mojo in the morning show good to have you guys here with us today the five lives tell your mom is going to be an interesting one this morning a daughter calls her mom up to say mom you know that guy that my husband is not comfortable with you know that one guy i think most couples have one guy and you're not comfortable with him here uh thinking that maybe uh he's got a little thing for your wife well this morning a daughter tells her mom that she's actually having a fair with him and the weird part about this five lies is she did this mom's reaction was priceless and then mom hung up the phone on us and we couldn't get mom back on the phone for i think it has been two weeks this morning on the show mom actually finally learns that it was a five lies crazy is that nuts like i would meet wouldn't you immediately after you did the five lies call mom up and go mom i was just kidding i was a radio station doing a stupid radio prank especially if it was something like that was the lie that can really affect your life she's dragging this out the craziest of the whole situation is that the daughter thinks it's funny like that's nuts um all right so and and the other funny part of the whole thing and you'll hear it all coming up in uh 40 minutes 45 minutes the other funny part is the husband had no idea what was going on so mom was acting weird around him oh it's a great one so you got to listen coming up uh just after seven o'clock it's mojo in the morning show uh you know there's nothing worse than getting emotional and having other people around at the time that you you start crying well Megan had a moment happen to her Megan you cried in public I don't even know if

cry is the right word or like horrifically sob is a better description of what was going on last night uh but I I went into this fully prepared to cry and not prepared to cry as much as I did I saw Parade the musical at the Fisher last night which by the way is based on a true story and I spoiler alert it happened in the 1800s knew the ending and um I guess it was the 1900s but anyway that doesn't matter uh but I ended the show the The show ends on this, like, horrific, terrible moment, right? Like, there's no peace afterwards. It's meant to end as a massive tragedy. And so when it ends, they don't, like, have a song at the end or anything. The actors just come out and silently bow and then leave the stage. So it's, like, depressing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'm standing in the audience just bawling. Like, so hard. Yes. My makeup looked so good yesterday and just rivers. down the cake down foundation and um i go to the bathroom and in the bathroom i'm like trying to blow my nose like that's how heavy i am crying blow my nose i clear everything out try to get into my uber which is waiting outside and this very very nice listener of ours uh her name is stacy shout out to stacy she's a queen hey stacy shout out to stacy comes up to me doesn't say oh hello or uh you know how did you like the musical it was today's war of the roses was crazy right no way that i just looked at her like that is an awful transition into this conversation but stacy you know what i think i need this moment and she just dove into do you think they ran into each other later uh in their work day because the war of the roses yesterday they worked together at a factory but she was like which factory do you think it was and do you think they ran into it do you think he looked for her did she notice that you were crying yes she did not care she was on a mission to get more information about yesterday's war of the

show as you so was she emotional at all or no oh let me tell you i go to a lot of musicals i love them usually when people leave it's like loud in the theater and people are like oh did you like it what did you see it was so quiet inside of the fisher that you could hear like toilets flushing and the sinks turning off like it was so quiet it's so quiet and so everybody's like okay well i'll see you at work tomorrow and she's like so tell me more about this war of the roses

are we gonna get an update by the way that that seems like an awkward ending to a uh a musical You're right. They usually will have a song and dance, and everybody goes, ah, da, da, da, da, and then the lights go on, and boom, you get out of there. But the fact that they ended on such a sad note and then leave people having to walk out, I wouldn't have gotten into the Uber, because I'd be afraid the Uber driver would think that I was nuts or just got broken up on or something.

Oh, I had to clarify. So the musical parade is about the trial of Leo Frank, and I feel dumb. I don't know who that is.

No, Leo Frank, it's about the lynching of a Jewish man in the 1910s-ish. Okay. And he lived in Atlanta and had a pencil factory that a 13-year-old girl was murdered in. And the musical is about his trial. I mean, he goes to jail very early in the musical and it ends. Do you want me to tell you how it ends? I mean, it's a historical event.

I've got to be quite honest with you. There will be no spoiler alert because the fact that I will never go see this. Go ahead.

So it ends with the governor trying to pardon him and the townspeople break into the jail where he's being held at and take him out to the woods and lynch him.

Lord, that's heavy. I think about that and compare it to the end of like Mamma Mia where there's confetti and everybody's dancing in the aisle. Or wicked.

Like I've had emotional moments happen to me, like where you're out crying. Like movies are probably a big one. At movie theaters, imagine theater walking out after a sad movie. And you're walking out and you look like, you know, literally you just got punched in the face because your face is all swollen.

Well, it's funny that you say, you know, Wicked is so happy because when I saw Wicked in theaters, which I saw it in theaters two or three times, I cried every single time. I walked out of the theater bawling every time.

Well, you know what? I forget how the movie ended because I've seen the whole play.
