All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. I was going to say their names, but I'm not going to. But they're people that are really close to us on this show. They're a husband and wife. And they have a really interesting relationship. And I actually envy them for the fact that they really love the hell out of each other. But they do some things that are kind of, to me, I don't know. They're like, some of them are really cool, and then some of them are really weird. Like, for instance, they do a lot of role playing, and these are professional people. And they were telling us a story about what they did last weekend, Chelsea and I. Their role playing that they did last weekend was they faked an affair. They ended up getting a room and doing a staycation at one of the hotels here in town. They met at the hotel by going into the hotel bar lobby, you know, the lobby bar, and then flirting with people that were sitting at the hotel lobby bar, including other people, and then eventually meeting each other and then flirting with each other and then going up into the hotel room and pretending like they picked each other up in the bar and then, you know, screwing. And I thought to myself, that is really, like, that's an unbelievable effort. Maybe we should shut that door because now we got our favorite friend next door slamming doors and stuff. Although shutting the door probably is not going to help with that. But I was trying to picture this because they're telling us a story And Chelsea's got her mouth wide open, and she's dumbfounded listening to this story because Chelsea's like, there is no way in hell I would ever do this. And I'm the whole time going, God, this would be so awesome. Chelsea said she would want to do it. But the craziest part of the thing is they'll flirt with other people that are at the bar. Couldn't do that. And I would have a hard time seeing Chelsea flirting with some dude, you know what I mean, that is sitting at the bar. But isn't it kind of exciting, Mike? Wouldn't it be exciting to, like, pretend that you and Allie actually met each other in the bar and then you meet this, you know, woman, strange woman, and go and have sex with her?

00:04:21 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 7:

We've done that. You have? We've done that, but not the flirting with other people part. That part is, I couldn't do that.

00:04:27 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 2:

That part's hard to me, and also the fact that they include the storyline that it's an affair.

00:04:32 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:04:33 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 2:

Like, why couldn't they just meet each other for the quote-unquote first time? Yeah, that's what we did. That to me is like, all right, whatever.

00:04:39 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, the affair is, they don't say we're having the affair. The fair part is that they both know that they're married people. And in their head, they're flirting with the other people. Like, oh, we're being illicit and kind of weird and stuff like that.

00:04:53 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 2:

I think I would get in my head that, is this how my person would act if he were having You know what I mean? I'm so in my head all the time anyway. It would screw me up even more than I'm already screwed up.

00:05:05 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, let me just tell you this. The part that I would be having a problem with is if Chelsea liked the guy that was flirting with her at the bar.

00:05:12 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. He doesn't come over. He doesn't come over to talk to you.

00:05:16 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

I would love to know. This would be something kind of wild because I'm not a role-playing type of person. Chelsea and I don't do that.

00:05:23 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever?

00:05:24 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 3:

No, we've never role-played at all. No. I mean, you know, if we did role play, Chelsea would role play that I was like a really clean guy. Like I would clean up the house and I was, you know, this guy came into the house that was actually there to clean things up. Like she would be like, and then next thing I know, it would be like a trick on me for her to get me to do like work around the house and try to pick up after myself. What's the craziest role playing that you have ever done with your significant other, with your spouse? Mike, you say that you guys have done this role playing. Have you guys done any other role-playing?

00:05:58 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 2:

Let me think. No, honestly, that's been like the only one. Costumes?

00:06:02 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 3:

Hotel stuff.

00:06:03 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 2:

We wore costumes, I guess, but it was like Halloween, so we were just in the costumes.

00:06:07 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

So not just on a normal Tuesday? No, no, no. Joe, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Hi, are you a role-playing type guy? Do you have a role-playing relationship?

00:06:20 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 1:

No, I wish I did. I mean, I think it's live. I think it's well-needed in marriage.

00:06:24 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 3:

I think every guy listening to this show would love if their spouse would role-play. I think it's the women that don't want to do the role-playing. Do you agree?

00:06:33 - 00:06:33 | Unknown:

Exactly.

00:06:34 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 1:

Yep, yep. I mean, that's what I was just saying. Like, the whole Ward-a-Rosa situation, you guys just talked about. I think if role-playing was included in a lot of these marriages, you wouldn't have had these problems. I agree.

00:06:46 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

I do agree with that.

00:06:48 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 1:

That's the honest-to-God truth that a lot of men want. But, you know, like you said, the women ain't really for it. And I understand why.

00:06:55 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you. But if you're that bored that you have to do that and you say your marriage wouldn't survive without it, aren't you eventually going to get bored of that? No. And then what's next?

00:07:02 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 1:

No, no, not at all. You can come home as Fred Flintstone one day. You know, it all gets new. You know what I'm saying? That would be the greatest role playing. That's just what every woman wants.

00:07:12 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 3:

You're Fred Flintstone and she's what, Wilma. Wasn't his wife Wilma? Question for you. Question for you, though. Honestly, Joe, what would be role playing that you would like to do with your wife?

00:07:23 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 1:

oh man i never think thought of it i don't know probably power rangers or something like that bring it up to her and see what she says tonight i'll be the green ranger you know

00:07:38 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 3:

uh missy hi hi what's going on oh turn your radio down okay missy you're gonna listen to it Yeah. Missy, what role-playing do you and your husband do?

00:07:53 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 5:

See, we act in murder mysteries, so when we're done, we have fun, still in character. Like, one time we did cross-dresser's ball, and he was dressed as a female, and we role-played, and I was the male. Wait, but you kill each other in your role-play? I never had to kill him in the murder mystery, but, yeah, we just stay in our characters.

00:08:18 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't want to take my work home with me if you do that all day at the office.

00:08:23 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. He was the woman and you were the guy in the role play? Yes.

00:08:29 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I was.

00:08:30 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 3:

What did that feel like? Was that fun?

00:08:33 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 5:

It was a little weird. I'll be honest. I was a little weird at all. But we made fun with it. So, yeah.

00:08:39 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Hey, question for you on the whole murder thing where you got murdered. Did you have, like, the greatest orgasm ever that night?

00:08:47 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. Um, uh, we're going to leave the fence there. Okay.

00:08:52 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 3:

It wasn't very good, I guess. He killed you that way too.

00:08:57 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

00:08:58 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, poor guy. Well, he had a lot of things on his mind. He was killing his wife. What's up, Shelly?

00:09:05 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning. How are you?

00:09:06 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

Good. Shelly, you guys role play? Well, heck yeah. Why not? Tell us what, what role play that you've done.

00:09:13 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, all sorts of stuff. You know, cowboy pick me up in a bar, pretend we don't know each other. Fire man, fire girl, rent a fire truck. You can rent a fire truck for a couple hours.

00:09:22 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 4:

Man, that's a lot of work to get laid. You're going to rent a fire truck? You guys rent a fire truck?

00:09:28 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

Where can you rent a fire truck? I want to rent a fire truck.

00:09:30 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 6:

I'm curious, yeah, how much? It depends on how many hours you rent it for and if the driver stays with the truck or not.

00:09:36 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Wait, the driver could be part of the whole role playing?

00:09:40 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 6:

Well, no, he'll leave the truck.

00:09:43 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay, this is great.

00:09:44 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 6:

You have to pay extra for the fireman to leave the truck

00:09:47 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 4:

And we met at a bar by his house and he was going to be sitting at one of those machines where you play games on them. And so I was a little drunk already and i walked up in the bar like a boss and went to this man that was um on the machine playing and kissed him on the back of his neck oh oh it was not my boy Wait, what did you say to him? I was like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry. I thought you were my boyfriend. And he's like, oh, you're good, you're good. You can keep going. Wow. And my boyfriend did not stop me. He's like three stools down.
