saturday night every time growing up we all had assigned seats at the kitchen table really yeah really like for company when you had company over yeah we knew where we would like add the chair and where they would sit yeah so did you have name tags no please don't have names but like i remember and he's my best friend but if i set my brother's seat i might get it's time i might get a little hit to the back that spine would be a little bit like ah we went to a we went to a friend's house

for a uh party and uh sat down at the table and was told that i had to get up and move because the spot was for one of their kids okay that was the spot where one of the kids would sit it's

crazy i admit that it's crazy i would do the same thing would you really yes because it had like if you throw that off you you don't know what else is going to be off so when you introduce this i

didn't know it was going to be like that because i will do that with smith's chair in particular if somebody sits in smith's chair i i very kindly ask them to move because his chair is disgusting no matter how many times i throw that the chair cover in the washing machine and so i i will say okay that one's smith's like anywhere else is this the same but i thought you meant like actual

assigned seating is this the same like your dad's lazy boy like nobody sits there that's his chair

all their spots on couch and stuff like that people have like that's the that's how they always sit and stuff okay like and i i've talked about this before on the air but i don't get why people will do this like i've talked i don't get why people will you know when they're inviting you over to your house will tell you certain things that you can't do and can do at their house including where you can sit and where you can't sit okay but can you tell people that they have to take off their shoes uh well that's kind of a very midwestern thing but can you uh yes i

think that you can have those rules so why can't i tell you where you have to sit i do think the

sitting is different i do to be fair i really do so do i but i still do it i'm i'm there i got a

spot in my couch that corner area that's mine i tell my mama to move really but like if we all

came over to your house and we were gonna watch a movie or something and megan was sitting in that

spot would you be like that's my spot move i would try to get there before everybody said oh Okay. The outro had me the first one to the couch. Well, and that's the thing.

I was one of them. I'm sorry. We walked in. We were like the first ones over there, and I'm thinking to myself, I don't even get the spot of where I want to go sit, to go sit around the table. The other thing.

that was weird and this to me was like crazy was we couldn't bring our drinks into the living room where the game was on tv we had to leave our drinks in the kitchen area or drink it in the kitchen area because they didn't want us no food or beverage in there was it all white well they have young no they have young kids and their kids have the rule that they can't bring food or drink out there so they didn't want the you know uh rate the whole idea of all of us in this you know okay he gets to do it but i can't get to do it do you think i'm crazy that i put a couch cover on my couch when people come over oh i think that's nuts that is craziness take the couch

cover you do okay here's the thing grandma no well here's the thing it is the most expensive piece of furniture i've ever bought in my entire life i i very much should not have bought this couch and i did and it's the best decision i ever made it's so cozy it is the best couch in the world and it is white and i i will put a cover on it when people come over see to me that defeats

the whole purpose of having this nice beautiful couch that you buy because you bought it to have your house look nice but then you cover it up when people come over but here's the thing if it costs

the same as my first couch which was an ikea couch and it was white i'd be like spill the red wine on it but this is an investment piece this will be passed down for generations i i want to know

the decorative blanket or when people move the pillows i hate that uh jessica says that she

We went over to, like, this apartment to just hang out, whatever, afterwards. And one of my friends, like, was about to, like, literally go in their pants, had to go so bad. And he sent them across the street to, like, a random 7-Eleven at, like, 2 o'clock in the morning to go to the bathroom because he would not let them go.

That's funny. If you're in my neighborhood and you need to use a toilet, I'm your guy. That is funny.

hi i was just wanting to call in about um people you know sitting in certain places my aunt and uncle they have their odor and they have their own seats on the couch on so when you go over to their house like you will not sit in their seat because they have like seat pillows they have like covers they have like back pillows and then like right next to the seat that's where you sit at They have, like, a little tabletop thing where they keep, like, their books and coffees. It's like their beds and nightstands about the couch. That's wild. It's been the same seat for the last, like, 10 years. Wow.

Oh, my God. So if you go over to their house right now, you know exactly where they are. And if they're not there, you're calling the police because there's something happening, right?

Absolutely. Absolutely.

That's great. But at a certain point, that's the thing. This couple, they're like 40-something years old. Young. 40-something-year-olds shouldn't do that. Megan should not be covering her couch. She's 30 years old. 30-year-olds shouldn't be doing crap like that.

That reminds me of my grandma. She had the plastic on her couch. Oh, my God. I would. My Italian grandma had plastic. You know what? Smart lady.
