Carl started this place 68 years ago.

Has a little driving range on the corner of Dixie Highway and Telegraph. Wow. And just started, loved the game. He'd play all the time and built a little building, had a little pro shop. And then the landlord ended up selling the land from underneath Mr. Rose. And he ended up driving down Telegraph and saw this piece of land in Bloomfield Township, which was, you know, far better. Even a better place. Didn't know that back then. Yeah. That's wild. Had to build a building larger than he wanted because there was a minimum size you could build. And, you know, they build it five, six times over and over and over again.

And then it became a retail store, which is the number one golf retailer in the world. You guys service more golf to people across the country and fulfill more orders and sell more Titleist, right? Everything. So golf is huge, by the way. It's like everybody's golfing nowadays, which is pretty unbelievable. Like to think COVID, you know, was a great thing for that. It made people golf. It is wild now. Like when I start seeing, did you hear the LeBron story this weekend?

So LeBron is starting golfing. He never really was a big golfer before. And he's so obsessed with golf and all off season. The reason why they say that he has not made a decision on what team he's going to is every day. this guy's out golfing because he is he is convinced that he can become like one of the greatest golfers in the world like basketball players and uh i was watching a podcast just recently he's an 18 handicap he thinks that by the time he retires he's going to be a scratch

like that's his ultimate goal he's one person i don't doubt right he's got the athleticism he's just got to figure it out his swing is okay i've seen it it's okay you know what's weird is bronny

has a better swing than lebron so brawny's a better golfer than his dad i think so like my son luke right i was out yesterday with luke so luke and i went out golfing which by the way there is something i posted this on my own personal when your adult kids are like you're like dad let's go golfing like to say that like it was like oh my god they actually like to hang out with you son of a bitch took money from me he was like trying to get money he was gambling and stuff So, all right, so Carl's Golf Land, 68 years, their anniversary. to all the women on the show if you go into a carl's there are more women shopping for clothes than there are even guys shopping for clothes a lot of the guys go and they play with the putters or they go out on the range and stuff you walk right in it's all the women's clothes first it's honestly i feel like i'm at uh a nordstrom's or whatever you know what i mean like hanging out

with a bunch of women out there shopping we do pride ourselves on that too because i from a golfer's perspective women that play golf i think they typically at other stores have a hard time finding stuff that isn't just pink or some weird pattern that doesn't really look great so we do

pride ourselves on that we've got we got everything right why do they always got to make them neons it's almost kind of like they want guys to know there's women right four holes in front of you right here they are yeah which by the way women wearing golf stuff hot as hell chelsea will wear some of this like Malbon or whatever the heck it is or Roan.
