00:01:39 - 00:02:22 | Speaker 3:

and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up arrolling. The instructor, first I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great. You know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway he pushed me to my limits so i think that made me choose drafting design at bishop state and stuck with it the sport's amazing all my instructors just want to see me succeed they want to push me to my limit they want to see me to be the best i can be get a job just be as successful as i can be and i really appreciate all of them with my degree as of right now my plan is to work for the city of mobile with their urban planning department and i've already got a job shadow before and hopefully i will internship over the summer you choose bishop we're welcome

00:02:22 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 6:

to have you any day ready to make your own bishop statement visit bishop.edu today and start building your tomorrow at bishop state community college tony i think somebody is uh i think somebody is

00:02:33 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 7:

hacked into our system here every single morning well actually not every morning it has happened like three times somebody takes over the controls here during a commercial break and uh and all of a sudden i can't control anything i don't know what the story is what do you think it is do you Do you think it's Russia? I think it's Russia.

00:02:52 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 8:

Collusion.

00:02:53 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 7:

Christmas pass. You think so? Here's what I think. I think it's one of two things. I'm either thinking it's the Russian or Chinese government that's doing it. Sorry about the commercials. Let's just blame the Russians and get back to the music. Yeah, there you go. Hold on. Or I think it's one of the guys from one of the rock stations or something that's doing it. Squabble up. Will you find out who it is? And then when we find out who it is, let's make them be our turkey and we'll shoot them like we shot the turkey last week. Okay. Can we do that? It's welcome back, by the way. It's good to see you. Did you have a good Thanksgiving? I did. Tony built the studio, did a great job. Amazing. You all right? What just happened, Megan?

00:03:35 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 8:

I just got in the ear. I was shocked so hard. I think my ear is bleeding. Oh, my God.

00:03:40 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 7:

Shocked how? How did you get shocked?

00:03:42 - 00:03:43 | Unknown:

Like an electrical shock.

00:03:43 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really?

00:03:44 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God.

00:03:45 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 7:

The static electricity got to you?

00:03:47 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 8:

That was insane.

00:03:49 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 7:

Maybe it was you that did this, and you're right on it.

00:03:54 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. That was crazy.

00:03:57 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 7:

Megan, better than even Kendrick Lamar. Yeah. Which, by the way, is a pretty great announcement to have this morning on the show. Incredible. A better announcement. Megan brought cookies in from home. Tony, have you tried any of her cookies? I have not yet. Try her cookies. Megan, share. Actually, no, no. Are you going to give them away or are you going to sell them?

00:04:18 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 8:

Both. So you have to come grab one of these, Tony. They are out of this world. Gingerbread cookies with cream cheese frosting. So hopefully you don't have any dairy problems because I do and I still eat these. I saw Megan making them on TikTok last night. Is that what you were doing?

00:04:31 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 7:

I don't have TikTok.

00:04:32 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

I always make them on TikTok so people know that I'm clean and how often I wash my hands and how often I wash my kitchen while I'm making them and all my dishes, especially because this round i made uh gluten-free ones too so i wanted to show how often i was uh washing all the gluten-free stuff so that mojo kp if she wants one uh don't get sick uh but i have an idea and i'd like to uh oh i'm gonna it's gonna happen again um okay

00:05:00 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 3:

Can I have my own version of Shark Tank really quickly here? Yes, go ahead. Sharks, welcome to my new business proposal. I would like to, under the permission of one mojo, possibly hold a bake sale at our Channel 955 Jingle Ball at Little Caesars Arena. Like in the concourse? Like in the concourse. I'm thinking that in order to promote my skills, and really, I think at this point, only reason why I still have a job is bribery with these cookies. I would like to share that with the public. And also, I need the money to buy Christmas presents this year. Wow. How much do you need? I'm Barbara. Oh, oh, just permission, which is fine. Just permission. I'm not asking for any monetary donations or income. I would like to, though, sell these at Jingle Ball.

00:05:56 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

What makes you think people would want to eat your cookies?

00:06:00 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

I think the pure... Well, quickly. I would eat your cookies. Thank you, Shannon. Tony, are they good?

00:06:06 - 00:06:07 | Unknown:

Very good, yeah.

00:06:07 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Tony would eat your cookies.

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 1:

Tony's already eating them.

00:06:11 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, were the gluten-free ones good?

00:06:13 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 1:

The gluten-free ones were spectacular, but we're still on Shark Tank here right now, and we've got to be tougher on you.

00:06:19 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 3:

No, because sometimes people bring in food products. Mr. Wonderful did like a cake in a jar company, okay? Sometimes the product speaks for itself, and I think this might be the case.

00:06:29 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

Are any proceeds going to breaking and entering? No.

00:06:33 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

These proceeds are going to me breaking my piggy bank because I'm broke. I'm out, I'm out. I'm still in. Can they be individually wrapped, though, because I don't want people's hands all up in that box. Let me tell you, I'm so angry because I ordered not only the plastic sealed sleeves, but also custom stickers. Are you joking? And they arrived last night, and I forgot to put them in today, and I was running late, so I just threw them in a Tupperware container because it's you guys. But I have them ready to go. I have them ready to go. All right. And again, I need the money. Okay. I need that drop. Help me.

00:07:09 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm poor. Here's the only thing that I can say. I can say this. I think people will buy these from you because they buy anything from a celebrity. And so I mean, think about that. They, you know, think of all the money that people spend on perfumes and crazy crap all the time of celebrities.

00:07:30 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:07:30 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 1:

All right. So I think they'll buy them from you. I do think that they're really good. Like they're excellent.

00:07:36 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

00:07:36 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

And I do think that Jingle Ball would be a great thing, but we may have some issues with the whole Little Caesars Arena people. but i think we can just ask for forgiveness and not permission i was worried about that right they can't kick me out right well if you sell them from the stage even better but i i have to do i'm there i have to do an ad we can make you can't we can make it a bit or something what's the name of

00:07:59 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 3:

your business you need a good business you've thought about this based on your face what i have too, but I'm in the process of getting some LCC information with somebody. LLC.

00:08:11 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

LLC. See, this is why I need professional help to do it. I don't even know what it is.

00:08:18 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

Alright, we gotta see if listeners would be interested. Carmen, would you be interested in purchasing Megan's cookies?

00:08:26 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

I absolutely would. I eat Meg's cookies anytime. Hey! Hey!

00:08:30 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that people would at Jingle Ball want this, or would this be a better thing that we sell out in front of a dispensary like that?

00:08:45 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

I think people would love to get them as a snack at Jingle Ball.

00:08:49 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Okay, because I got friends that puff cannabis. I can see what we can do about selling them out there. Can you imagine how much money Megan would make? Holy crap.

00:08:55 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she'd be a millionaire. People would have both.

00:08:58 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

Are you coming to Jingle Ball? Do you have your tickets yet?

00:09:02 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't.

00:09:03 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Get your tickets today at Ticketmaster.com so you could be part of Megan's cookie selling here or bake sale.

00:09:09 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. I'll go online. Or just to self-promote, maybe you have a wedding and you don't want to do cake. I can make your cookies.

00:09:17 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

00:09:18 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

That's a great idea.

00:09:19 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 1:

Is this something that you really want to do? Are you being serious?

00:09:22 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

No, genuinely. I would love to do like weddings or something so that I could do it on the side. Absolutely.

00:09:29 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 1:

Are you good with cakes? because I've tasted your cookies.

00:09:31 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm not good with cake. Cookies are my thing. I am so bad with cakes. It's not even funny.

00:09:36 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on, Courtney?

00:09:38 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Hi, work for a local grocery store. Pre-orders, Megan. Start taking orders now. Otherwise, it might show up with not enough or too many pre-orders.

00:09:49 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 1:

You know, what's worse, not enough or too many? I think too many is probably worse, right?

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

You could just bring them here the next time. Too many. If you don't have enough, you create demand for next time. but if you have too many

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 5:

kind of look like, oh, shoot, nobody likes my cookies, but coming up, I do marketing, so we can help you.

00:10:05 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 8:

Which grocery chain do you work with?

00:10:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't...

00:10:10 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 8:

Does it start with an M or a K or a T or an A, or what does it start with?

00:10:15 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 5:

N-H. They're the best grocery store in Bray Lopes.

00:10:20 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 8:

Oh, Holiday Market.

00:10:21 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 5:

Or Hollywood. Hollywood Market.

00:10:23 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 8:

One of the two.

00:10:25 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 5:

Holiday.

00:10:27 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 8:

We like those.

00:10:29 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 5:

We do Christmas pre-orders and Thanksgiving, and it's amazing. So if you guys need Christmas catering, holiday markets, where it's at. And a very cute event space.

00:10:40 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 8:

By the way, can I just mention that a good old-fashioned bake sale is always the greatest way that we ever raised money. Either this or selling those horrible, world's famous candy bars for our school stuff.

00:10:51 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 6:

Wait, I love those. Remember those? I bought a 60-pack of those from my friend's son the other day. Did you? Like, a case of them is 60 bars, and I love those terrible chocolate bars.

00:11:00 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 8:

What's up, Jennifer? How you doing?

00:11:02 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, guys.

00:11:04 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 8:

Hey, would you come to Megan's Bake Sale?

00:11:07 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I would come just to buy the cookies after the concert, bro.

00:11:12 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. That's when we're all hungry. Honestly, that's the time.

00:11:17 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 6:

And they think a car from Summit Place Kia was going to sell tickets. Oh, my God.

00:11:21 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 8:

By the way, you still had cookie in your mouth.

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 6:

I know. I ate that holding thing so fast.

00:11:26 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 8:

Shayna's like, is that a car? I'm sorry. I got cookies.

00:11:30 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 6:

That's so rude.

00:11:33 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 8:

What's up, Mike? How you doing?

00:11:35 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 9:

Good. How are you?

00:11:36 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 8:

Good, Mike. You want to buy some now?

00:11:40 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 9:

Listen, if they can be delivered to Grand Rapids or I can come and get them or, I mean, I don't know how much they are. Our shipping. Oh, yeah.

00:11:48 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 8:

What's the cost per cookie? Have you thought about shipping?

00:11:50 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, we have to cost per cookie. But maybe if you bulk order, I'll lower the price.

00:11:54 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 8:

What do you think it would cost you to make a dozen cookies? Like, Megan, what is it?

00:12:00 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 6:

Depends. Sometimes I use really good ingredients. Like a dozen? It probably cost me like 15 bucks.

00:12:07 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 8:

How much butter is in this thing? Because it is so... Don't ask.

00:12:10 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 9:

Don't ask. I would drive just to meet Megan. You don't even need to ship them.

00:12:16 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 8:

I love people. Oh, my God. How about she meet you in Lansing?

00:12:20 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 6:

And we'll meet up at a Motel 6.

00:12:22 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God.

00:12:24 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 9:

Oh, you use good ingredients in a Motel 6 that doesn't go together.

00:12:29 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but it's like, this is me trying to impress you, and then, like, this is the real me. You know what I mean? I'm the Motel 6.

00:12:36 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 8:

You know what they need to put in this building? Tony, we can probably work this. We need a kitchen, like, that they have on television, where it's like one of those show kitchens. Yeah. TV stations always make food. You could do cooking classes. Wouldn't that be great?

00:12:50 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 6:

I would love it.

00:12:51 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 8:

I would love that. More on this tomorrow. We're going to try to figure out if Megan can sell her cookies at the Jingle Ball on Tuesday night.

00:12:57 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 9:

Kev, you won't eat one, will you? No, he's not allowed.

00:13:00 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 8:

Maybe at Jingle Ball. Nope. Kev will only eat it if it's some hot Albanian girl at Kroger selling it. Yeah, with her dirty hands. Stumming it down. That's correct. Megan is really offended at that.

00:13:10 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 6:

I'm offended because you won't eat it because you think I'm dirty. And you've been to my apartment. See you tomorrow, guys. Bye.

00:13:17 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:
