Yeah, I mean, I met this guy, Matt, on Hinge, and I guess I'll just talk about him.

He had a great personality, and I really enjoyed getting to know him. And we decided to go to Chinatown for lunch because he likes all kinds of food. I also love all kinds of types of food, and we both work in the city. So we just decided to meet there, and I thought it was really, like, awesome. And, you know, some dates are awkward, but it wasn't awkward at all. So I thought, yeah, a second date was a sure thing. And then he ghosted me.

You know, it's funny you say it wasn't awkward because I always tell my single friends, one of the things that stood out to me about my first date with my husband was that it was so easy. There was no games. We were just ourselves.

Yeah, and that's kind of how I felt about the date. It was easy.

What were those things they had in Chinatown, those underground?

I thought there was like this weird history to Chinatown where there's underground jails or they would kidnap people. I think you're thinking of Pioneer Square in Seattle, but I'm going to... And I'm not suggesting that you ghosted, but we're curious about how the date went for you and whether or not maybe we could get a second date.

Yeah, well, I'll say, like, I really enjoyed getting to know Jessie. She's really sweet, and we laughed a lot. She has a really good sense of humor. She's right there. I appreciated that she was. I guess the one thing, like, we met up, and I was sort of surprised at how she looked, like she was wearing a really... big like oversized hoodie and checkered pants and really beat up sneakers and i could tell that she hadn't washed her hair in a while wow whoa what wow why does that wait why doesn't my

outfit matter i thought we were just meeting for like a casual lunch it wasn't like we're going to a fancy steakhouse or something so wait had you washed your hair in a while or not uh i mean i mean i wash my hair it's not like i don't wash my hair but i don't know if i washed it for the date okay so maybe it was just that day i mean matt are you willing yeah i mean

well so that was my first thought too is like i was willing to just sort of forget it but then i sort of did a deep dive on her social media and like basically every single picture had that same exact outfit and that's the thing like if that's her vibe that is totally fine like i don't want to shame that vibe it's just not my thing you know like i i personally really like to look nice and I care about sort of looking put together um so I guess it's just like a taste

difference there I do not wear the same outfit it's not the same outfit in all my Instagram photos they're different outfits they work in tech like everybody dresses like this it's not a big deal
