So we met on Bumble, which online dating, and we actually, we were corresponding for several weeks and just like really casually but also like fun conversations and then he finally asked me out which I was really excited about and so we met up last weekend for sushi and the date I mean really was fun we like had two bottles of sake and you know I mean I will say with those two bottles we definitely got a little toasty and a little tossed but yeah but we laughed a lot and even afterwards we texted a bunch but he hasn't asked me out again so um i know we were both talking about ted lasso that we really both loved ted lasso i think it was so great and he did too and you know i mean i guess i wouldn't mind watching a couple episodes with him you know

oh that's nice well thank you for picking up because i know it's super early um we are we actually are doing a segment called second date update and we heard from somebody i guess that knows you named julie does that name ring a bell yeah okay so

So, Julie says she had a good time on your date, but she says you've kind of ghosted. She's wondering if maybe she did something wrong or was it a misunderstanding. Maybe you've just been busy, but she'd like to go out again. So, where are we at?

Okay, I see what this is. So, man, honestly, I just kind of had a change of heart. The date did go well. it was some stuff that kind of afterwards it just kind of i don't know it just it just kind of shifted the vibe and yeah it's like with your life i mean so i mean the date went fine but afterwards she got like basically it's like she just started just to comb through all my social media not like a little bit not like liking this thing or this thing but like old old photos and she starts sending me screenshots because it's private and then asking me questions about things So I was like, okay, she's looking into my stuff. But then it kept going, and it was kind of weird. I'd be getting pictures of my dog and stuff, which I don't even have anymore. And she'd be asking me about the dog. I'm like, that's like a really old photo. And then there's like a bunch of likes started to pop up everywhere, and it was like more than normal, and it was just like a lot of red flags. So I was like, okay, what's happening here?

I'm sorry. yeah I just basically social media is this public platform and even if it's private it's totally like public and open and and I'm glad that like I was looking through your social media because I think we got pretty drunk that night and like I forgot half the stuff that we talked about

yeah I just you know I figured we could date again or something and then talk about it not that you'd be combing through all my stuff and like I'm getting like 36 likes for old photos and stuff and the thing is I've been through something like this before and it's just like

a red flag for me okay well I just want to say that it wasn't 36 likes I think I might have liked like 10 things and also don't act like you're an angel because I saw that you looked at my website because like I checked the IP addresses I have a tracker installed so you were looking as well so it's not like you're so innocent see like that really creeps me out though you know like that's that's not good okay that i'm smart and that i looking on social media like

a normal person would i think so the vibe i'm getting is that this is not what a normal person would do and that's what i'm worried about that there's something peeking behind the curtains And that's all. I didn't want to make that a big thing. I didn't want to do like this about it.

I've done nothing to show you at all that there's something behind the curtains. And I just want to let you know that everybody looks on social media at somebody that they're dating. That's normal. And I thought we had a good time. I'm sorry that I liked a couple pictures of yours. I didn't act creepy in any other way other than checking out your social media profile, which is public.

I don't know if this is going anywhere. Are we even clearing the air? Steven, do you, it sounds like it's a no from you, but we just want to make sure, are either one of you wanting a second date?

Man, I didn't want it to be like this, but yeah, no, I was just put off by the whole thing, and yeah, like, I don't know, and all the way too into, I don't know, the online stuff, I don't know why that rubs me the wrong way, but it's just a red flag for me.

Okay, that's, let's just put them on hold, that's gonna not happen. Yeah, that's. You know what, Marcus, at my comedy show last night, listeners were like, does anybody ever actually go on the second date? I'm like, sometimes, but most of the time it's weird. And that was weird.
