i i tried not to like ghost in general i feel like that's not like the greatest tactic but But honestly, in this case, I just felt like I didn't want to go in for a lecture on why I wasn't making the right choice. I felt like there was sort of a lot of lecture elements of our date.

Can you elaborate on that? I'm just trying to figure out what my guy did wrong. totally um i mean he seemed really nice and like personable and we had a nice conversation but honestly the whole thing felt more like sort of a ted talk on we went out for tapas and it felt like i was i was there to like learn about it felt like a seminar on tapas rather than like a

getting to know you sort of date okay he did clue me in that he kind of ran the ordering and stuff Was that not helpful?

I mean, he didn't really check in with me to see what I wanted. And maybe that works for some people. But, like, I don't like being ordered for, especially if I don't ask for it. And whenever I suggested something, he was like, okay, kiddo. There was a lot of kiddo throughout the date, which is sort of a red flag for me.

Like, he literally said that? Like, that's what he called you? Is that what you mean?

Yeah, he called me kiddo. And, like, maybe he thought that was sort of funny, but I thought it was pretty gross. and then he explained sangria to me um there was just sort of a lot of dissecting of the evening and he was like well you probably aren't familiar with this even though I had told him that I had been to Spain um and also just like have been alive for a number of years so I know what sangria is sure so it was just sort of a lot of condescending in that department okay otherwise really nice but maybe he thought it was my first time out to dinner other than that it was amazing other than that it was amazing and i learned a lot actually okay well okay here's where we are

so gosh hi okay first of all i thought i was taking charge here uh because i was just trying to save us from ordering six versions of the same croquette i mean you know i asked you about allergies so i knew we were getting out ahead of that one yeah but just because i don't have an

allergy to something doesn't mean i want to eat it it felt like i was with my like dad's friend

at a restaurant like i needed help ordering yeah but i feel like you need to expand your palate i mean that's why we're there that's what the whole point of tapas is no oh really interesting so it

was sort of like a learning moment for me it was an enrichment exercise for me i mean i don't see
