All right, Mojo in the morning. Dating them for what they have. Kevin, we've talked to her. By the way, your mom, by the way, was priceless today. Shout out to my mama. If you didn't hear the podcast from Kevin from earlier this morning, we got into it a little bit with Kevin and said we needed his mom to be on to pull him back in. I love her, man.

00:01:41 - 00:01:50 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you, I would not be the man I am today without that woman in my life. She is everything and more. I don't show her enough and I don't tell her enough, and I need to do a much better job at that.

00:01:51 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome. Okay, so now let's talk about your fun ways. dating somebody dating somebody for for what they have you heard of people date for money exactly but this is not money though huh I don't that's

00:02:07 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 4:

where I'm having this like internal discussion and battle and when I have these moments I bring them to the people I talk to the most which is you all and I had this discussion in my brain where I was like typically we call let's just put it out there women who date more well-off financially men gold diggers and we say oh she's just after him for his bread she's just after him for his money and then there are some women out there who say admittedly I want to date a rich guy I want to be a kept woman and that's a segment of the population that exists and then in my brain I was like damn am I being a hypocrite if I'm condemning that person but at the same time I say man how nice would it be if I want to date an interior decorator or an interior designer because our house is going to be fire if it gets to that point. Or I want to date a chef because, you know, hopefully as much as she cooks in her profession, she want to cook at the crib. Or I want to date somebody that's really into fitness because, you know, their body's going to look nice, but then maybe it'll spill over into my life. Like, is it the same type of mindset?

00:03:15 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 5:

Do people do that? Do people date somebody because of their occupation and what they can get out of the deal?

00:03:21 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 4:

I believe so. I don't think I've ever done. But like this, for example, like one of the one of the reasons why I was attracted to Sherelle was obviously because our connection with both of our parents being incarcerated. But she was a boss bitch. And I'm attracted to that. Like, I like that type of energy. I like that type of woman that knows where she's going, has a business. Like, I like that type of thing.

00:03:42 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 6:

Being attracted to that is different to me than like the way that you kind of open this up was it almost felt like you were using somebody for something whether it be money or whether it be a talent or whether it be like that is very apples and oranges to me with you being attracted to cherelle because of you know her drive maybe that was a bad example but like there are perks

00:04:05 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 4:

to her relationships yeah yeah and going after someone for that perk um i guess if out of all

00:04:14 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 5:

the things that you said the date the chef one intrigued me uh is anybody listening that uh that ever feels like somebody has dated them for for what they do and not who they are sometimes uh

00:04:25 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 6:

if that were the case what would they date us for huh tickets we don't i mean we don't really get

00:04:32 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 5:

tickets back in the day though used to yeah back in the day used to definitely get you know access to go to things like you know when there was more opportunity that would be kind of uh be kind of a cool thing i guess um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 out of all the different people that you've dated over time was there anybody that had an occupation that was like a great one to date because i i always thought this with dr uh werner dr werner would be the greatest guy to date because you always have access to a doctor Thank you. right that knows them that knows the vagina well just a doctor in general just you need you need

00:05:11 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 4:

a prescription written it's done immediate or man i got this this is happening or this you know

00:05:15 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 5:

can you look at this exactly just the ease of that cassie actually wants to dispel a myth though uh what's up cassie how you doing it's mojo in the morning what's going on so i'm engaged to a chef

00:05:28 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 7:

and he never cooks at home. That's what I thought. So dating someone in a profession thinking that they're going to do something at home, they're not going to because they do it all day at work. So why would they want to do it at home?

00:05:41 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. People think we got a great playlist of songs. I do. The last thing in the world we want to do, right? They do.

00:05:46 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

I'll make the hell out of playlists. Send you something right now. But I do think there are people who fit that mold of who do the thing all day and when they come home, they want to be removed from it. But I also think it's people that love cooking in the kitchen regardless of where they are that's their language that's their love and they do it no matter the location does he cook at least thanksgiving dinner for you

00:06:06 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 7:

cassie or you he had to work there this past thanksgiving so i actually did all the cooking um he's great when he actually has time to plan something and cook but most of the time he just chooses not to because he also doesn't get home until after nine or ten o'clock at night yeah it

00:06:25 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 4:

has to be hard to cook when you're dating a chef oh like just judging yourself like

00:06:30 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 7:

oh i don't care i cook whatever i want and what my toddler will eat and if he doesn't like it then he can cook whatever or go out love it uh courtney brings up a really good point when it

00:06:43 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 5:

comes to this dating for their occupation what's up courtney hi hi good morning guys good morning

00:06:49 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 8:

um i i was just thinking in the past this is why megan doesn't want to date a listener or she's had an experience where she dated a listener and the whole time was like okay can you get me into this event or can you um get me tickets for this thing and i'm sure it happens to you guys where it's like they even if you don't have tickets anymore they just want to date you for the clout yeah like it could put them up potentially happens all the time i'm glad you brought it up yeah i could see i always got your back megan because they were really getting mad at you

00:07:18 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

yeah they were they were which is why i didn't bring it up again i'm surprised uh i'm surprised you call in but yeah no i i got a lot of flack for saying that well i also you don't want to

00:07:28 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 5:

you don't want to sound like you're insulting the listener but i get i get your point where you feel like if you're dating a listener they're not dating you for who you are they're dating you

00:07:36 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 9:

for who you are on the radio sometimes although i'm gonna call megan out really quick because she did say she'd date someone for a green card which we also know happens yeah canadians

00:07:45 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 2:

everyone has their price

00:07:51 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 5:

listen to some of these texters that are coming in here right now can't talk but i'm a mechanic and girls date me just to fix their cars and your point is uh and then i like this one here i like the uh the texter that says i'm a physical therapist massage therapist she's on she is Hi, what's going on? Line nine. Hello, line nine. What's up? What's your name, line nine? Other than line nine. What's going on?

00:08:22 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 6:

I'm Christina. Hi. What's going on?

00:08:25 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 5:

What's up?

00:08:28 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 6:

I'm a physical therapist, and I have been on dates where literally the guy will start telling me about, like, oh, yeah, my shoulder's been hurting. Can you take a look?

00:08:40 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I can see where that would get annoying, right? What's wrong with me?

00:08:45 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Is that bad?

00:08:46 - 00:08:47 | Unknown:

It comes with a job.

00:08:47 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

It comes with a job. Yeah, I know. My sister's a PT. Actually, I'm going over to her house tonight to get a job. But a massage therapist, when you said massage therapist, Mojo, I was like, oh, yeah, that would be an absolute dating perk. For sure.

00:09:01 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 5:

248 says, I dated a stripper thinking it would be awesome. She never danced for me ever. Ryan, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on, buddy? Hey, Ryan. Hi. How you doing, man? Hey, how you doing? Good. What's going on? First time in a long time.

00:09:20 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Ryan is on the phone.

00:09:22 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 1:

Snuck that one in. I just wanted to say, you know, just like a chef, you know, they don't want to cook when they're at home, but here you are. You talk all day, and, you know, you still manage to talk or what you manage to call foreplay with Chelsea. Well, you heavily pet her, so. Yeah.

00:09:38 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

You know what, though? You say that, and when I get home, and now not so much because Wes doesn't work from home anymore, But when I get home, I don't want to talk to anybody for a while.

00:09:48 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 5:

We've had that as a topic on our We Don't podcast, where we say that one of the worst things is we work in a communications business, but we're the worst communicator.

00:09:56 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

You know, I disagree. Hey, thanks, Ryan.

00:10:00 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

making me have to get into an argument later today at home. By the way, that's the other thing, too, with our job. You ever notice our job sometimes? We actually will do something on the radio, and it always will end up coming up a little bit later. Yeah. So what did you guys talk about on the show today? Nothing? We played a lot of music.

00:10:18 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 2:
