that we had a mutual connection but you know i'm i mean our friend i don't i'm not i don't want to name names but she really she's she's not a very responsible person she's in a lot of debt and she asked for a lot of favors and you know this is every time she calls you it's it's for a reason she wants something from you and it's you know that and uh and i i do apologize for going on a tangent when when when

it was yeah i mean i felt like it was all about her like it would be fine if you dated someone that i knew but like the fact that you just trashed her the whole time like did you miss

the part where i told you she was my friend yeah but like oh well my friend is such a oh you know it's such a vague description of somebody you know i mean do you honestly think that she would

be there to help you move your stuff when you're on a date though do you see why trisha could be a little off put by this because it's like you're taking this time that you're supposed to talk to her and get to know her and you're like talking crap about someone it just kind of looks

bad you know i i do i totally get it and and trisha i apologize for for making you feel uncomfortable and i apologize to our mutual friend who i still uh uh would would warn you against uh being um too close to her because she will uh take things from you but i i do apologize

and i'm sorry trisha should we try this again you guys trisha could you do a second i don't think
