Breaking and entering Christmas wish year after year is so awesome to be able to pull off. And I will tell you this, I get nervous before each one of these because I want to make sure that they're perfect for everybody. On the phone with us is our little elf. You can tell, especially in the wish that we're going to grant today for a lovely young lady that our listeners probably are going to know because many people in the Allen Park community, they are fond of this young lady. Her name is Ellie. She's 16 years old from Allen Park High School, and we're going to grant a wish for her. Aunt Renee is on with us right now. Aunt Renee, are you there? I'm here. How are you doing? Are you excited for this too? I'm excited and nervous. I know. All right, so Mike's going to hang back with all of our wish elves that we have there, our truckloads of people. you're going to walk up to the door and you're going to ring the doorbell so that we can make an entrance and be able to, to talk to Christie and Ray and then Ellie and of course her brother, Sam. dear mojo in the morning breaking and entering christmas wish my name is amanda browning and i am an allen park public school teacher i would like to nominate elizabeth ellie lost for this year's breaking and entering christmas ellie lost is a 16

year old student that lives in Allen Park, Michigan, with her mom, her dad, and her younger brother, Sam. Earlier this year, Ellie and her family received the news that no family is ready for. Ellie had a brain tumor. Ellie and her family have gone to many different doctor's appointments and have had assistance from doctors all over the country. She had brain surgery in August, a round of infertility treatments to keep her eggs viable for the future, and two rounds of chemotherapy. The family just learned that she is not responding to treatment at this point. This is devastating to her friends, family, and school community. Mojo, Ellie is an incredible kid with many friends and family in the Allen Park community. Before her diagnosis, Ellie was on the Allen Park swim team and Allen Park tennis team. Unfortunately, even school is a challenge for her at this point due to the weakness from her treatment. Mojo, please, please consider Ellie and her family for a wish this year. we received so many letters about your family and Ellie and they all said something similar to that that she's a ray of light, she's a ray of sunshine she's so positive, she's so wonderful so I feel like we know a lot about her, she's a pretty

amazing young woman she's a very subtle girl

and I hope that the whole family is going to be okay with this, but we call it breaking and entering Christmas wish because we literally want to break into your house and bring Christmas to your home this year.

And it just speaks volumes to your family, Christy, and how many people have been affected by your positivity as you go through the challenge and the fact that, I mean, Ellie didn't let this bring her down. Ellie, we've heard from teammates and teachers alike, and everybody says the same thing. She's just been unbelievable through this whole process, and the whole family has been, and that's why everybody's here to support you right now and to show you an incredible Christmas.

You and your mom are going to have a really cool mom and Ellie experience where you guys are going to go see Hamilton. And we have something cool then for your brother, because Ellie, your brother's been really strong for you, too, hasn't he? Can you explain how Sam Sam's been a pretty amazing young man? First off, how old is Sam? He's 13. He's 13 years old. And I understand that, Sam, you had an injury just before the football season. Is that right?

Yes, when it first started.

And you didn't let that get you down because you saw what your sister was going through. And you didn't want that to be anything that made Ellie not feel great. So you kind of just did your rehab and tried to make sure that you're okay. So we want to do something cool for you and your dad. we're sending you guys with some great tickets to go see the Detroit Lions play

And if there was time together as a family, it was usually in waiting rooms and doctor's offices. And you just get robbed of time together to really just enjoy a night out. So that's why we got Hamilton and that's why we got Lions tickets. And that's why we're also going to send you, Christy, with your husband out on a date night. Make sure you guys get a little quality time. And then the whole family, we got a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We are sending you on a date of your choosing to make sure you guys can escape for a little bit.
