Mojo in the morning. Chelsea and I are going to a bat mitzvah for Madison Lash. Our friends Ryan and Samantha Lash's beautiful daughter. She is getting bat mitzvahed this Friday and we're very happy about that.

00:02:24 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 3:

i saw some crazy bot and bar mitzvahs over the weekend oh there's none crazier than this one like holy cow so so you i i have some friends i've only ever been to one bar mitzvah my whole entire life um but like my friends were posting that they were going and they are they're like so

00:02:49 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 7:

Well, my kids went to school in West Bloomfield, and they had a lot of Jewish friends.

00:02:55 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:02:56 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 7:

And they would go to bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs a lot in middle school. And there was one kid that had theirs. It was when the Pistons played at the Palace, the Palace of Auburn Hills. And basically, you know, actually, it was Jeff Sack was kid. It was his kids that had it. And they had it actually there at the stadium and had Mason and all the rest of those guys doing stuff. And then there was another one where they rented out the entire Lifetime Fitness. Ricky Letterman and Susie Letterman did that. That was unbelievable, too. That was, like, so cool to have that entire place to have a party. And then there was a couple of them. This one's an out-of-town one. We're going out of town. We're going to Vegas for this one. Yes. Damn. They got money. And the craziest is that they got. Well, let me tell you, it's good to be me. But honestly, you know what happens with rich friends? You got to pay rich gifts. You know what I mean?

00:03:55 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 3:

You're going to make a weekend out of it. That's fine.

00:03:57 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 7:

I have no idea. But Chelsea, I said to Chelsea, I go, because, you know, they're paying for our, you know, our hotel and stuff like that. Yeah, you got it. So my biggest problem I have with this entire thing is I got to figure out what to wear to not one event like most, you know, like regular Jewish people do. These guys are having like three events. Okay, so we got the Friday night and then there's two things on Saturday and two things on Sunday. And so I said to Chelsea, I go, Chelsea, I go, what are you wearing? Because I wanted to figure out like what her outfits are going to be. and she says what do you care like what do you mean what am i wearing i go well i want to kind of like match what you're wearing and she goes gay you know like chelsea come on no she didn't say that she just looked at me she gave me cross eyes and said why do you want to know what i'm wearing and i said to her i go chelsea i just want us to not look like we're so awkward i don't want you to be so overdressed and me not to be overdressed Thank you.

00:05:00 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 3:

Like, I definitely don't want us to wear the exact same outfit, which I know that there's got to be. Are there any couples that literally match outfits? Because if you are, call us up. I want to hear about you guys. But I want us to not be so far off. You want to compliment each other. I want, well, not so much compliment even because I can't compliment her. She looks too good. I just don't want to look like such a loser that there are people who are like, why is this guy, you know, with her? And I have no idea what she, and she says. And hold on a second. Let me just see. I don't know if she'll answer the phone. But she says that she's just grabbing stuff out of her closet. Oh, she's shopping. My wife has never grabbed anything out of her closet whenever she's gone anywhere. She's shopping. Charles?

00:05:45 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 2:

Yes?

00:05:46 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

What are you wearing to Madison's bat mitzvah?

00:05:50 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 2:

To the service or to the party?

00:05:52 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 3:

No, to everything. What did you do? Did you go out?

00:05:55 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 2:

I have three. I just went in my closet and got dressed.

00:05:58 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 3:

Ah, I call bullcrap on that. That is such bullcrap.

00:06:02 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that is such bullcrap. The thing is, I do have some dresses that I haven't worn before. So I'm wearing dresses to the service and to the parties Friday, or I'm sorry, Saturday and Sunday. And then for brunch, I'm just, the brunches, I'm just wearing more casual.

00:06:21 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 3:

Is there any way that we can get out of this thing? Do you understand three days of stuff? Do you understand? I don't have, does Ryan not realize or Samantha not realize I wear the same thing every day?

00:06:32 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, you don't have to go. I can go by myself.

00:06:35 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. Don't do that. Then forever they'll be upset with me. That's a lot of outfits. Like, how do you find that many outfits?

00:06:45 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

It's called the internet. And you shop every day. There are packages that come to the house for you every time.

00:06:50 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

I wear, what do I wear? I wear Grayson or Peter Millar or G4s.

00:06:57 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

Woo-woo, fancy. All golf stuff.

00:07:01 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 3:

But I can't wear that to a Las Vegas bat mitzvah.

00:07:05 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

They said the parties at night are kind of, we can wear jeans and a nice shirt.

00:07:11 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 3:

You know the last time I put a button up on? That was difficult. That was difficult.

00:07:18 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 2:

It's funny you don't complain going to a party with listeners, but you...

00:07:23 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 3:

That's one. She is right on that. Can I wear the same thing I wore to the hotel hookup party for at least one of these things?

00:07:29 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what you wore to the hotel hookup party.

00:07:32 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 3:

I did wear a button-up with a pair of nice dark jeans. Okay, it's the first time I put jeans on in the longest time. You should see what my legs did the next morning. They were all chafing. Perfect.

00:07:41 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 2:

So you wear those one night and then wear the jeans the second night and change the shirt.

00:07:47 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:07:47 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

It's really not that hard.

00:07:49 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

It's very easy. If it wasn't that I...

00:07:51 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

It's harder for women than it is for men. It is not. Yes, it is. Yes, it is.

00:07:55 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 3:

If it wasn't that I love Madison, I would not, I would, seriously, I would have said there's no way. Because this thing is such a, good Lord. This is Vegas. This is, I know. But I want to go to, when I go to Vegas, you know what I wear in Vegas? I wear t-shirts and shorts and flip flops.

00:08:13 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, you can wear that during the day.

00:08:16 - 00:08:16 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:08:16 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

The brunch is super easy and casual. And then nighttime party isn't that dressy either. It's pretty, you know, it's just a little bit step up from your golf pants and golf shirts.

00:08:27 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

Peter Millar. What's going on? How you doing, Kim? Hi.

00:08:31 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 1:

Hey, everybody. Good morning.

00:08:34 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Hey, Kim, say hi to my wife, Chelsea, because I'm going to hope that she hears you and we do exactly what you do. What do you guys do?

00:08:43 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, listen, I love Chelsea, and I'm not going to try to play anything Chelsea wants to do.

00:08:50 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

00:08:51 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 1:

just say it but um when me and my fiance go to church or like family parties we try to match or like compliment each other like if he's got a blue button-up shirt on i'll wear a blue dress or you know something like that where we either match or we compliment each other with what we're

00:09:12 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 3:

in yeah see chelsea won't do that with me she doesn't want she won't tell me what she's wearing and she wants it to be a surprise.

00:09:18 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 1:

And my fiance actually likes it.

00:09:21 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 3:

He does?

00:09:21 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

He's the one that, yeah, he's the one that likes us to match more than I do.

00:09:27 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Chelsea's like, I'm not, I don't want to wear the same dress. I'm like, okay, I think it would be nice if we wore the same dress. I think that would be nice.

00:09:35 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would like to see you in the dress, Mojo.

00:09:37 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

That's right. Calvin Shirell always look like they're matchy. And I bet you, because Shannon has done this in the past, but I bet you she and Wes will be... You guys wear the same outfits. Wes is crazy about trying to compliment what I am wearing to the point where when we first started dating, he would bring backup outfits in his car to change into

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 7:

If he was, like, too dressy or underdressed compared to what I was wearing. And he would change. That's hilarious. Yep.

00:10:06 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:10:06 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 7:

I called him out for that all the time.

00:10:08 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 6:

Get a black suit and get a pocket square that matched whatever Chelsea wears.

00:10:12 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's perfect.

00:10:13 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 6:

Chelsea, that's what I need. I need to find something nice.

00:10:17 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 7:

My dresses are black. Black. All right. Very simple. Easy. I'm going to tell you that.

00:10:22 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 6:

Black dresses. Is men's warehouse still around? Do they still have places like that? Yes. You're going to love the way you look. That's what they say. Is that what it is? Where do you get your coats and stuff like that? I went to Joseph Bank to get the last one. Oh, is that place good? Yeah. I mean, I liked it. I thought I looked good. All right. All of my brother's good suits are from there. Peter Millar doesn't make tuxedos? No. Do you need a tuxedo? No, not a tuxedo. I'm just talking. This is it. It's craziness. All right. All right, Chelsea. I will talk to you later.

00:10:56 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 7:

All right.

00:10:57 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 6:

Hold on. A listener has a good question for you. Jordan, what did you want to tell Chelsea?

00:11:03 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 7:

Okay, first off, who complains about going to Vegas?

00:11:06 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 6:

Vegas? I'm not complaining about going to Vegas. I'm complaining about the fact that I have to dress up at these parties.

00:11:12 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 7:

Oh, boo-hoo. I have to go to Vegas. So anyway, just have Chelsea pack your bag.

00:11:21 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 6:

Chelsea, will you pack for me like my mom used to do for my dad back in the day?

00:11:26 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 7:

No way. I gave up on that. 20 years ago.

00:11:30 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 6:

Come on.

00:11:31 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 7:

You know what happens? He'll get there and he'll open up and be like, Chelsea, what did you pack?

00:11:35 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 6:

Do you know that she still packs for our 19-year-old? She'll still... You will pack for Luke.

00:11:41 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 7:

I like him more than him. I like him more than him.

00:11:43 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 6:

That's not nice. Jordan, that would be the greatest. I wonder if there are any couples that do that. Would you ever do that for Wes? Would you pack for him? Or no? If he needed me to, I would. God, that's so nice.

00:11:54 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 7:

He's a last-minute packer. He'll pack 10 minutes before we leave for somewhere. That's a newlywed thing. See that?

00:12:00 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 6:

You used to do stuff like that for me back in the day, Chelsea.

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 7:

28 years ago, 29 years ago.

00:12:06 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 6:

You would shop for me. She would do stuff. She'd buy me stuff. I'd go, oh, my God, look at that. It's so nice. And I realized it's because she didn't like the Paisley Robert Graham shirt that I was wearing. She goes, you look like a pimp with that thing on. All right. I'll talk to you later. I love you.

00:12:24 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 4:
