Yeah, okay. So first, like Rob is awesome, first of all. We met on Coffee Meets Bagel and basically just like off his profile, he like has pictures with like him and like foster dogs.

And it turns out he like fosters them and like brings them home, which is like so cute. um and then we started like messaging and it turns out he also like donates uh his free time at like a food bank that's great it's great but it's also just like okay he's cute he rescues dogs he goes to a food bank it's just like okay what's wrong with him no i know right um so then we start you know like you know we go off to texting and it's just like you know when you're texting someone and it's just so easy and you haven't met in person but it's just like the conversation like through text is just like so it's you know what I mean it wasn't like the boring stuff it was like fun and like breezy and easy yeah um and so I was like really excited um and then he asked if I wanted to go to brunch and I was like absolutely it's like the best meal of the day um and so i mean right um but yeah so he uh recommended this really cute spot in um burlingame and they had uh bottomless mimosas which i was yeah that's what i'm talking about okay because there's there's no bottom and it's great um and it was just fun you know what i mean like we were there and like we got like a couple bottles of like the bottomless mimosas and we were just having like a great conversation um at the end of the day he like went in for like a hug and he was just like i had such a great time and i was like i had such a great time and then that was kind of it but i just assumed it was like oh you're not going in for the first kiss because it's like the first date like whatever that's fine and then i've just been like texting him being like hey i had a great time like hey do you want to hang out and he's just like not writing back to me um so i just don't i just don't understand what uh well i mean look

I did have a little bit of a problem because, like, we were vibing and getting along really well. And then the problem is, like, she really got too excited about the bottomless mimosas. And I'm like, okay, do that? Yes. Okay, I guess so. And then we get there, and she basically dove headfirst into the carafe and never came back out. Like, I had a fine time. I have nothing wrong with loosening up a little bit, especially on a first date. But she is just slowly getting louder and louder with every single glass to the point where I'm looking around. Like, are people noticing that she's shouting, or is it just me? Like, I had two glasses, and that felt good for me because it was, like, 11 a.m., right? We went through three carafe. three and she was like every time the waitress left she was like let's try to keep an eye on her to make sure we get her when she comes back we can get these refills because i'm getting kind of low and i'm like it's 11 in the morning like did you uber yeah but it's brunch it's brunch though and it's bottomless yeah it's brunch but it's like that was like her whole thing all day like i'm gonna do bottomless moses today that's my thing it was like she was more excited about that than just meeting me and talking to me all right valerie your thoughts okay well that is

just first of all you said you wanted to get brunch right and so like if there's gonna be bottomless mimosas i'm gonna try to like not have the bottom do you know what i mean like because like when the waitress leaves like she's vanished right so like that's why we have to keep an eye on her so she like comes back and stuff but like there's nothing wrong with day drinking You know, it's like a Saturday, right? It's a weekend. Do you know what I mean? And like, I don't know. You're supposed to have fun on the weekends. And like, I don't know. I mean, I just feel like if you didn't have like a great time on the first date, like I just would appreciate like having a second opportunity, maybe like not at a brunch thing.
