It's what we do. We try to get you a second date. You go on a first date, everything is swell, or so you think, and then you don't hear from the other person. We try to figure out why.

Let's bring in Jen. Good morning. How are you?

Good morning. You know, that's fun.

I know. I always say, I feel weird when I ask that question, Because, I mean, you know, we're in crisis here a little bit. But not crisis, that's a strong word. That's a very strong word. But we need answers.

What can you tell us about your date with Rob? Let's start with how you guys met.

Yeah, we met on Hinge. Like, I was, you know, I was super attracted right away. We didn't meet, like, initially. We chatted for a few weeks. So, like, we kind of, like, built up kind of a relationship. I love how adventurous he was. he's like he's been skydiving and he's like does triathlons and he travels a lot so that was like really alluring so yeah we we decided our first date was going to be at this like kind of up-and-coming restaurant um it's 40 miles away um where i live yeah so i was kind of like uh but then i was like oh you know what that's gonna be great because then in the car ride like we can kind of like chit chat a little bit we don't have to worry about like getting salad in our teeth and stuff

as we're talking you know what else is great too is you could pretty much figure out if you travel well together or not at that point that's a big deal exactly so yeah and he was cool yeah he was

super cool like we bonded over music in the car yeah there and like it was i thought it went well we played darts afterwards so like we kept the party going so to speak and yeah i just i don't know why he ghosted me it's like a full ghost pretty much uh i mean i'm i'm not the one that's gonna text first afterwards like i just i feel like that's up to the to the guy in the situation

please elaborate yeah well i mean we we went on our date and i guess i don't know did she tell you that it was like 40 miles away from where she lives so it was a long ride there right um and when we get there they're closed on mondays oh she left that part out to where we yeah we didn't even get to go to where we wanted to like we went and got some tacos and like we had a good day but I was, like, mortified. Did you pick the restaurant? Did you pick the restaurant? Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. It's a new place. And, you know, I... searched and it didn't say anything about being closed on Mondays.

But I know a lot of restaurants that are closed on Mondays.

Yeah, what's that about? So I thought she didn't have a good time. We drove so far, basically 100 miles round trip. And then I just never heard from her, so I wasn't sure what was up.

I mean, the phone works both ways, am I right?

Yeah, I mean, I feel like I would, I know this sounds so cliche, but as a woman, I'd want to make sure that he enjoyed his time and I would wait for him to call me.

Sure, maybe like in the 90s or something, but girls are allowed to call guys now. I'm sorry. Have you had a good time? Oh, boy.
