Hi, Martin. All right, so we got your email about Lena. So I guess start from the beginning. Where'd you guys go? How'd you meet? How was the date?

How did it end? Yeah, so we got linked up by a friend, a mutual friend, and started texting her. You know, we were just chatting for a couple weeks, and things were going well. You know, it was a good... Good back and forth? Good back and forth. Thank you. There you go. So, eventually, I invited her to this party. My buddy has this huge house, you know, just giant backyard. Backyard that's bigger than my entire house. Sure. And, yeah, she agreed to go with me. I was really pumped. We went. You know, we hung out. We drank. We had a good time. At the end of it, you know, there was, like, a hug. And I told her I hit her up. And she said, great. And so, you know, I've been calling her, I've been texting her, and she hasn't been ignoring me. You know, we've still been, like, texting a little bit, but every single time I broach the subject of going out again, she is either busy or she just avoids the question completely. And, I don't know, I thought we had a really good time, and I don't know, I'm having trouble getting a second date. I don't know why.

No, it really did. It used to back in the day, like the last time I dated in the 90s, it feels like. But whatever. It was only like five years ago, right?

Of course. Marcus makes a 90s reference almost every day. And I don't think he knows it was like 30 years ago. But anyway. I miss it so much. I do, too. I do, too. I was so thin back then.

It started organically. Is that fair to say?

Yes. So, Martin, you met Lena through a friend. You went to a party at a good friend's house in the backyard. Huge backyard. Nice house. You said you talked. You laughed. You had drinks. Good chemistry. Hug at the end of the date. You told her you were going to reach out, and you did. And she has not gotten back to your... Did you text her or did you call her?

I called her, like, twice. She didn't pick up, but we've been texting a little bit.

It was nice, yeah. I mean, he's, Martin is cute. you know and he's very nice and um um i mean he's the the day went good it's just you are a little too social for me and i just i i didn't feel like your attention was in me 100 kind of i don't know okay slow down i want to understand this yeah did you say anti-social or too social too social like what does that mean he knew everybody at the party like it was a big party kind of like just for being a fact like uh just you know and he he was saying hi to everyone and i just felt like he was more into the party and saying hi to people than what he was actually

like talking to me did you feel like he didn't pay attention to you is that is that yeah i mean

there was a couple times like someone would come and she then spent 10 15 minutes talking to them and i'm just standing there and because i don't know them and a lot of conversations i'm like very excluded of it and then keep going to the um the bar to get drinks and he will take like 15 minutes and i'm just sitting there like scrolling through tiktok and stuff like that You know, so it's like, are we in a date? Martin?

I mean, I don't know. It was a cool party. There was a lot of people I knew. You know, I'm there to party. I'm there to, like, say hi to people. I mean, Lena, it was great having you with me. Like, I don't really bring girls around very often. You know, people just, I'm kind of a loner, so it was nice having you with me. Like, I really enjoyed introducing you to all my friends. Like, I don't know. I felt like...

What if you guys go on another date, but it's just you two? Maybe it was just too many distractions.

Or Martin can stay focused.

I mean, honestly, there was one time when you went to a bar and you were talking to this girl, and there was nobody there but her. And I thought it was rude, you know, because I was there with you, and you're chatting up with this girl. And I don't like feeling like that, and I just don't want to feel like that again. I'm sorry. I just don't.
