All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. So I want to call out my son, Joe, and I'm going to call him out for something right now that drives me crazy. I got a chance to drive in his brand new red, iHeart red Chevy Blazer that he bought from Gordon Chevrolet.

00:02:48 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Red.

00:02:49 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he got a red one. It's honest. Can I be honest? I thought it was going to look douchey. It's really cool. Yeah. I really worried about it. I was like, oh, God. I told Mona. I said, Mona, don't sell him that.

00:03:01 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 2:

He wanted red or was that what they gave him? No, he wanted red.

00:03:04 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 5:

He saw a red one and he thought it looked really, really cool. And I'm one of those people. Every car I own is black. I buy black cars. So this one's red. It's gorgeous. And the blazer is fantastic. It makes me almost want my lease to be up on my Tahoe so that I can do that because it was really cool to see all the room that it had inside. So long story short, it's me, Joe, Jed, Tony Travato, and Tony's son, Christopher, and we're driving to the game. And as we're driving to the game, Tony Travato pulls out a bag of snacks, and I have a bottle of water. And I get ready to go drink it, and Tony gets ready to eat some of his snacks. Joe stops the car and says, there's no eating or drinking in my car.

00:03:51 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 3:

No, I hate people like that. Really?

00:03:54 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 5:

He's got car rules. I don't know. And this is funny because this is the same guy that as a kid has eaten more McDonald's in my car. I probably still have French fries still underneath my seats. And threw up in a brand new lease that I had in my car. And you never throw up in a lease you're about to turn in. You throw up in the three-year lease that you have the month that you get the car. And I could never get the smell out of the damn thing.

00:04:22 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 7:

Well, this is a life milestone, right? When somebody in their 20s finally can afford with a job to get their own first brand new car, you finally have the respect for property that your parents tried to instill upon you for decades because now you realize how much money it costs you want to take care of.

00:04:39 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 5:

Are you a person, because you're a very clean person, but do you let people drink or eat in your Kia?

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

They can until they violate some sort of, if they really mess it up, then they lose the privilege. but i'll let them up front but when i see what my daughters do to their cars it drives me crazy yeah it looks like they live in their car i was gonna say you could never throw anything away

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 5:

I'd eat a meal off the floor of my car right now.

00:05:01 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 6:

You'd find enough crap from the kids to have a full lunch.

00:05:06 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 2:

I'd be too scared to eat in your car, Spike. Your car is way clean. Yeah. Oh, yeah. One of the cleanest cars I've ever seen.

00:05:13 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 1:

I'm OCD about keeping it clean, but I don't mind if you eat in it unless you're spilling stuff into the seats because they have the little perforated dots for the heated seats.

00:05:22 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Even if I ate in there and I dropped the fry and I couldn't find the fry, that fry is gone. I'm never telling you.

00:05:27 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 4:

I would never tell you that I dropped the fry in there. When he drove you to lunch, and you guys, remember that whole incident where you guys went to the wrong place? No, I don't remember. I do. Did you just sit there and look around his car thinking to yourself, I can't even get a fingerprint on the handle or anything?

00:05:42 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't have toddlers. I'm in a different place than, I expect Mike and Shannon to have messy cars.

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It was very clean. I was very impressed.

00:05:50 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 1:

I like keeping it that way, but I don't mind. One time I spilled Starbucks in the seat of my car. I went to get the whole show Starbucks. I took a turn too fast. A whole venti latte went into the seat. And for the next four years, whenever you turn the seat warmer on, it cooked sour milk. And the sour milk smelled for years. And I paid so much money for a detailer to try and take the seat apart to clean it. And it just can't be cleaned. So that's why I get a little antsy about it.

00:06:22 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 4:

You've got to call us up if you have car rules. Do you have rules about what people can do and can't do in your car? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. My son Joe is actually at Disney World right now. They're doing a promo where they just got a chance to ride the brand new Tron ride.

00:06:40 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what?

00:06:41 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I hate that. The radio stations in Florida got a chance to do it. He's probably on it.

00:06:45 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 6:

He's not going to answer your phone call. Who are you kidding?

00:06:47 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 4:

You think he's on a ride right now? Should I call Jed and Ashley and see if they answer my phone?

00:06:52 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 1:

One of those amazing buffets having a Mickey waffle right now.

00:06:55 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 4:

See, we never get these trips Because J Towers gets them They put them up in a nice hotel Are you sleeping?

00:07:04 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm just rolling out of bed Wait a second They were having Mickey cocktails last night I saw them out late having cocktails

00:07:10 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 4:

You guys didn't do a live show this morning from Disney?

00:07:14 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 1:

No, they wouldn't let us

00:07:15 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 4:

It was all full Oh, really? So, wait, is Joe right there with you?

00:07:20 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

No, Joe's in the shower, why?

00:07:22 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Can you walk into the shower right now? Yeah, yeah, yeah Can you go in the shower, Jed? We're live on the radio, and I want to talk about, and you'll actually probably agree with this, Joe doesn't let us eat or drink in his car, and is that not the most annoying thing ever? That car is not that good that he has to have a rule like that.

00:07:40 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 3:

I agree. Hold on. Let me see if I can try to sneak in the shower here.

00:07:43 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever seen my son's penis?

00:07:46 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 3:

Of course. I used to shower with him, and he washed me in the shower in high school. Oh, okay. He used to wash you in the shower. We're on the radio right now. Look at that.

00:07:55 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 6:

He's really in the shower I'm more concerned about you Him washing you I don't care about the car

00:08:05 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 4:

Joe Is it awkward to have Jed Watching you naked shower

00:08:11 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 3:

Not when he's naked Joe

00:08:17 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling our listeners And Spike, Shannon, Megan and Mike I'm telling them about how you won't let us eat or drink in your chevy blazer your i heart red chevy blazer and how annoying that is that

00:08:29 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

you have these car rules i can't i can't have it happen and by the way ashley and jed were asking too it's the worst there's no one that is allowed to besides mona sod from gordon chevrolet she's

00:08:42 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 4:

the only one because she gave you a good deal why are you so uptight it's not uptight it's just

00:08:47 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

there's nothing better than a clean car and it will only be clean for probably another week and then it will be, you know, ruined by my funk. So I need it cleaned.

00:08:59 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 4:

Ruined by your – did you say – what did you say? I thought he swore there for a second. Wait.

00:09:04 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Well, what if your girlfriend wants to start sexy time in the car? Are you going to allow that?

00:09:10 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

All right. Then I'd eat it in the car.

00:09:15 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Hey, wait, real quick. While we're talking, let's check in with Jed. Jed, are you still there?

00:09:22 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 3:

Uh, yes He's still standing there

00:09:26 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 2:

Washing his back

00:09:27 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 5:

Nobody's answered my question yet And I really need I need the answer of why Joe had to Wash you in high school

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 4:

Jed said that before we went

00:09:40 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 5:

I just woke up He never washed me in the shower

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, you know better You said that!

00:09:46 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 5:

He's gaslighting you You are gaslighting me You said that.

00:09:51 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 4:

Joe, did you ever wash each other at Notre Dame Prep?

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 5:

Of course.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you just heard the...

00:10:00 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 3:

How are the showers at Disney World? Why ask me when you can ask Jed? They're spacious. Their own showers. Hey! Joe and Jed. You guys are naked right now, hanging out.

00:10:23 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 4:

Together.

00:10:23 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 3:

Together. What do you want to do?

00:10:26 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 4:

Your best friend before.

00:10:30 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. All right. We'll talk to you guys later. I love you guys. Follow the Joe Show. What is it? Live with Joe Show? Is that right? You can actually see all the Disney stuff that you're doing.

00:10:40 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know if I want to see what the Disney stuff they're doing, because now I'm realizing when they talked about having a great ride last night, were they talking about the truck?

00:10:50 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

They see me rolling. They're hating. Patrolling and trying to catch me riding.

00:10:56 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

You're not riding dirty if you're in one of these cars. People who have car rules here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Sally, you're like my son. You have rules. You cannot do certain things in your car.

00:11:12 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Good morning, everybody. Good morning. I had a 16 Camaro, which was black on black on black. It was a beautiful car. And I would not buy fast food. There would be no fast food. I didn't want the smell in the car. It still had that little plastic that covered the touch screen. Still had the airbag sticker And when I built the car It still smelled new Wow Well that's the biggest thing

00:11:38 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

I think the smell You know I always wonder First off you're the same lady That if I go to your house There's probably plastic on your couch

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 4:

That's the first thing I was thinking

00:11:47 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 3:

But I always wonder

00:11:50 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 6:

I'm a Jeep Wrangler now And it's balls to the wall

00:11:53 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 3:

Who are the people that drive around With the actual How in the car Like on the dashboard There's always that little thing sticking down That tells you about the glove compartment Who are the people that still keep that? Like I always rip that thing off right away As soon as I get the car

00:12:07 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 1:

And she has a Wrangler, so do I In the springtime It was in mine

00:12:11 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah In springtime you kind of like

00:12:13 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 1:

You just take the top off and you let it all

00:12:15 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

She doesn't There's no way you take the top off on that thing

00:12:19 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh no, I sure do now The Camaro, no, that was completely different Jeep is just incredibly fun And yeah, love the top off Jeep hair, don't care

00:12:27 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 3:

I would love to buy your car when you trade it in, because I bet you it's, like...

00:12:32 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I did. I did. I ended up getting, like, an extreme price for it. That's why I got my Jeep. I got, like, a killer price for my Camaro. So that's why I got my Jeep.

00:12:41 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for the call. Emily, hi. It's Mojo on The Morning Show. We're talking about rules that people have in their cars. You're, like, interesting with two rules, right?

00:12:51 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Hi. Good morning, guys. Good morning. I do have two rules. My number one rule, and this is actually a bigger problem than you would might think, is spitting out of my window. I do not like that at all. And, yes. And if you had, I don't mind eating in my car, but if you bring something like trash that you leave in my car, you can't bring stuff in my car anymore. I have, like, designated trash cans in my car. So if, like, you have, like, food containers that you leave in my car, I hate that.

00:13:24 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 3:

First off Spitting out the car window You won't let somebody

00:13:29 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 4:

It's going to come back in the car window

00:13:32 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 7:

Yes my boyfriend does it God love him Or like if I just get a fresh wash In my car and it goes to spit out And it sticks like Dude it's the side of my car

00:13:44 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah that's wild What about people with their shoes on I actually knew somebody that used to Make you take your shoes off When you got into the car

00:13:53 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 1:

That is the weirdest thing ever

00:13:56 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 3:

They would ask you to take your shoes off And take them and put them upside down So that the bottom of the soles Would not actually touch Their car But they had a really nice car They had like a classic Corvette That honestly I could barely fit into the thing I remember getting into the car First off, somebody asked me one time They said, would you ever buy Like a sports car and stuff I'm 6'3", 280 pounds. Does a man my size ever get to fit into one of those sports cars? My sports car is a semi-truck, you know? But these people that get all worked up about their cars are funny. Johnny, are you there?

00:14:36 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what's up?

00:14:38 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

00:14:40 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I got a limo. Now, my rule is You get in the car You don't drink, you don't smoke You don't eat, you keep your mouth shut I take you to point A And point B, and that's it

00:14:54 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what kind of limo service do you run? I would never want to call your limo service Aren't you supposed to have fun and drink?

00:15:00 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 6:

drinking those things?

00:15:01 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 3:

I know. I'm just screwing with y'all, man. Which limo service?

00:15:06 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 5:

She's calling for the plug.

00:15:07 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 3:

No, seriously. I let my people have a lot of fun.

00:15:13 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:15:14 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 3:

That's all I do. I let everybody have fun. I mean, you got to clean it up anyways.

00:15:18 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 6:

I feel bad. I will tell you this. Larry from Top Notch Limousines, I feel bad for the stuff that I've done in the back of those limousines for Top Notch. Ramones and those guys, Lori, everybody, those are nice people.

00:15:29 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 5:

Try not to make a mess. You still always end up making a mess because you're always drinking all night.

00:15:33 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, Hassan?

00:15:35 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 5:

How's it going, guys?

00:15:36 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 2:

Good.

00:15:36 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 6:

Good. We're talking about rules that people have in their cars.

00:15:40 - 00:15:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my mom, she drives a new Tahoe, and I'm telling you, like, the rules are so strict. It's about to the point where my mom's about to start having us take our shoes off before we get in the car.

00:15:49 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 5:

She's that bad, huh?

00:15:51 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 2:

It's that bad. I'm telling you. One, I opened up a water bottle once, and she made me throw it out the window. Just water. Just water, exactly. I told her. I'm like, you washed the inside of your car anyways.

00:16:06 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Do you ever wonder about moms? How are moms big enough to be able to smack you in the backseat of a car?

00:16:12 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 10:

Oh, my mom was so skilled. She could hit all three of us with one swoop. I still cannot figure out how she did it.

00:16:20 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm no small person. I'm 6'5", and my mom was still not afraid to smack me upside down. Yeah.

00:16:25 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely. 734 sent in a great text. and I agree with this, you cannot, if you're going to get in my car, you cannot change the spot that the seat or the steering wheel is placed. Don't be adjusting all that. You have to.

00:16:38 - 00:16:40 | Speaker 10:

I'm only five feet tall. Well, now with

00:16:40 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 5:

my Kia, you can have the driver program, but before that, I would get so annoyed if someone borrowed my car and moved my seats.

00:16:46 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 6:

What do you do when somebody gets in your car

00:16:48 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 5:

and they change their temperature on their side? It drives me crazy, too. I put on sync, and then any girl in my car, my daughters, My girlfriend They all change the temperature And I go It doesn't You know we're all in the same It's all the same little square air

00:17:02 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 4:

That's my So I got a Kia too And that's my That's how I figure out If my wife is mad at me If we're synced And our weather Or our temperature is synced In the car Then everything's cool Because she's very go with the flow But if she switches it And she cranks it really hot Or really low Then I'm like uh oh That is so accurate

00:17:19 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm just trying to tell her Like it doesn't matter If you put up the 92 If mine's at 67 and it's all a law of averages.

00:17:27 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 10:

Oh, it's what's blowing on you. Exactly.

00:17:29 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 7:
