Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:01:19 - 00:01:23 | Speaker 8:

All right. I like it. Let's get the Dirty on the 30 for us right now. What's going on, Shannon?

00:01:23 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 4:

Big breaking news overnight. Thousands of anti-ice protesters stormed L.A.'s famous 101 freeway, blocking lanes, gridlocking traffic. I mean, people were sitting there for hours and hours trying to get to where they were going. But yesterday. Burning cars again, too. Yeah, demonstrators were real violent with the LAPD and the California Highway Patrol throwing fireworks, bottles, concrete. Like you said, they were setting fire specifically to a lot of Waymo self-driving taxis. And law enforcement responded. Police deployed tear gas, rubber bullets, flashbangs. At least 20 or 30 arrests were made. Officers admitting they were very overwhelmed. President Trump ordering 2,000 National Guard troops to L.A. illegal migrants arrested in L.A. included sex abusers, drug dealers, gang members. Here's the president.

00:02:14 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 6:

Well, we're going to have troops everywhere. We're not going to let this happen to our country. We're not going to let our country be torn apart like it was under Biden.

00:02:21 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 4:

And really what tipped this off on Friday, nearly 45 people were busted by ICE as officers swept through two different Home Depot stores, a business in the L.A. Fashion District and a donut shop. So that's what triggered these riots to happen. A lot of California officials, including Governor Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, calling the move unconstitutional and telling people to please just stay calm.

00:02:50 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 2:

We do not want to play into the administration's hands. We're working with officials. We're organizing resources. But what we're seeing in Los Angeles is chaos that is provoked by the administration. When you raid Home Depot and workplaces, when you tear parents and children apart, and when you run armored caravans through our streets, you cause fear and you cause panic.

00:03:13 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 8:

They're mad, obviously, at the ICE bus, but they're also mad at them for sending the National Guard in. And they said that it's the first time that a president has overridden a governor for calling in the state's National Guard. And since back in the days when the Selma incident took place where they were doing that because the police were arresting, you know, decades and decades and decades, you know, nonviolent people. But this is violence like there's like there's craziness going on there. And I saw this this morning. I want to play for you real quick. This is the police chief of L.A. who is hired by the mayor in L.A. speaking out, basically saying they need help, that there's not enough help there.

00:04:06 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 7:

The violence that we're seeing, this violence that I've seen is disgusting. It's escalated now since the beginning of this incident. What we saw the first night was bad. What we've seen subsequent to that is getting increasingly worse and more violent. Tonight we had individuals out there shooting commercial-grade fireworks at our officers. That can kill you. And we have adapted our tactics to be able to have a chance to be able to take these people into custody and to be able to hold them accountable. We are overwhelmed as far as the number of people out there engaged in this type of activity and the type of things that they're doing. They'll take backpacks, and the backpack will have a cinder block in it. They have a hammer and they'll break up the cinder block and use that, pass it around to throw at officers.

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

They were worried about last night getting dark because they were worried that it was going to get even worse.

00:05:00 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 5:

I watched some of the video this morning when I woke up, and it seemed like it kind of made everybody kind of go, but it's still crazy. Scary. Wow.

00:05:09 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

So I have not heard this name in a minute, but actor and singer Jared Leto is in the dirty this morning, and not for a good reason at all. He is facing some serious allegations from nine women who are all accusing him of inappropriate behavior, including a story that he was pursuing teenage girls and using his celebrity status to do so. These claims span years, and they include disturbing details of really predatory conduct. He would allegedly proposition the girls, and then he would sexually harass them, and he was trying to invite them to various house parties, knowing full well they were underage. He did release a statement over the weekend denying all of the allegations. Miley Cyrus opening up about her drug use and how she used to hide it from everybody in her life including randomly her

00:05:57 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 4:

accountant the drugs were the biggest the drugs were the biggest cost yeah which to um hide those from my accountant we called them vintage clothes and so she would get these checks on touring all the time thousands of dollars worth of vintage clothes and every time she saw me she'd be like Where's that like $15,000 original John Lennon t-shirt that you bought?

00:06:20 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Also over the weekend, Miley at the Tribeca Film Festival to premiere her visual album. It's called Something Beautiful. And I don't know where they got this idea, but the fans who were there were expecting a concert. And so some of them were like, we paid $800 a ticket and she's just sitting up here talking. So they start heckling her and listen to what happens.

00:06:39 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

Are you actually going to sing? Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please stop you're not saying pacified that situation really well and lastly this was a big story over
