Real quick, I got a text message from a friend of mine. His name is Jay Yee. I think I've told you guys about Jay, right? But Jay is legendary because he's been to almost every Costco that has ever been on this planet or is ever on this planet.

00:03:00 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 4:

In the world.

00:03:01 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 6:

Yes, in the world. Travels across worldwide. But he also is a Costco employee working at Costco. Ready for this one? He sent me just a second ago the actual name. Costco 391 Hagerty Road in Livonia. They have numbers. He goes, will you do me a favor? Will you say hello to all my coworkers at Costco 391 Livonia Hagerty? We've been working our butts off to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Costco in Metro Detroit. Wow, it's been 25 years, huh, since Costco's been here? And then he sent me pictures of what the Costco looks like and the beautiful stuff that they've been doing to it. I said to him, I go, I would only do this if you bring the Mojo in the Morning Show, one of those peanut butter pies that they have, or whatever that new pie is that they have.

00:03:56 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 4:

I actually need some Nutella, too. If you pick some up for me, I'll Venmo him.

00:04:01 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 6:

Let me say this to you. He will do it. Don't do that, because then you'll go out to your car this afternoon, and there'll be a Nutella sitting on your front hood.

00:04:07 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 4:

That would be wonderful, Jamie. I will Venmo you.

00:04:09 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 6:

No, but here's the thing. We need that pie, because that pie, and he's got a ton of them in this picture.

00:04:13 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 4:

I've never had it.

00:04:14 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 6:

That pie is like the pie that everybody's been talking about. right? Have you had it? No, I haven't. I can't have it, but everybody says that it rivals the pumpkin pie that's better than the pumpkin pie that they have at Thanksgiving and Christmas. But it's like a peanut butter, like a Reese's peanut butter cup pie. It's delicious. And they have, look at all these for Tony Travato. He would love those. The carrot cakes. Cupcakes. Very exciting. Very exciting stuff that you get on the show.

00:04:42 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay, wait. A lot of people work at that Costco or shop at that Costco because our texts are...

00:04:46 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

So you guys got to go meet J.E. So when you go in there, he works, I think, mornings. And he always sends. So we have a group text that there's a group of us in. And he knows I wake up at 3.30 in the morning. So in the group text.

00:05:00 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 2:

He goes Morning Tom In the group text I say it in his voice Morning Tom And everybody gets pissed Because then they get a ding On their phone At 3.30 in the morning Like why does he not just do it To just me directly But he does it in the group text For everybody Oh my god I gotta tell you about another friend So since we're just talking about this So this one actually Could turn into something here So another friend of mine told me a story about, and this did not go over well in front of wives, told me a story about how he and his coworkers scratch each other's backs at work. I guess everyone in the office will do a whole like- Like a circle? They do like a back scratching thing where it's like, okay, today's the day that Jacob has to scratch, you know, Julie's back. And yesterday was Julie scratching Jacob's back. And by the way, I'm using fake names and stuff like that because I want to protect this guy. But they have this whole thing. And you guys know this firsthand, right? With this weather and stuff, your back has been kind of itchy lately or your body's been itchy lately, probably dry from how things have been with the heat and everything. But they have a coworker scratching thing that goes on. And I said, well, I said to him, I go, you can't do that nowadays. You can't be scratching your coworkers' backs. You can't be doing that anyways. It's weird. It is weird, but.

00:06:34 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 3:

I mean, if it's consensual.

00:06:36 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 2:

There was a day here in town when, remember when Joey used to be on our show in Slim?

00:06:41 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so this is why I'm laughing. Because what did we all ask them to do?

00:06:45 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, Slim would always be the guy that I would always ask him if he would scratch my back. Because he would come in and he would always go, hey, big fella. and he'd come up next to me and he would give me hugs and stuff. And I'd say, hey, can you scratch it? And then you...

00:06:57 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 3:

And Joey was always massaging people's shoulders because he was really good at it.

00:07:01 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Joey would massage Shannon's shoulders and I thought to myself, that is right there. Like, I cannot condone that. Joey's like my brother. Slim can touch me. Joey cannot touch you.

00:07:14 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 3:

I think you got a massage here and there too.

00:07:16 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 2:

It was not a... Yeah, Joey would come over and go, hey, you miss it, man? I can't do an invitation of Joey I haven't talked to Joey in forever So I don't know But it was always kind of like Hey Tom It was a little like Mike Posner It was kind of Mike Posner

00:07:33 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 3:

But we would ask Hey my shoulders are Can you go massage my shoulders I mean you're right It's probably not But we didn't have like a schedule Like your friend seems to have They have different days

00:07:46 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 2:

They have a schedule And I don't know how you guys feel about this Mike and Megan, would you be opposed? If we're all in the studio together, can we all do a circle scratch or something?

00:07:56 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely not.

00:07:57 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

No, not a chance.

00:07:59 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

No. Oh, I'm down.

00:08:00 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 2:

Do you not like to be touched?

00:08:01 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 1:

No. I hate it so incredibly much. So much. I don't mind it from professionals. If I'm going to get a massage, then that's fine. But I don't like it when people just walk up and just start rubbing the shoulders and getting all close for no reason.

00:08:16 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, they've got to ask. If I ask, I mean, obviously it's okay, which is what we would do.

00:08:25 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Consent has to be given.

00:08:26 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 3:

Bro, if somebody randomly came up and just started massaging my shoulders, that would be a little creepy.

00:08:31 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

I would rather act like a bear, find a door frame, and scratch my own back than have somebody touch me. Oh.

00:08:38 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 3:

I like being touched.

00:08:40 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 2:

All right. Okay, so here's the question.

00:08:42 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Somebody please pull that. Scratch and rub all you want.

00:08:46 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to throw this out there.

00:08:49 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Tickle my arm. Do it all.

00:08:52 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to throw this out there, and I want to ask the listeners this. I want to know what's the weird thing that you do in your office that is kind of embarrassingly funny. You know what I mean? What's the kind of weird thing that you guys do, like the friends of ours that backscratch? like is there something weird that uh that you guys do i don't know if this is weird but i always

00:09:19 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 1:

walk to an open door and like it doesn't matter whose office it is and i go knock knock even though the door is open like i'll pretend like i'm knocking on the door i'll just go hey knock knock you don't have to do that if the door is open just say hi has anybody ever told you that you are michael from the office yeah yeah uh i can see that i can 100 that or maybe like

00:09:40 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 2:

a slight Dwight like a little bit you're kind of yeah you kind of like a little Dwighty a little bit of each um Mojo in the morning show what's going on Megan so my co-workers and I work at a hospital and um once a month we go in our break room and they all make me derma blade their faces

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

I would be

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm so down for that.

00:10:02 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, they'll come in, and I'll know it's that day because they all show up without any makeup on, and they'll go, okay, today you have to do your faces.

00:10:10 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, call me the next time. I will be there hanging out with you guys. Perfect. Sounds good.

00:10:15 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Megan. What's up, Maria? How you doing?

00:10:18 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 10:

Hi, good. How are you guys?

00:10:19 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 4:

We're good. What's the weird thing that you guys do in your office?

00:10:24 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 10:

One time, my coworker asked me to put fake eyelashes on her, So I got the whole glue out that was in my desk, and I put some eyelashes on her.

00:10:34 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

What do you guys do for a living?

00:10:36 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 10:

I work for CPS. Oh, you know? Yeah. I mean, you've got a stressful job. Eyelashes are very important.

00:10:44 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 4:

But honestly, that's a stressful job. Like, you almost need to have, like, downtime like that together, right?

00:10:48 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 5:

A little self-care. Oh, yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah. I mean, I had Zach, who has been working hard doing all of our podcasting. I had him crack my back the other day. Really? Yeah. My back was killing me. He's cracking your back? Yeah. Well, Sean Strife came in, who does middays on our Detroit station. He came in and got his back cracked. And then I'm like, wait a second. I want my back cracked, too.

00:11:10 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 4:

By the way, he also is a chiropractor when he leaves here. He goes to his chiropractic office. What's up, Jana? How you doing?

00:11:19 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 8:

Hey, Mojo. So me and my coworkers have kind of had, like, fashion shows in the office. One of my co-workers, she's Canadian, and she has her stuff shipped to a U.S. house. And, like, she's had, like, four dresses where even our one nurse that was a male tried on a dress. And it was pretty comical. If we have a date night, we'll be like, hey, guys, what do you think of these outfits?

00:11:44 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 6:

I love that. It's so fitting that we're playing the office theme during this because I wanted to go fashion show, fashion show, fashion show at lunch.

00:11:52 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:

that's actually kind of cool I mean listen you guys do things the girls on the show always do things together where they'll show off outfits or they'll you'll bring something in and say hey what do you think of this and you guys give each other the advice on it

00:12:06 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 8:

yeah we got our own bathroom in the office too so we have privacy

00:12:10 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 4:

I do like that you got the guys also doing it too the guys are participating in this although here it wouldn't work because Megan and Mike aren't fun enough to want to have back scratching I just don't want to be

00:12:21 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 3:

rubbed on while I'm at work.

00:12:22 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 8:

It was a really pretty dress. He had to try it on. Right, exactly. Thank you

00:12:26 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 4:

so much. Appreciate it. What's going on, Allison? What's happening?

00:12:31 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 9:

Hey, yeah. I'm driving to work right now, but yeah.

00:12:35 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 4:

What do you do in the office that people would not probably be happy with?

00:12:41 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 9:

It's like every week. Sometimes we'll crack each other's backs. We'll just go into the break room and do that, but yeah.

00:12:49 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 4:

See, there's nothing wrong with that.

00:12:51 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 5:

You've got to have somebody else help you do that.

00:12:53 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 4:

And everybody's okay with it, right? There's nobody at, you know, the office that's like Mike or Megan that are really boring and don't want to do something like that.

00:13:02 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. It feels like we're being shamed into being rubbed. Yeah.

00:13:05 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 4:

They won't let us all, like, you know, have our time where, you know, we can all make sure that we – that's like bonding moments. You have to rub each other to bond.

00:13:14 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 9:

No, they have to do it because it, like, hurts. If they don't do it, they, like, ask for it.

00:13:18 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 4:

see yeah they all megan how are we the weird ones for not wanting to get rubbed you know what i think the problem is that you guys both work in separate studios than us and are not with us at a normal time if you're always with us you would be fine with it i'm now a little weirded out about what

00:13:34 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 6:

goes on in the detroit studio because we're not around hey it's bubba wallace from 23 11 racing
