so i donated a bunch of stuff that was delivered to my house with my address but no name on it and i waited like a month and a half before donating it to see if anybody would come claim it and now my neighbor is saying they want full price for everything because it was theirs okay

Fully agree. Yeah. I don't think that you're an a-hole. I don't know if this is necessarily an am I the a-hole as much as it's that I wonder if they just contact the people that sent it and say, hey, I never got it. And then you're not responsible for it all.

seems a little straightforward right what is she supposed to do be a storage unit at a certain point by the way how is it taking somebody five weeks to realize like something said it got delivered and they never got it well that's that's my question is like what kind this is a little too much information what kind of a place do you live in like do you live in a building where it was easy for this to be the wrong address or are you on like a street like

do you have a house where it shouldn't have been mixed up it's row home so yeah there's like 15 addresses squished together so it okay stuff gets left on our stairs some people have like a box

so here's my thing with that when it comes to that because it's easily confused whether they typed in the wrong address or you know the the delivery person read it wrong um and delivered it to you by mistake i think when you live so close to other people you have to hold on to it

for a little bit longer really no that's not my problem really yeah but she said it had no name

on it but it had her address right but if like if at my apartment building right there are a lot of packages that get delivered with no names on them and just addresses so you have to look up the unit numbers and not all of them even have unit numbers or names if that was the case i feel like i would send out a message to management and be like hey you might want to put out like i have these items whatever it is and i don't know how you would do that if it was a row of homes but only because it would be easy to confuse your address or type in the wrong address and get it delivered a few doors down when i think hold on to it longer that's actually a pretty decent point and would

you also would your opinion change opinion change if what was in the package was more expensive than towels and clothes. If they brought a camera and you didn't want to carry it and you donated it, it's still their property.

She wouldn't be donating a camera, I guarantee you. She'd be gifting it to somebody at Christmas.
