okay honestly mateo you're super sweet dude like you're really nice he planned a really nice day he's polite the food is great everything was really fun but like just halfway through the dinner like something really just weird starts happening okay mateo you start like he starts clearing his throat like constantly like could like not once not twice but like like every couple of minutes there was just like a loud deliberate throat clear before he would like speak okay and like at first i'm like okay maybe he like swallowed something like maybe he didn't realize he was allergic choices and was about to go into anaphylactic shock i didn't even know but like it just keeps happening Thank you. And every time we would start a new thought, there's like this deep throat clearing sound first, and it was just driving me bonkers.

Well, okay. So I don't know if I did it that many times, but I'm okay. So this, when I was in college for when I do these like speech classes, there was this, you know, just to make sure my throat was clear, everybody could hear me at the back of the room. I'd go, I swear, I maybe think I did it, like, three times.

No, dude, you did it, no, no, I'm so sorry. Like, when we were exchanging stories, you did it, like, before every sentence or every thought. Like, I'm not in an auditorium, I'm right in front of you, bro. Like, it was just, it was too much.

It's like when my wife tells me to stop talking to myself or stop making so many noises. Although, we've been together for 15 years, so, Matteo, not the best look on a first date.

like that wasn't what he goes in like which i was nice enough that i would like kind of go on another date with him but then like there was just kind of a story that like towards the end he told me that really sticks out to me um we were just like exchanging travel stories and like sharing things that people had done on vacation and like we were just chatting and material just casually mentioned that you know a few years ago he was at like a you know one of those destination wedding locations and he like just snuck into a wedding for a resort that he was staying at in Mexico and like went to the reception like it was happening by the pool and he just stopped in grabbed a drink stayed the rest of the night chatting eating drinking dancing and like I was like hey did you know the couple and he's like no but you know everyone just assumed I was someone's friend and i was like okay as someone who just planned her sister's entire wedding and like realized how much money and time goes into that i was like so did you feel bad about it he was like no it's weddings are big so no one will notice and i don't know i just thought it was kind of rude

the tail back to you i mean listen honestly i thought that was a funny story i thought you were laughing what i was laughing what i was talking about it it was like a casual spontaneous thing i saw somebody they said they were at a wedding he was wearing the same buttoned up shirt that i was wearing i was like oh this would be funny they won't even notice and i just went in i didn't like i didn't steal anything from them i had a couple of snacks i had a couple of drinks i spoke to a couple people like there's movies about this that's what i said like the wedding

I just thought, like, it was kind of, like, out of pocket. Crashing a stranger's wedding for free food and drinks is, like, it's really not harmless.
