Mojo in the Morning Show. This weekend, Chelsea and I went and did some mall shopping for the kids for Christmas. And so we went on Saturday. The mall was packed, by the way. I'm going to tell you, it was nuts. The lines were insanity. I couldn't believe how long some of the lines were. Can I talk about the Abercrombie A-hole place?

Who is that?

So we go into Abercrombie, which, by the way, Abercrombie, the line there, is so long it wrapped all the way from the front of the store to the back of the store which when i got to the front of the store i'll explain why the line was so long but where the line was all the way back and i said to chelsea i go hey wouldn't the smart thing be for me to stand in line you go do the shopping and then by the time you're done with all luke's shopping of all of the shirts and things that he wants we're up towards the front you just didn't want to shop No, honestly, no. I just didn't want to stand in that line. Yeah, divide and conquer. So I said this to her, and she goes, well, here, here's one shirt, so at least you're not standing there with nothing, and people get angry. So I go stand in line, and then a guy comes and stands right behind me. And then he says to me, he goes, hey, could you do me a favor? Could you hold my spot in line here for one second? I've got to go grab one more thing. I'm like, yeah, no problem. And then I'm on my phone. I even took a picture and posted it on our story and stuff, because I'm like, look at this line, how long this line is. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Finally, Chelsea comes back, and the line's literally at least 25 minutes long. And this is probably 15 minutes into it. She comes up, and we're kind of getting closer and closer to the front. She has all of her stuff, and I'm standing there, standing there. Still no guy, by the way. I'm thinking he's gone. He left. Then he comes back with not one more item. He comes back with all of his items. He's got them all. What the guy ended up doing, and I think I got scammed with this whole deal, was he heard me say to Chelsea, I'll stand in line. He was by himself shopping. He didn't decide to himself, well, I'm going to make this guy stand in line for me. And then comes up and says, hey, man, thanks for holding my line. I'm like, oh. Everybody's kind of giving like grunting, groaning, like what the hell is going on? The guy had me hold the line for him. Don't you think that's kind of an a-hole move?

But would it have affected your time to get up to the cash and start off?

No, because he was behind me. but still it affected everybody else and I'm like doing and he didn't offer me anything I didn't get anything offered to me like not even a he was it was like not even a thank you out of the whole deal are you the last person in line when he asks you to wait no at the time I was the last person in line yeah so he got behind me got you but then by the time that he jumped in line there was at least 50 or 60 people that are standing

in that line I call that smart no you think that's a smart move no I think you're a jerk because he would have been his body would have been taking up that space. You did him a very nice Christmas favor. You did a good deed. You're done. You think that was a good deed on my part? I didn't want to do a good deed. He was by himself. He didn't have, maybe he didn't have a wife or a girlfriend this holiday season to shop with. You're not going to get me. I already did Christmas this morning. And you did him the biggest favor.

No, I'm not going to do it. I don't care.

I'm not going to do it. I don't care. If you get out of line, you have to get back in line at the end. unless you have a friend saving your spot I will always save a spot for you

People are arguing with each other. I saw three.

Three Chaldean ladies that looked like they wanted to, like, you know, rip each other's eyeballs out over the spot and line that they had.

Well, the staff was not very friendly, and they all looked like they wanted to rip their own eyeballs out. I felt bad for them. I think they had probably been treated poorly all day, but they were not very nice.

God, there are more athleisure-type stores. I was looking at that. They have Lululemon. Seriously, yeah. Thank you. Is that a good thing? It's a great thing. They had Lululemon. They have this aloe store. They've got Viore, and then there was one other one that I, oh, Fabletics or something like that.

Oh, yeah, we love Fabletics. Why are they so expensive, all of them? Even Roots. I don't know. I went to Roots the other day, and I was like, what the hell is going on in this sweatpants world where a pair of pants is $100?

It's insane. I don't know. And Nike has, like, a full athleisure line there as well. What's up, Kristen? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

Actually, the worst place to try and stand in line at this time of year right now is costume. You're right. I went there on Friday. I went there on Friday. The line was insanity. The checkout, the quick checkout was insanity. I saw this old guy in line. I went up to him. I was like, how much do I have to pay you to be your granddaughter right now? I had one thing. He's laughing at me. He's like, it's okay. You can cut. I'm like, okay. I'm like, actually, I need one more thing. I did only grab one more thing. Oh my God. You're like that guy.

You know what it is? It's called the pretty girl.

His real granddaughter came up to me and said hi. His real granddaughter was with him shopping. It was hilarious. He was so nice. So shout out to Gary and thank me.

That is the pretty girl card. Which Costco was this at?

It was the one in Brighton. So shout out to Gary and thank you for letting me cut. I'd probably still be in that line right now.

Worse than the line at Brighton Costco is the roundabouts out in front of that thing, which are scary as hell yeah they're a little tricky yeah it's nutty thank you for the call

And especially since he was at the end of the line, like he got behind you, it would have been completely different if he was like in front of you, but he was at the end of the line.

So what spot were you really holding?

And that actually is a very good point. Like if the guy was in front of me, I probably would be more, you know, kind of kind about it than I am today over the fact that I feel like all I was was a placeholder for this guy. You know?

Can I tell you who the worst is and the reason why the lines are long? The four people working at the Abercrombie and Somerset Collection in Detroit, Michigan, might be the slowest people I've ever seen in my life. The one dude, this one dude was like, uh, uh, uh, I swear to you, this guy.

It's because they're high from the smell.

I think that's what it is, too. This guy literally was like, it took him like five minutes to try to take a security tag off that literally he already took off. I'm like, what is going on here? Seriously, put some faster people up there.
