All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. Bianca had a big moment happen to her. And what was that, Bianca?

So I finally moved out of my college apartment after eight months being graduated. Wait.

Do we applaud?

I thought you lived at home with your mom and dad. I do, but all of my stuff was there, but I was never there, really. I would go visit periodically throughout the year.

And that was up in East Lansing?

Yes. Go green? Go white, yes. But I finally moved everything out, packed all my stuff up, said bye to my apartment, and snipped it off.

That's it.

Wait, so you were still paying rent all this time, even though you weren't living there? Yeah, because I have this emotional attachment to it.

I can't hear it in your voice. You seem emotional.

I'm very sad about it. I don't know. So I've had my apartment for the last sophomore, junior, and senior year of college. That's where I lived.

You lived in that same place for that long.

Yeah, so I never moved out of it. And I told my parents are like, sublease it, have someone else live in it while you're home now. And I'm like, no, I can't do that. Like, I just did not want someone else living there. And I don't know why. I was like, I'm not really there anymore. But I'm like, I just had some emotional attachment to it where I couldn't let it go.

I actually still think that you should not have graduated early like you did. she graduated because she graduated winter and i feel like you didn't get all the pomp and circumstance that everybody gets when they graduate in the spring i do i do actually

regret it now but i'm i'm so grateful because i still got to do all these things and i wouldn't have been here where i am now if i didn't graduate early but like seeing all my friends graduate in may and stuff i was so sad because like my graduation wasn't like the same and all of then we're graduating and i was just it was a big thing but um i finally like just cut everything out and i feel like me finally moving out now is just like you're no longer yeah i'm solidifying my you're a grown-up yeah it was just like sad did you find stuff in there that you were like oh this is where that was yeah all my clothes those stuff i'm wearing right now too i'm like these were all

my clothes were at um did you ever go back there though because of i never remember you driving to east lansing versus driving out to the east side um i was i would sometimes go like i would sometimes

go and just pack up some more clothes and get small stuff but like i was always scared to like pack everything up and mom's like you just got to do it it's interesting that you live there for

that many years because luke's moving back to school and he's moving into yet again another place yeah his freshman year was a dorm his sophomore year he lived in the fraternity house now he's living in he's living in an apartment with like 20 other guys there it's an old sorority house that they're moving into are you kidding me yeah no so it's like literally 20 other

people there mine was like me and my one other roommate our own bathroom it was clean it was i

don't understand why not i actually even said to him chelsea and i said it to him but i i agreed that it was that was good i said there's a really that really nice apartment place that's down there in east lansing i'm like luke get a nice apartment there and live by yourself and he's like no he loves and he was the youngest at home by himself the whole time he loves living with a bajillion

guys that smell like crap and honestly i wish i did i wish i did what luke did too because i realized like when i

was up there i'm like oh i want the luxury of living in a nice area my own stuff but like i'm never he's never gonna have that experience again of like living with 20 guys in a crazy house it's like it doesn't matter and i wish i did that too but yeah so grateful for all of my experiences and where i lived but it's just like i had so many memories in there and like i'm never really gonna be living with like my friends again having my friends walk over down the hall whenever they want to it's just like sad memories and like really solidifies them like growing up did you knock on doors or are most of the people that were in those places i'd walk in like straight

up walk in their apartment are they still up there though are most people move back to where they're home or is like the place that you lived in was it a place with just college students

yeah it was and like a lot of my friends still live there like i look at their like snapchat locations and they're all there and i'm like oh yeah but i mean like last year i was in east lansing for the summer so i feel like i got that experience of living in college in the summer

what is east lansing like in the summertime i feel like it's just it closes down everything

anything um no it's kind of dead but like i had my little group of friends we'd always hang out and it was like so fun and i'm just like i just miss it like do you guys ever miss college

do you ever miss it well i was too dumb i didn't go to college i do that's such a fun time and i lived in a sorority house for most of it with you know 70 other girls yeah i would never want to do

that yeah when i actually was gonna rush a sorority and i went to go tour the houses and stuff and it was like a big room of like 20 beds and they're all just like we sleep in the same dorm. That's what we did. I was like, I would

never do that. 72 of us in one room. That's gross. That's gross. That sounds like a dream. 72 of us all slept

together in one room. Doesn't that sound like a dream? 72 girls in one place. Oh, yeah. And they all

like bunk beds and they're all like, yeah. Pillow fights? How many pillows? 24-hour cold, 24-hour dark, 24-hour quiet.

How big is this room? Hey, y'all's in prison. By the way, yeah, there wasn't. 72? It was actually really nice. Bianca, I hate to tell you this, but you're now old i'm not as old as you you have now officially come over to the other side you're no longer the college girl anymore i know it's kind of sad so are you gonna live at home for

a while is that your plan or are you gonna try to get an apartment around here so i was actually

like here's the thing i don't want to rent an apartment because i feel like it's kind of a waste of money i'm not gonna lie sorry kevin i don't want to yeah i love what i'm doing but i want to buy an apartment or buy like a condo and then like either rent it out if i'm ever not going to use it down the line or whatever but i saw a couple of them over here so i'm like maybe but i still love living at home like my parents cook for me they clean the house i don't got to do

anything besides go to sleep if you want the college life why don't you go and uh move into

like right around wayne state or u of d like that's not real college life out there i'm not

gonna lie oh you better be careful the wayne state people are gonna get lydia are you gonna get mad

So why is that not real college life?

Because it's not, like, I went to a Big Ten school. Like, there was a lot of stuff going on over there. At Wayne State, there's, like, a Tigers game every once in a while, and that's it. How do you know that? Because I work in Detroit, Kevin. I know what goes on around here.

You don't go to Wayne State, though. You don't know what life is like for them people over there.

No, I actually was about to go to Wayne State, but I didn't go there. Because I was only going to go for my ex-boyfriend.

Oh.

And then I actually put my deposit down on everything. I said I was going to go, and then I was like, no, I'm not going to do that.

Aren't you so glad that you went to Michigan State?

Yeah, but.

I wish I would. When I see my son at school, it makes me wish I went to college. I wish I went to Michigan. Really? Well.

But I didn't get in there. So Michigan State was my backup.

Every time I drive through Ann Arbor and I'm hanging out in Ann Arbor, I realize I'm too dumb to even figure out how to parallel park. You know what I mean? Like, I feel like I'm smart enough to get into Michigan State if I wanted to get into

michigan state but i couldn't everybody gets into michigan state now that's everybody gets in it doesn't matter you have like a 2.0 gpa and you're getting it come on really yeah but then you gotta go back and apply to the colleges and that's what that's what they get you i thought

everybody gets into lansing community college they're getting everywhere now it's all about money it's all scam bianca uh do you know what's funny is i remember when we went up for that broadcast at the fraternity house during the michigan michigan state game like a year and a half ago or whatever it was two years ago i remember we parked at bianca's house do you remember that no we went by we tried yeah well bianca's bianca's house was right behind that fraternity house that we were at that the kids were hanging off the fire escape yeah uh i remember that that party was nice that's where i had my first borg that's right yeah we gotta do that again this year we have to i'm with it terry what's up it's mojo in the morning hi bianca's a grown-up now she moved out of her college apartment hi how are you i didn't even go away

to school and i miss college every single day of my life do you where'd you go yes um i did undergrad at university of michigan dearborn and um got my graduate degree in social work from wayne state university i just like being in college i am not the best student but i like to learn and um once you graduate then you have to be a real world adult and i don't like that i don't like it at all that's

something else too i'm like i feel like i still have to keep learning things i feel like now it's on my own though i don't just get to go to class and learn things i have to do it myself which is

crazy what's it like bianca to now move to a real refrigerator instead of one of those mini fridges Did you have a mini fridge?

No. I didn't have a real fridge.

Oh, in an apartment you did?

Yeah, it sucks to be at home.

Because that's when you know you're in college, when you have a mini fridge like we have underneath our control board here. I never had a mirror.

Five cubic feet or something. It has to fit in a certain space.

And you're sleeping on a futon.

It was a brick. It wasn't comfortable.

Chelsea was trying to get Luke's stuff all together for his place because he literally has to bring all the stuff up now. It's not like how dorms were where you had to bed and frame and you had, you know, all the other stuff. Or 70. Yeah, or 70. So now she has to go and get him stuff. I'm like, what about his mattress, you know, that he had from last year? She's like, no, it's just all it is is a mattress topper or something like that. Now he has to actually have a mattress. I'm like, this stuff is getting expensive. What's up, Jordan? How you doing?

I think it's kind of funny that she doesn't want to get an apartment because she doesn't want to waste money. but had a apartment she didn't live in for three years

yeah it makes no sense does it

I'm not going to lie I'm going to shop my parents for that one they covered that cost but I would be covering the cost but I won't do that again to them or to myself

Jordan do you know that Bianca's dad has given her an ultimatum that she only has what a year and a half left

Yeah, if I'm not married by, or I have to be kicked out of the house by 25 and married by that age. That is wild. They're already trying to arrange marriage me. It's crazy.

Of course she's trying to kick her out. Yeah. I'm a kid. I've been pregnant for three years.

I'm a great kid. They love me there.

No, I was like you. I went to community.

Yeah. So I commuted back and forth, and it was not as fun as all my friends who went away to like big schools like bianca says the big 10 schools uh what's up uh suzanne what's going on

suzanne yeah bianca's clueless absolutely clueless so my my stepdaughter got a 385 captain of a sports team national honor society and waitlisted at michigan state yeah it's tough

to get in no that honestly pisses me off that michigan kids get waitlisted from michigan and michigan state and uh they've got like that you're a 4.0 student and you're getting wait-listed

that's seriously ridiculous from michigan state too like if people i know michigan state is a

good school it's a hard school to get into except it's raised 80 you know alabama is the one that's easy to get in yes that is true they want anybody all those southern schools and stuff like that no it's hard it's it's tough it's tough getting into any school nowadays suzanne it's ridiculous that they make it tough for these kids i i it's funny because when i applied to school i got accepted to uh none of the schools locally but i got accepted to wisconsin madison and somebody somebody goes you're really smart you got accepted there but i think they only they have like a thing where they all these schools they'll accept so many kids from so many areas because they want to make their schools yes yeah like state diverse you were a diversity hire i was a diversity hire That was a Cubano coming from Chicago Alright well Bianca I think Bianca's looking for a place to live So if you're somebody that Want a roommate Why don't you and Lydia move in together If she doesn't kill me How about you Lydia Her mom would cry if she moved out
