It is time now here on the Mojo in the Morning Show for Am I the A-Hole. We got another dispute here on the show that we need to settle for a member of the show. So the Am I the A-Holes that we do, you can actually text A-Hole to 95500 if you have something that makes you think that people will think you either you're an A-Hole or not an A-Hole. if you want to clear your conscience. KP from the show, our producer, did something that she's wanting to know if she's an a-hole. I can't sleep at night. I literally can't. I'm tossing and turning over this. And you're not overly dramatic on that. You actually legitimately last week were very shook about this.

00:02:16 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I have been, ever since I moved home, I've been looking for an apartment and I wasn't making any moves until I found the perfect place. And recently I had a friend that I went to high school with asked me to live with her and I'm like all right sure because I'm very open to having roommates and love roommates I don't mind splitting rent um so I said yes and we were looking not super seriously I was you know sending her a couple listings here and there we would talk maybe every four days and I went to go tour a place last week and the two bedrooms were terrible but the one bedroom was really nice and i feel awful because i uh i applied for the one

00:03:00 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 5:

bedroom and i put down a deposit good for you really did you tell did you tell them nope

00:03:07 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 3:

so is she still looking for a two-bedroom place or have you told her since signing the The application or lease or whatever

00:03:17 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 2:

I've mentioned it to her But I still feel like an a-hole

00:03:22 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 6:

I don't think you're an a-hole And here's why You didn't like the two-bedroom So either you're going to live somewhere that you don't like Just to save the relationship Or make the other person happy Or you're going to make yourself happy And live somewhere where you're comfortable And you enjoy it I'm not mad you chose yourself

00:03:41 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 5:

But don't you think she should have said something ahead of time Before she did it So that person could, you know, figure out what they're going to do because their living life is now up in the arms.

00:03:53 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 6:

I mean, KB, you tell us, sometimes you got to act quick. You might be in a situation where everybody wants to spot us a hot property. I got to activate.

00:04:01 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 2:

That was my fear because I've been looking, I mean, ever since I moved home. And lately it's been tough getting to work on time with how far I drive. And this place was perfect. I haven't been seeing, like, good locations within my price range, and this was perfect. It had everything. And so I feared that if we waited to find another place that would accommodate both of us, I wouldn't have all every box checked for what I needed to live. So I feared that I was going to lose that place if I waited any longer.

00:04:30 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 5:

I think that that's okay, all well and good, but at least lie.

00:04:35 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 3:

At least lie. What do you mean?

00:04:37 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 5:

Well at least do all the paperwork And all the money and all that stuff And then call them up and say You know what I really like this one bedroom But I want to talk to you about it ahead of time Make them feel at least like they had a decision in this Instead of I'm leaving you

00:04:52 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 2:

Gaslight them Is that what you're telling me?

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Well you know what sometimes in life It's not gaslighting unless they know that

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 2:

been gas lit i i i don't know and i get it you know it's it's hard nowadays to find places because a lot of times people need to take roommates because it's expensive out there it's tough

00:05:10 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

but you also said that you guys weren't serious like super serious about looking like she was

00:05:14 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 3:

like hey yeah it was like communication was skewed i was sending her the listening or the listings and so i felt like i mean i get like what kev said it's my life and i'm spending a ton on gas and I need to make this change for me. And so I didn't want to listen to someone else. I mean, you know, I would prefer to have a roommate, but then again, I mean, it's my life, you know?

00:05:39 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Did you guys talk about, like, hey, if I found a place just for me or you found a place just for you, like, that's totally cool? Or was that just left, like, gray? Like, this murky gray area?

00:05:48 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 3:

We'd only just said, like, hey, would you want to be roommates? So we didn't have anything, like, written down or contracted.

00:05:53 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

All right, this is big, this is big. KP and her friend were going to get an apartment together. They were going to be roommates. KP went to go look at the apartments by herself while her friend was thinking that KP was trying to find a place for both of them. KP found a place just for herself. Is she the a-hole?

00:06:17 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

I haven't heard this song in forever.

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Amanda?

00:06:24 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Mojo?

00:06:25 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey, is KP an a-hole?

00:06:29 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

If KP didn't tell the friend that she didn't like the two-bedroom, then yes. But if KP did tell them, then no.

00:06:39 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

So here's the plot twist. I sent her videos of the two-bedroom apartment before I put down the deposit, and she said that she hated it.

00:06:47 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh! Oh!

00:06:48 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 4:

Good.

00:06:48 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 1:

You need to clear. Okay, but that doesn't mean that you're out of the partnership of still finding a place together.

00:06:54 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're supposed to go look at another place. That's the sticky part. I didn't want to look for anything else because we didn't have anything lined up.

00:07:00 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 2:

How good of a friend is this?

00:07:01 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 3:

I have not spoken to her in eight years.

00:07:05 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're not going to speak to her for another eight years. She ain't coming to the house when we party. But I like how you were justifying this, and KP's even. I haven't spoken to her in eight years, so this will be. You're justifying it because you know why? Because you know that deep down inside there's a little bit of a-hole in there.

00:07:19 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. I'm going to say that I think I'm being an a-hole right now. But, again, it's my life.

00:07:26 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 2:

I think that the interesting thing is you didn't even look to see if there was other places. You just jumped on this one. Are you like this with boyfriends, too? Would you do this with, you know, if you guys were all out at a bar and she was interested in a guy, you were interested in a guy?

00:07:44 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm looking at Nellie. No, I'm not going to be with a guy if my friend is interested in him.

00:07:50 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

At all. You say that.

00:07:52 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 3:

Because there are so many men out there. It's so hard to find a good girlfriend. Why would I risk a relationship for a guy?

00:07:59 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm just making sure on that. I trust you on that one. Texters here saying, KP is not an a-hole. Believe me, I've tried to find places to live with my own family. We're thinking about splitting up because we can't find enough good places to live. Another texter here says, hey, Mojo, have you tried to find a place to live in a while? You should see how expensive it is out here. What's up, Diane? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey, good morning. Good morning. It's K.P. in a home.

00:08:27 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. No, absolutely not. And she said it herself because it betters herself for getting to work on time. I know how important that is. It's saving gas. And, girl, just got to do you. Don't worry about anybody else. I appreciate that.

00:08:44 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 2:

So does she owe at least this girl a call because she hasn't even told her yet?

00:08:49 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And just be completely honest And just tell her that You know what You get like the two legend place That I had you know liked But I found a place That I like and I'm going to go for it

00:09:05 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

Or lie to her And tell her you're staying with your grandparents

00:09:08 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 5:

That too I mean if you haven't been friends in eight years What are you losing

00:09:15 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to tell her that Mojo said it was okay

00:09:18 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I'm not disagreeing with you Just to be devil's advocate on this one here I think you should have at least called her Ahead of time, not that you needed to stay with her And just say to her, I'm going to get this place

00:09:29 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

I do agree with that You're not in the wrong department you wanted You just should have told her A little text

00:09:36 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Hey, it's fresh, she'll be fine Are you hoping that she's listening to the show And this is her way of knowing?

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I don't have to tell her in person

00:09:46 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:
