00:00:38 - 00:00:44 | Speaker 2:

us to get you a second date you went on the first one you felt like it was good but now we're running

00:00:44 - 00:00:59 | Speaker 3:

some hurdles yes will will's on the phone will hey guys tell us about your hurdles let's talk about let's talk about tina let's go oh dude he sounds bummed he sounds bummed oh don't laugh

00:00:59 - 00:01:44 | Speaker 4:

i am what's going on what's going on so we've gone out on a date um she disappeared she disappeared after the first date and like i i can't i don't understand i can't figure it out how did you guys meet you guys sure we met on hinge okay um and it started really well like you know what and everyone i think connects with people on the dating apps like in their own way we connected over food sure food is both of our love languages so like me too me five yeah so it just kind of made sense for us to both go into the city and you know get some tapas uh that sort of thing so um the shared plate experience is definitely my favorite well i

00:01:44 - 00:02:13 | Speaker 3:

don't want to correct you but it's it's pronounced tapas otherwise they're laughing at you in the kitchen sorry oh sorry this is so bougie no it's fine it's fine just continue with the story you're good continue i just see it hurts my it hurts my face a little bit when people do i'll shut up now i'll shut up go ahead no you're good so you so you go to tapas and tapas um yeah so i mean i like

00:02:13 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 4:

the sample and all that stuff so i i really agree with my hand okay so uh i'm really getting into it and i felt like you know it's kind of my math like we were really hitting it off and you know they ended uh you know the meal together and uh what did you guys talk about we just kind of like swap stories about like traveling and you know growing up uh she's from connecticut i'm from Southern California so just all that but like we both love like love love love the Bay Area so yeah we're just we're lucky that we could even afford to live here you know sure no kidding yeah it's just a really nice connection and like I said since the date disappeared so I don't know what happened all right well

00:02:56 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 2:

maybe she got food poisoning and she's in the hospital another theory from Corey

00:03:00 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 3:

what was yesterday witness protection no that was the day before right

00:03:05 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday it was amnesia. It's got to hit the head.

00:03:08 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Amnesia. Will, we're going to call Tina, and we're going to figure this out. Can you hang on the line for a song? Yep. All right, dude. Hang on. It's second date update, Star 101.3. More variety from the 2000s, the 90s, and today. It's Star 101.3. It's Marcus and Corey. We're doing second date update. We have been chatting with Will about his date with Tina. Food is their love language. That's really all we need to say.

00:03:32 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I get it. I'm right there with you.

00:03:34 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 3:

They went for tapas. There was a lot of red wine. Will, stop me if I'm getting any of this wrong.

00:03:41 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 4:

But you had a good time, right? Yeah, it was the best. I'm like in the dark. I don't know what happened. All right.

00:03:48 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, let's call her and try to figure out. Hang on the line. In fact, go ahead and mute now because she will be able to hear you otherwise. So we're going to call her and we'll ask. Here we go.

00:04:04 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 2:

00:04:54 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 3:

um i mean we might as well just bring him on will are you there she knows Thank you.

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 1:

the drill yeah i'm here here we go all right well easy never thought this would happen to me though

00:05:07 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

says everyone all the time ever uh how do we pretend like will's not there tina so you can tell us all about the date because first of all did you ghost i ghosted for full-blown legitimate

00:05:22 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

reasons okay i mean i i've i've heard this segment many times so i know he probably did the rundown and told you what a great date we had i'm sure he told you that we both love food and that we went to a great little restaurant and just it ate to our heart's content yeah i'm sure he already told you that okay great sounds dreamy yeah and at first i was like really digging him because he definitely has an adventurous you know palate and he was down to try all kinds of great foods and you know wasn't the guy who says i'm a foodie and then orders a cheeseburger you know you know he definitely was like great and i enjoyed his company and he's not bad to look at all the things but at the end you guys so it just got weird because as we were leaving obviously we'd been drinking we were feeling good had a good buzz whatever but as we were like going out because we basically agreed to share a ride share we found out we kind of live close to each other so we were gonna share a ride home um we're walking out together and as we're leaving there's like a few tables kind of on the way out the door and he literally treated the tables you guys like it was like the hometown buffet how's that i mean i get the visual okay well the first table like not that big a deal there was obviously like a some sort of grilled cheese thingy like on a plate that was like off to the side not touched like not that big a deal and he like grabbed half of this grilled cheese you know like a bougie grilled cheese but he like grabbed half of it and started eating it as we were walking well what if somebody like sneezed on their plate i didn't even think of that i just wasn't like a like just too general like gross you know but now you're getting me thinking of like even more gross things you know like actual like germs and freaky stuff but yeah exactly so that happened and then there was like one table that was like disheveled and he thankfully bypassed that one and then there was one more table on the way out the door that like literally had half eaten food, like bites taken out of stuff. And he literally grabbed, I don't even know if it was like, I don't even know what it was, like a fried potato or a fingerling potato. It was kind of not something you eat with your hands. And he just like grabbed it and like put it in his mouth as we're like walking out the door. I'm sorry, Will, that is disgusting. That is not good manners. That is not proper etiquette.

00:07:46 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 3:

Will, so many questions, Will.

00:07:49 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, dude. Were you, like, were you feeling the drinks?

00:07:53 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, I've had a few glasses, so I was definitely feeling myself. Like, you know, they had some good music playing. Like, the company was great. So, yeah, I definitely, we knocked back a bottle, for sure. Don't skirt the issue, Will.

00:08:10 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if feeling yourself, honey, is the term. Yeah. Is this something you're doing all the time?

00:08:13 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 3:

Food off of people's plates, Will.

00:08:15 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I thought, okay. the first one like she said it was the little grilled cheese the artisan grilled cheese thing it hadn't even been touched and it just looked really good i was between that and something else on the menu so i was like oh like maybe this is a chance to try it you know and i grabbed it as we

00:08:31 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

went by and then you know what if somebody licked it or licked their fingers and touched something

00:08:38 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

i mean we're building immunity here right i mean i didn't i didn't think anyone had touched it just They really, you know, I don't know if they maybe brought an extra plate out or something like that, but it was totally untouched from what I saw. So I didn't think it was a big deal. The other ones, I admit, yeah, I mean, half the plate had been touched, and then I grabbed one of the potatoes just to try it because I saw it passing as we were sitting there chatting, and it looked really good. So I was like, oh, I wanted to try that because my meal didn't come with that. So, I mean, I didn't really see the difference between grabbing it off of somebody else's plate versus Tina's plate. you know like we're all sharing it's tapas you know like wait what like okay should we all just

00:09:20 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 1:

have like a big orgy at the end of the night then like we're all just sharing like is this just sharing is caring to the next level i can't like no like we just in a world where we all had masks on and had to keep six feet away from each other like less than two years ago like i just can't be down with some guy who's just going to eat off random strangers leftover sneeze on touch licked fingered plates it's just no like this is not even a thing tina i'm gonna go out on a limb

00:09:47 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 3:

and say probably no second date here i want to go out with tina cory i want to go out with you

00:09:53 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

all right honestly i think you guys know absolutely no second date for me no thanks

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 3:

you i will pass like you should have passed on the grilled cheese right hang on with the zinger

00:10:06 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:
