Welcome to the Mojo The Mojo in the morning show This is the Mojo Mojo in the morning show We are Mojo Mojo in the morning show Friday's on Mojo Mojo in the morning show Yeah

00:01:50 - 00:01:54 | Speaker 5:

I lost it there for one second Allison, I was like, hold on a second

00:01:54 - 00:01:55 | Speaker 2:

Thank God it's Friday

00:01:55 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 5:

Thank God it is Friday. Yes, please. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, hold on. I was supposed to hit a hallelujah at that one. Instead, the mom went off. All right. Screw that. Sorry. Got a good show for you today. Throwbacks coming up here this morning. Obviously, you just heard some, but throwback throwdowns coming up, so we'll be playing that. Concert tickets, lots of them. I have a question I need to ask. This is one for all of the people out there that are just weird. If you're one of these weird people, will you call us up? So we went and grabbed a lunch with a buddy of mine and his kids. He said, hey, you want to meet out? And I'm like, yeah, no problem. So I went to this place, and, you know, he's got kids that are young enough where he's got to have diaper bag and thing. So we walk in, eat our food. The guy orders like a maniac for little, little kids. And then at the end of our meal, the waitress brings over the check, and she says, hey, do you want to wrap this stuff up? And he goes, yeah, no, no, don't worry about it. And I'm going, okay, no problem. I was going to leave all the stuff. I'm like, it's such a waste, but the kids don't eat much. He gets into his bag and pulls out not Tupperware, step up from Tupperware, Pyrex dishes. dishes. Those glass fancy dishes. Pyrex Mike are the glass container Tupperwares and they have like a plastic topping that goes on top and it goes like seals. My grandma would send me home with this if we ever went over for dinner.

00:03:39 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 2:

I bet you she didn't because you don't give that to other people.

00:03:44 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 5:

And you'd never bring it back to grandma, right?

00:03:46 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 2:

Right, right, right.

00:03:47 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 5:

It was the only thing you inherited from your ground. Yes. But he brings his out. He starts pulling us off out. And I'm looking at it. And I'm going, okay, what's going on here? And he's, like, wrapping up everything, the chicken fingers and the fries. And he's putting them all, like, nicely and neatly and stuff. And he puts it all down in there. And I'm looking at it going, wow, this is really kind of, like, pretty how he wraps this thing up. And I said to him, I go, what is that all about? And he goes, I don't like Styrofoam. And I said, really? And he goes, yeah. He goes, because the problem is then I got to transfer the styrofoam to the Pyrex if I go home. And warm it up. Or I got the styrofoam and I got to warm it all up and stuff. He is right. I mean, that's pretty impressive for a man to do something like that, right? I mean, that seems like something that you would see, like I said to him, an 80-year-old woman do like Mike's grandma.

00:04:34 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 2:

Yes. You know? Yes. It does have a point, though. But then you got to, that stuff's heavy. And you're already carrying a diaper bag and a baby, I'm assuming, in a car seat. Yeah. That's a lot. It's a strong man. That is, he is very dedicated to saving the environment.

00:04:50 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

But, well, it's, like I said, I said, wow, this is the saving the environment thing. He goes, no, it's just the whole transfer thing. But he is saving the environment, so that's nice. But I want to know, are there.

00:05:00 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 2:

any people are there any people that bring tupperware to a restaurant do you go to a restaurant and you bring the tupperware with you like do you walk in and you know have it in your purse or where is it that you you carry this stuff because i thought that that was like so odd to see that and if you didn't have children that were young enough to actually have to have like a bag to carry around with, what would you carry? A nurse. Mia, what's happening?

00:05:31 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

I do that all the time. Oh, really? All the time. I bring in my glass Pyrex all the time because I never eat it and the styrofoam, you can't microwave it either, so if you go home and you need to microwave it, then you can just put it right with the

00:05:45 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 2:

glass. So basically, you are already saying to yourself, I'm not eating all my food, which is something that I just can't conceive of too, so

00:05:52 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because then you have a meal later

00:05:55 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, see I'm usually the person that never has leftovers afterwards So maybe that's why it's so odd to me

00:06:00 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

No, I always love ordering a lot of food

00:06:03 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I always laugh by the way Whenever I see people do things at their tables Like have you ever done this before, Mia? I saw a table about a month and a half or so ago That brought their own condiments Oh, I don't do that They didn't like the ketchup that the Coney Island had and all of a sudden this lady pulls out of her purse a Heinz ketchup bottle and puts it on the table.

00:06:27 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 4:

I got to tell you, though, sometimes the ketchup is bad. And I wish I had my own. And the ranch.

00:06:32 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 2:

Sometimes a good ranch changes the whole meal.

00:06:34 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I'm not opposed to that.

00:06:36 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

I always think that's kind of funny when people do that. Now, I have a gluten allergy, so there are times where Chelsea will say, why don't you bring gluten-free crackers with you or something like that? Yeah. And I feel like, eh, it's weird.

00:06:48 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 4:

I carry hot sauce.

00:06:49 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

You bring your hot sauce?

00:06:50 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 4:

I carry hot sauce. Do you really? Oh, yeah, you do. I've seen you do that, yeah.

00:06:53 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't know. It just seems, don't you find it odd that you, you know, have to carry that around with you?

00:06:59 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 1:

No, because when Beyonce sang, I got hot sauce in my bag, I sang. Made it okay. I also have hot sauce in my bag.

00:07:07 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 2:

One of my favorite things of going out to eat is just to see the oddities that happen at tables next to me. And I think we should do this And we should tape it And we should post it up on our social media But we should all go get a table At the least fanciest restaurant in town Pull out a tablecloth Put it on

00:07:29 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, our own silverware, wine glasses

00:07:31 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

Just start pulling everything out of the whole thing And just see what the people go What the hell? And just get the video reaction But it's got to be none of us doing it Because if anybody sees us on social media We just got to grab Who could we grab here from the building that would just be weird enough, you know, to be able to do something like that and pull something like that off? Maybe that guy from sales, Megan, that you guys, or Don, yeah, Don. Don will be perfect. Don here, or what's the guy's name in sales that I always say to you? Tim. Tim, we're going to have Tim from Toledo sales, too. That would be perfect. Natalia, what's going on?

00:08:04 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I have something to add to that. My dad is a coffee connoisseur. He hates coffee from a breakfast restaurant So he'll bring his own coffee And make it at the table With a little scale And everything to make sure that it's all good

00:08:20 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, does he do the drip coffee That you gotta wait 10 minutes for it to go?

00:08:26 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he'll do it all while we're waiting for our food

00:08:28 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing That's funny though That he just pulls it out You know what, can he go hang out with Don And all the other people that we have Doing this thing for us?

00:08:39 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's so funny. He loves it, though.

00:08:42 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

I wonder what servers think when they walk up and see that. You know what I mean?

00:08:45 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm so embarrassed.

00:08:47 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Do they ever say anything to you? Or do they ever ask if they could try the coffee?

00:08:52 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 1:

No, but they're impressed with him. They're like, dang, you are a dedicated dude.

00:08:57 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for the call. I appreciate it. Joe, you bring your own ranch when you go out to eat? Yeah, well, only to the foreign colonies in Detroit, you know. Yeah? What's your favorite ranch? What do you use? Hidden Valley. Hidden Valley.

00:09:10 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Yep.

00:09:11 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:09:12 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 5:

Can't go wrong with that, man.

00:09:13 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

It's got to be thick Hidden Valley. Like, it can't be runny Hidden Valley, you know?

00:09:17 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 5:

No, that's the nastiest thing ever. Extra creamy.

00:09:20 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:09:21 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no.

00:09:23 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 2:

By the way, this won't be the last time I say extra creamy this morning. No, I don't know.

00:09:27 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 5:

I ain't got to put a pause on that, bro.

00:09:30 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 2:

All right. Done. Pause. Have a great weekend, buddy. You do the same. Take care. Bye.
