Mojo in the morning. Cav. Almost got into an accident yesterday. What's the story, Kevin?

00:02:48 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 6:

So, like this song, I was pretty turnt up yesterday. Although not to Little John and Eastside Boys. For the 90% of people in the world who have no idea that yesterday was the eighth year anniversary of Drake's album Views. Which, little known fact, is the first album in the streaming era to sell a million copies in the first week. What? known fact i was reminiscing i had it turned up for first five tracks i'm in deep it's going crazy pause loving every single minute of it i'm hype and throughout this experience i don't realize until i turn to my right and i see a spider on my shoulder immediately it's defcon 5 and i'm no longer saying drake lyrics i yell oh spin like and I'm I'm left hand. I'm driving right hand. I'm vibing kind of both hands. I'm vibing. But at a certain point in time, no hands were on the wheel and I'm smacking my shoulder because the only thing that matters is getting this spider off of my shoulder. I don't care where it goes. And then all of a sudden I realize as the horn beeps next to me that I'm in somebody else's lane. Their piss is one of those situations where once you kind of get things correct and they pull up, they kind of looking at you like, what you doing? I'm like, I'm sorry.

00:04:09 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the spider almost caused an accident Wow I did not know

00:04:14 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 3:

That you were a spider Yeah, if you see a spider like in your house Do you freak out like that?

00:04:20 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 6:

No, I'll go kill it I'm not scared of spiders like that If it's on your body It's on my shoulder in the midst of a turn up session Where I'm not expecting it And it's like Four inches from my face Yeah, no, I'm with you there Come on, man That's cause for concern

00:04:36 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 5:

Really? I did not I did not know that you were a screamer. I did not know that you screamed over something like this. Okay. I thought that a spider, a little old spider. It's not like it's a tarantula or something like that. How big was the spider? It was probably like the size of a large fly.

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Was it the size of a quarter? No, it was smaller than that. It was smaller than a quarter.

00:05:06 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't matter. I feel like the smaller, the worse. It's on your shoulder. They could get anywhere, too. The little tiny, they could crawl into your ear. It's the big, fuzzy, fat ones.

00:05:16 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 1:

If you're not, like, why is a spider in my car? First off, why is it on my shoulder while I'm turning up? You don't expect this to happen.

00:05:25 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 3:

I don't crawl into a web and go, this is my home now. respect me and i'll respect you charlotte stay over there i'm gonna be on my side

00:05:33 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

correct by the way if you got yourself if you got yourself into a car accident and the police come all right and they they're doing the police report and they say what was it and you say a spider you think that the guy's gonna go hmm you're gonna say i get it yeah yeah yeah yes i get it yeah yes i don't know i don't think so i think he's gonna be like come on here look at you What are you?

00:05:57 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

Bro.

00:05:58 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

You're the size of a linebacker for guys' sakes.

00:06:00 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 1:

Did I overreact? Potentially. No. Yes.

00:06:03 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 2:

And I don't buy, by the way, when he says that he kills the spiders at home. Call Shirelle. I bet you it's Shirelle.

00:06:08 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

I do.

00:06:09 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 2:

Shirelle's the one killing it. It's just a little tissue paper. It's Josiah, yeah. It's like, Josiah, Joe, get over here. What's going on, Miranda?

00:06:17 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So, long-time listener here again calling.

00:06:22 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay. So, second-time caller. Thank you.

00:06:24 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 6:

my husband's grandmother has totaled out two cars due to spiders valid and i i have probably taken out or almost taken out like two or three of my cars due to insects really funniest one was yeah the funniest one was back when we were living in toledo and we were leaving his grandmother's house and we had his brother with us and this butterfly flew in through the windows and i completely let go of the wheel and like freaked out over a butterfly.

00:06:57 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The only thing funnier than Kev almost taking out a bunch of cars because of a spider would be Kev and a butterfly.

00:07:04 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 1:

Are you afraid of butterflies too, Kev? I'm not scared of spiders. It's the reality that it was on my shoulder while I'm driving. Rachel.

00:07:14 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Rachel.

00:07:17 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Rachel.

00:07:18 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Rachel. I just listened to the show giggling.

00:07:21 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 5:

It's a good show.

00:07:21 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

We lost you there for a second. Rachel. Rachel. There you are. Hi.

00:07:27 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:07:27 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

Dead spot there. What's going on?

00:07:28 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, I have a funny story. I was driving back from Florida, and I was almost, you know, I was just almost to Michigan, so I was a little delirious because I drove straight through. And probably the size of a quarter, a spider came out of my baseboard of my car, like my windshield baseboard. And I kind of panicked, but then it went back inside. and two weeks later it reappeared when I was driving my daughter to school and so it had been that entire time for two weeks it was in my car.

00:07:56 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there's babies. There were babies made. Oh my god, don't say that. Yeah,

00:08:00 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

probably. You know what's funny is that I have no fear of spiders. None at all. I have fear of like alligators. You know what I mean? Like something like that. Like I get fear of that. I get fear of snakes, okay? Snakes. Spiders though? Alligators are not going to do you.

00:08:17 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

Anything small that I can't see. And I got to believe more people are injured and killed by spiders than alligators.

00:08:23 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't get, but I don't even get like fearful of like a bee if a bee gets in a car or a wasp or something. Manly mojo.

00:08:31 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 7:

I love bees.

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

You know.

00:08:34 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 3:

Bees are way different than even spiders because spiders don't really bite. I mean, some of them probably do.

00:08:39 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 1:

I have two spider bites on my leg right now.

00:08:41 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 3:

But a bee sting. Bees like will literally put poison inside of you. See, for me it's me. You can lose a limb from a spider.

00:08:50 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember when we did the contest with Slim and Intern Jack Black? Yes. And we had Intern Jack Black and Slim in a car.

00:09:01 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

We did a spelling bee.

00:09:02 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 2:

And we did a spelling bee with them. And we unleashed bees into the car. Yes.

00:09:06 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Like 100 bees. Yes. Do they know about this?

00:09:10 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, they were bumblebees. They didn't even realize it. They were non-stinging bumblebees. They had no clue.

00:09:15 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 3:

But those two idiots thought they still stung.

00:09:18 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know that, so I know.

00:09:19 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Debbie? How you doing?

00:09:22 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. Evan, everyone. Love the show. I had a co-worker that was so afraid of spiders that one day it was like 10 o'clock in the morning and she still wasn't at work. And we were like, where is Melissa? So we got a little worried and called her up. And she was like, oh, my God, I can't get out of my apartment. I opened the door and there was a spider in the entrance lane. I can't get out. I've been stuck in here all morning. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. It's so good. She said finally she was able to open the door and spray it dead, and then she came to work. But, oh, my God, she was so afraid.

00:10:00 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 3:

00:11:53 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's a great idea. That is a great story, Debbie. Thank you, Debbie. Give it up for Debbie.

00:11:59 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 7:

Come on, Debbie. Committed every time.

00:12:02 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 3:

I hope she goes back and listens to that.

00:12:03 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 6:

I think it was a true story, though, because she didn't change anything. It got better and better. Yeah.

00:12:07 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 2:

Her voice got better and better.

00:12:10 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 3:

Worse than being fearful of spiders, Andrea, what do you think?

00:12:15 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 5:

00:13:18 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, good morning.

00:13:19 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 3:

Who is that?

00:13:20 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Oh, that's my son, Eric. We were dropping him off, so he wanted to say hello.

00:13:24 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you? So, LaBelle, you drove with a bee in your car before?

00:13:30 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 4:

So, Eric wasn't born yet. My older kids were in the car, and it was four of us, and the bee got in the window, and I legit had to pull the car over and pull all the kids out and get the bee out. I have two that are severely allergic and we were like on Lafayette coming off a 75. Oh, Jesus.

00:13:47 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

Harold, where was yours at? You actually got stung by the bee, Harold,

00:13:50 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 1:

right? Yeah, I was driving and it came in at a stoplight or whatever and then I took off and I didn't see it and then I noticed it and I was trying to swat at it with my one hand to get it out the window and made a weird eye contact with me and then just hit me in my

00:14:04 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 3:

ear hole and then Heather Heather yours happened on Gratiot I heard huh yeah so my husband my

00:14:23 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 8:

00:14:39 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:
