Big thank you to our Breaking Night and Christmas Wish angels from Imagine Theater. Our good friend Paul and Anthony, Nick, love those guys so much. Also, Frank Toma, Jay Jennings over at Clean View Auto Wash, love you guys so much. And then Cookie, Brian Cook over at Red Robin, we love you so much. So they really made Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish possible, being able to grant wishes, not just in the Detroit area, but also Grand Rapids and Toledo, too, our entire listening area.

00:03:04 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 2:

It's only because those sponsors you just named donated tens of thousands of dollars each. Amazing. I know.

00:03:10 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 6:

And more keeps coming in. Yeah. I mean, that's the craziest. They keep saying to us, they're like, hey, we got more. Hey, I only got more. It's like unbelievable. This morning, we're granting a Christmas wish in Toledo. We go to Mike right now. Mike, you are with Grandma. Yes, and Grandpa. And Grandpa. Hi, Renee. Renee, we've met, but I haven't met Grandpa. What's Grandpa's name? Terry. How you doing, buddy? I'm good. I'm good. Excited. I know. I know. By the way, Renee, you got Kleenex in your pockets?

00:03:43 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 8:

I do.

00:03:44 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 6:

I knew you would.

00:03:46 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 8:

Or up your sleeves. Grandmas usually have it up their sleeves. Do you know what else she brought? She brought up treats. She baked us cookies and Buckeyes and all sorts of stuff.

00:03:56 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I hope you're bringing those back to the studio.

00:03:58 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:03:59 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 1:

I brought a whole lot.

00:04:00 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 8:

Okay, good.

00:04:00 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 6:

You're the best. We love you so much, and you know what? We love your daughter, and we're going to love on your daughter this morning. Okay, guys?

00:04:05 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 8:

Oh, we appreciate it so much.

00:04:07 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 6:

All right. Hang on. Let's send Grandma up to the door. Okay, Mike, with your phone.

00:04:13 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 7:

Yep, yep. We're here.

00:04:14 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Knock on the door.

00:04:18 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 7:

Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

00:05:25 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

00:05:26 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 2:

Hi, we woke you up this morning, huh?

00:05:29 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:05:30 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 2:

Hey, we have something special for you today. We received a beautiful letter about you and your two babies for our breaking and entering Christmas wish. And your beautiful mom is going to read you that letter, okay?

00:05:47 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 4:

All right. Dear Mojo in the morning, my name is Renee Wysocki, and I'm writing to you to nominate my daughter, Melissa, for your breaking and entering Christmas wish. Melissa is an amazing single mom with two young children. Unfortunately, my incredible daughter suffers from MS. She does her best to work and take care of her kids and get through each and every day. But recently, she had a relapse and ended up in the hospital. And this relapse was so bad that her neurologist has advised her to rest at home and not go back to work until February. That news was devastating to her, as she desperately needs this job to keep food on the table and a roof over her family's heads right now. And to make matters even worse, the company she works for let her go. Melissa currently has a furnace that isn't working either, and she's behind on her mortgage. Christmas for my grandchildren is just not going to happen, and I know you can make it happen, Mojo. Please make this little family's Christmas a magical one. Thank you and sincerely, Renee.

00:07:12 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Your loving mother and, of course, your loving father wanted to make sure that you and their grandbabies are taken care of this Christmas, and that's why we're granting a Christmas wish for you this morning, Melissa.

00:07:31 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

00:07:32 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

We're bringing Christmas to your house.

00:07:35 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 3:

That's the one thing.

00:07:37 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

First off, how are you feeling? How are you doing?

00:07:41 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 3:

I have my days. I have my days. Still very weak.

00:07:46 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

I know it's got to be tough, but you stay strong for those children, don't you?

00:07:50 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yes.

00:07:51 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe that being out on disability like this, that a work would do that to you, too. That's just awful during the holidays. Well, we're coming together as a community. We know how strong everybody in Toledo are about protecting their own, and that's why we're going to protect you, and we're going to make sure that we bring Christmas in. And, Mike, you got all kinds of good gifts that we can carry into that house?

00:08:20 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we've just lined the living room floor with Christmas gifts for you. Why don't you come take a look right over here?

00:08:34 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 2:

There's so much there. Mike, tell everybody what we got today.

00:08:40 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 5:

Why don't we let the queen of all this tell you? Lydia, what do we have here for the little ones?

00:08:45 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 3:

We have a lot of goodies. So I know AJ's been saving up for a digital clock. So we got him his very own digital clock. We got here a Nintendo Switch. We have Minecraft linkets. We have some Minecraft games for the Switch.

00:09:07 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

And that's all just for Austin. And there's so much more in there, too, for Austin. Austin's eight years old. Austin, your baby, Do you cuddle with your baby all the time on the couch?

00:09:18 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 5:

Yes, of course.

00:09:19 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:09:20 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 1:

It's so cute that he was saving up for his own alarm clocks. He liked the idea of setting his own clock and being responsible.

00:09:28 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 5:

They told me a story when we first got here that his school is around the corner from the house, and he's so excited to get to school but didn't have a clock. So he thought he was late one day, and he left an hour early.

00:09:40 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 3:

It was like an hour early, and it was raining out.

00:09:43 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 5:

They couldn't find him, and he was at the school, but this is going to help so much.

00:09:47 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Wow. We didn't forget about Tiara. Lydia, what do we got for Tiara?

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Tiara, we have some goodies for you. We have an iPad. She loves art.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 8:

We got her her very own art set, an easel, some paint. We got her some candles. I heard she loves a nightmare before Christmas, so I definitely bought her a sock calendar set. We got her that. And we got her some book sets for Harry Potter and Anna.

00:10:15 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 6:

That's amazing.

00:10:16 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 8:

She'll never be bored.

00:10:17 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 6:

Wow. And Melissa, we didn't forget about you because we know with battling MS, it's got to be a struggle just to try to stay comforted. So we wanted to make sure that we took care of you with some comforting items.

00:10:29 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we have all the household goods you so desperately need, but also we're going to give you a lot of personal care items to spoil you. And I'm not going to get into the whole list. There's a lot of things, personal usage things and candles and comfort things and then slippers. But Xfinity is going to give you a laptop so you can also work from home while you're on bed rest and also keep track of those kitties in school and do all the things you need to do.

00:10:53 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 10:

And we know that you're behind on some bills, and we can't let that be the case this Christmas. So we are going to write you a check for $2,500, and hopefully that's going to help with some of those bills, and we'll get you all caught up with your mortgage.

00:11:13 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 6:

And Megan, that's coming from our good friends. I want to introduce you to some great folks that are unbelievable advertisers of our station, 92.5 KISS FM. Jay Foster Jewelers. Phil, Stan, and Anthony
