Mojo on the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. So yesterday I had to run out of the studio, like literally run, because I was running late for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Guy Fieri's new Chicken Guy restaurant.

00:02:07 - 00:02:09 | Speaker 4:

So cool. Yeah. So cool.

00:02:09 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 3:

And they invited me to come for the ribbon cutting and stuff. And thank you to Anthony and everybody over there, the Tomey family. These guys are the Tomey family, the nice people. I mean, I got to tell you something. One of the things I've learned over the years is that always be nice to everybody because Anthony told me I met years ago when he was making me a number 12 beach club at Jimmy John's and he's making me the sandwich and he's doing the whole thing and he's behind the counter. And we just started talking about, like, you know, my obsession with Jimmy John's. And I had no clue that this young guy was the owner of all Jimmy John's and all these restaurants and all this stuff. And it turns out this guy was like, he's unbelievable. He played for the Tigers at one point. He was in their system for a little bit. And now he's Guy Fieri's buddy and doing these chicken guy restaurants. They're, I was going to say, teammates because of the baseball thing. So he invites me over to this thing, and as I'm driving over there, the worst possible thing could happen to me. I got bubble guts.

00:03:18 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 2:

No. It's the worst.

00:03:21 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm getting ready to get on 275 right over here by the radio station to head over to Livonia. And my bubble guts started going off on me, and it started going.

00:03:33 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 2:

Did the panic start to set in?

00:03:35 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 3:

And panic starts setting in, and it turns into when bubble guts ever happens to me, I've got to turn the radio off, and I've got to turn the heat up in the car.

00:03:44 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, see, I rolled down my window.

00:03:46 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you do?

00:03:46 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 1:

See, this is why you carry an emergency stash of Pepto-Bismol with you wherever you go.

00:03:51 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know if I'd have time to help it. This stuff, it was like poking through. Oh, nice. So let me tell you, I'm driving on 275 and I'm freaking out because all I'm thinking to myself is I'm going to go to the grand opening of this new chicken guy place and I'm going to show up there. And when everybody's saying hi and they're all wanting to cut the ribbon, I'm going to be like, guess what I'm going to do? I'm going to christen your bathroom.

00:04:17 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 2:

You blow past everybody else without even saying hi. Just go straight to the men's room.

00:04:22 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

You can't do that. I'm like a race car that has the fire coming out of its exhaust pipes. But so I'm like, I can't do that. So I started like trying to think to myself, I'm a smart person. I can think of something. So there's a hotel right by there. Okay. So I pull into the hotel and I'm going, all right, I'm going to run into the hotel and I'm going to go use the bathroom. And I go into the hotel and sure as you know what, it's a bad one. And I'm telling you guys, it's like a gluten allergy bad one for me. like that's when you know it's bad when i'm sitting on and i'm on when i get on the toilet i don't stay on the toilet for it with my night

00:05:00 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 4:

My gluten, I get contaminated, cross-contaminated. I'm on the toilet for five minutes. I'm on the toilet for 25 minutes, you know? So I'm on the toilet, and I'm in their bathroom, which thank you to the hotel. I didn't even catch which one it was. And my phone rings, and it's Nick Thomas, who's their person, because I called and reached out to him. And I'm like, Nick, I don't know, man. I'm not feeling good. And he goes, oh, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. He goes, hold on. Let me put Anthony on the phone. And he puts Anthony. and i'm talking to anthony from the bathroom and he knows you're in the bathroom and no he honestly doesn't because i think it's loud there because there was a ton of people that were there all right and i see the people i could see them because i drove right by it it was all crazy and stuff so long story short uh or short story long i've been talking for a little bit i um i didn't make it to the thing because afterwards i just did not feel good after this thing was all over with and i was feeling so awful and i i guess i want to pose this off and i don't want nobody has to be disgusted by this because we'll just get the funny little where you were but where were you when you got the bubble guts like what what was the the situation that was in your life at that time because when you get the bubble guts it doesn't sit there and go oh yes you got time in your day to have bubble guts it always comes when you have no time in your day yeah i'm so excited

00:06:22 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 6:

to hear from all of my fellow IBS girlies. This is our time to shine.

00:06:27 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 4:

Megan, it's the worst, isn't it?

00:06:29 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but this is like a regular occurrence for me, which is gross, and I just have to live with it. This is my life on a day-to-day basis.

00:06:36 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 4:

And the worst part for this is you're never dressed appropriately for bubble guts.

00:06:43 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 6:

Never. I always have Spanx and then shorts on for the chub rub. It's literally the worst. And then if I have pants on top of that, now it's just a race to beat the clock. It's so stressful, and then you get sweaty, so then you don't want to go out after. It's terrible. It's awful.

00:06:57 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 5:

This is PTSD from, like, last week when I was on my way into work. I literally had to take my Sorrento in and have it clean because I was scared that it got on my seat. I was on my way into work. All I got was... What do you tell the cleaners?

00:07:13 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 6:

What do you say?

00:07:15 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 5:

I just say, hey, I just need to get this clean. What is your soapiest option?

00:07:20 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 4:

Blame it on the kids. I always did that. At the front seat, though?

00:07:24 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, they were just sitting there. My seven-year-old was driving. Do you want to know the funniest part about the story as you're telling it, Mojo, is that if you remember, like, gosh, it has to be four or five years ago, I told you this story about going into the fast food restaurant, and somebody had, like, an explosion in there. I mean, there was poop on the walls. There was everything. And I walked in like, oh, my gosh, they're going to think this was me as soon as I walked out of the bathroom. That was Anthony Tomey's Jimmy John's that I was in.

00:07:50 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. That was it. It's raining from the ceilings.

00:07:54 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 1:

I was a regular customer, and I walked in there, and I was like, oh, my God, I got to go tell them about this. But now they're going to think I did it, and now he's going to think our whole morning show has some sort of horrible gut problem.

00:08:05 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 4:

We're freaky fast. Tyler, where did you get the bubble guts?

00:08:11 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So back in, I want to say like 2012, there was still a place called the Old Country Buffet open, and right next to it was a Goodwill. And growing up, me and my family would always go and eat at the Old Country Buffet, and then we'd go to the Goodwill. Well, me being a little kid at the time, I was like 13, 14, we're all shopping, and I'm standing at the counter with my mom, and I was like, hey, mom, I don't think I'm going to make it home. She was like, no, like, you'll be fine, you'll be fine, and well, needless to say, I just started sprinting towards the back, and that was not a good option.

00:08:55 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. Yeah, sprinting makes it worse, right? Yeah, yeah. By the way, I used to love the Old Country Buffet. They were great. OCB. Yeah.

00:09:05 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 6:

Are they not around anymore? I don't know.

00:09:07 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 4:

Maybe there's just a couple. Maybe there's some of them around here. Yeah. That's awful. Oh, God. Poor guy. And when your kid is the worst. What's up, Michelle?

00:09:18 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I was sitting at...

00:09:20 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 1:

She said sitting.

00:09:22 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 2:

I know. I thought so too. I didn't know. We're talking about bubbleguts. you know how long that is and you don't want to move and i'm just thinking wait hold on we cut

00:09:34 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 4:

you we cut you for a second because you when you said i was sitting we thought you were you put the h in there but you didn't no okay so tell it start again so you were where i was sitting at

00:09:45 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 8:

I didn't. I made it, I don't know, 20, 30 people in front of me, and I had to leave, and I missed my whole name because if I wouldn't have, it wouldn't have been good.

00:10:09 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. So you actually missed getting your diploma.

00:10:11 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 9:

Yes, exactly. Yep.

00:10:13 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's awful. That stinks. Literally. And now, getting her diploma, Michelle. Yay. And by the way, I'm playing the song Poop in Circumstances Instead of Pomp in Circumstances Tim, what's going on?
