We match on an app, right? and immediately we start talking and i'm having good vibes of like okay we're getting along and it seems like not like just the personal level but like where we are in life you know with dating and partnership and she was vibing in the same way and to be honest it felt like a breath of fresh air we had a date and it was amazing like sometimes the chemistry when you're Talking on an app doesn't really translate to in person, but this time it did, and it was wonderful. in my life i've never heard this go ahead okay so like he did all that but then for me would absolutely seal the deal where i was done at the end of the day he pulled out his phone and he said that he likes to do a quick gratitude check-in after date and so he listed three things that he appreciated about the evening out loud and then he asked me what mine were like your your highlights pretty much and i didn't know what to say because i was still processing the date we were still on it i don't i don't know but now i do okay here's the other a half of this i think

okay this is awkward obviously i want to get your thoughts i mean like i look i i don't see that's an odd thing to say that I'm too positive. At the end of the day, I feel like I like Daoism, you know, the Tao Te Ching, like Eastern philosophy has been important in my life. And it's all about reframing things in a way that's positive. There's nothing really wrong in life, because if you look at it, there's an undercurrent of like sweetness, you know, and that's what I believe in. And people will label this toxic positivity, but it's actually toxic i think to even frame it that way because the zeitgeist is like that you know it's okay to

be negative and it's okay to on people no and i see where you're coming from but like i said before sometimes you just want to vent and have a bad day and like release that onto your person just to kind of like you know get advice or reassurance or you know somebody to be cranky and upset with

you right let's let's move on to the other thing the whole gratitude check-in at the end of the date. What was that about? Seems like a lot to ask. I don't think so, man. They say like when

you verbalize things, you're like working with words. Words are powerful. Maybe that would have
