We made it. So, Stan, she's feeling ghosted. We're trying to score a second date. You know what this segment's all about. Let's start with how you thought the date went from your perspective.

Yeah. Well, I don't know what Monique has said already, but we did kick it off pretty good. We were talking on Bumble for a while, and we decided to meet up. We actually had a really great dinner. We do have a lot in common, but they're just...

It seems to be something that is really bugging me at the end of the date that I don't vibe with. At the end of the date, Monique asked for a doggy bag, and there's nothing wrong with taking home leftovers. I might take home leftovers in there, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was that she got the leftovers, and there was a lady cleaning the booth behind us. and as we were walking out she offered the food to her to take to her family she got her leftovers

to go but then offered them to somebody who works there i mean i don't know about you guys monique

i just i i felt like it was very offhand and uh i i felt so awkward i just wanted to crawl to a hole

it's a little i don't know if condescending is the word you're making a lot of assumptions here

Because if I saw that, I would think you thought, Monique, that she was needy.

I mean, I didn't want to waste the food, and I thought maybe she would need it more than I did, you know?

Well, then just leave it on the plate. Don't be able to go and offer it to someone who looks like they're in, I mean, they didn't even look like they're in need. You know, it was just someone working, and, you know, it could have been the owner that's hands-on or something. And I just think, you know, it's so disrespectful to assume that about someone that they want your leftover food.

I can't imagine doing that. But I sound like a hypocrite because I take food from my fridge that I don't want to go bad, but I know I'm not going to eat it. But I leave it on the street. Is that but I would never I don't feel comfortable going up to somebody going, hi, you look like you need this more than me.

Yeah. You see how this might be.

I didn't say that, but I just said, hey, would you like to take my leftovers home to your kids or something?

You can see how that can be awkward, right?

I mean, I guess. I mean, I didn't think about it in that sense that maybe they could be the owner. Like, she didn't look like the owner, so I didn't think like that.

I'm going to make it real similar here. If you can't see that that was wrong, I just don't have room for someone like that in my life.
