Mojo in the morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Lots of developments on today's show. I would love if we could talk about a couple of other things, and then we'll get back to the big breaking news. Lydia, I saw that you went away for your parents' anniversary with them. So your mom and dad, George and Cyan, were celebrating their anniversary romantically going to Arizona to only have the third wheel with them.

00:02:43 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 3:

And that was me. Yeah. I had so much fun, by the way. Did they invite you? Sorry. Or did you just, like, tag along? Well, my mom mentioned it to me, and then I told her, I was like, oh, I'll watch Pablo. I'll stay home and watch the dog. And then she was like, well, why don't you come? And then she was like, well, if I invite you, then I have to invite your brother and your sister and whatnot. So my dad sent a text inviting all of us, and I was the only one who said I was going to go.

00:03:09 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 5:

And so when you noticed that the others were not going, it didn't make you go, maybe I'll stay home and let it be just them.

00:03:17 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 3:

Nope, and I wasn't going to get my own hotel room. There was no way I was going to pull a dollar out of my pocket.

00:03:22 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 5:

Wait, so you stayed with them?

00:03:24 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I actually slept next to my mom. Hold on a second. You didn't even let your parents sleep together and consummate for 30 years? I told my mom, I was like, I'll spend the day going out somewhere. Maybe I'll go get my nails done. No, she was like, no, it's okay. You can hang out with us.

00:03:43 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 5:

What a C-block. That is, yeah. I can't believe it. It's amazing. Kids do this to you, by the way. The kids always C-block you.

00:03:50 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 4:

He had grown his heels.

00:03:51 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 5:

I know, but at that age, exactly.

00:03:53 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 3:

Like George, you know what I'm saying?

00:03:54 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 5:

Wait, so what was the room set up? Was it two double beds or something like that?

00:03:59 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was two king beds.

00:04:00 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 5:

Where did you guys go? Where were you guys?

00:04:02 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 3:

We were in Scottsdale.

00:04:03 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 5:

And so you guys went to Scottsdale. Did you go to the pool a lot, or did they all go with you to the pool and stuff?

00:04:11 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 3:

Me and my mom went. My dad stayed in the hotel room for most of the time that me and my mom were out doing things.

00:04:16 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 5:

Why didn't your dad just have, like, time at home? One of the things with your dad is your dad works a lot, right?

00:04:24 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, he does.

00:04:25 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 5:

So this was nice for him to take off and, you know, spend time with his, you know, family. But did he have to travel all the way to Arizona to do this thing? Could he have done it in his own house and you guys could have each had rooms and stuff?

00:04:37 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 3:

He really could have stayed home. It was like a girl's trip.

00:04:40 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 5:

Well, no, I'm not saying him not going at all. I'm like saying that. It's his anniversary. Yeah.

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I'm saying, like, at that point, the time that I was spending was just me and my mom. So it could have just been me and my mom at that point for, like, most of it. Oh, God. I introduced him to a man.

00:04:59 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah.

00:05:00 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay, how in the heck did this happen? So since we've talked about Mr. Nuts, is what I'll call him for now.

00:05:08 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 4:

Let's recap that story real quick.

00:05:10 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

Let's not.

00:05:11 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 4:

There's a guy that Lydia knew that she went out to go visit in Arizona a couple weeks ago. And before she was going out to visit him, he asked her what kind of nuts she likes in her mouth. Meaning he was going to get her snacks, supposedly.

00:05:26 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

00:05:27 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Well, allegedly, that was his intention, but his intention, obviously, was stupid. This guy's an idiot. It was a joke.

00:05:35 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 1:

It's fine.

00:05:36 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

And you still wanted your dad to meet this guy? Did you tell your dad that story?

00:05:40 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 1:

I didn't. No, my dad doesn't know any of that, and he shouldn't. Oh, okay. I feel like he's better off not knowing. And if he's listening now, well, he kind of knows.

00:05:49 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I feel, how did it happen then that you, because, like, the last that we left it, you had kind of cut off all contact with Mr. Dutz. Yeah, we weren't in contact. And then I,

00:06:02 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 1:

him, his mom and I text a lot. Like she listens to the show. She loves to talk to me about certain things and she's just great. So her and I were texting and I let her know that I was coming and I would love to see her. And so her and I had made plans and then she brought him into the mix of it that he would be coming along, which I was like, oh, that's great. But we both knew that him and i were in no contact and i had texted him prior to that just wanted just wanted no i texted him like a week week before i had intentions not even coming because i thought i was staying home the entire time i just texted him wanting to clear the air because i knew he had been mad at me for certain things and i had been mad at him for what he said okay so did he apologize by the way for what he said he did okay and through our discussion we were just like okay we'll be better off as friends because he ended up giving me a call after him his mom and i made plans he gave me a call we went through everything both said our apologies and we were like okay we're just gonna be friends that's all it's gonna be was i a little bit butthurt about that i was but i couldn't feel some type of way because we had that falling out and that was gonna be what it was okay anybody

00:07:09 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

else confused no you just never go back she wasn't megan wasn't here megan you were no i i know what

00:07:15 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 2:

happened there but it's like i wanted to cut him off but then i talked to him and then i forgave him and now we're friends but i should cut him off but i went and i saw him like it's gen z there

00:07:24 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 4:

megan that's how they that's how they live their lives you were disrespectful and you were like i

00:07:30 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 1:

deserve to be treated better and now we're talking to him again but that was the one time him and i had a falling out like we've never we've never really argued like that and he realized what he was like not cool yeah and through communication it just sorted itself out and that's all it needed

00:07:47 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 3:

to be okay so if i know you you packed like a hot outfit oh you know i look good of course and you go to dinner and george meets him and what happens so we went to his house

00:08:02 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 1:

we actually went to their house had coffee had dessert it was wonderful

00:08:06 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 4:

coffee and dessert yeah did i didn't get any dessert real quick did when did what was your dad more surprised about the fact that he's learning this morning that this guy wanted to know what nuts you like in your mouth or the fact that this guy was a white kid from arizona

00:08:21 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 1:

my dad loved him really we walked away from that my dad was like i think he's like the best thing ever and he's never talked about any guy that i've introduced to him that way ever i would

00:08:32 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 4:

have thought your dad wants you to stay with him being a chaldean no he seemed like he was like so

00:08:38 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 1:

thrilled i mean he doesn't know that him and i had romantically talked oh so your mom had your mom ever met him oh yeah my mom had met him before and so you thought he was great so your dad likes

00:08:49 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 4:

him because he thinks that this is a guy friend of yours could be i don't know what my dad exactly

00:08:55 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

your dad's not your dad he's also very quiet he keeps himself he's not done but also you don't

00:09:00 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 3:

fly across the country and go, Dad, come meet this guy. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Let's give George a little bit of

00:09:06 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 4:

credit here. But, I don't know. I don't necessarily think that George sometimes gets things. No offense to George. He's a very smart guy. I could see George going, oh, this is one of her guy friends. She has a lot of friends. When Reese and I went back to the birthday party for you a couple, three years ago, whatever it was, we showed up there. She's got a bajillion and friends, and there's men, women, you know, all these people. So I could see where he would think

00:09:34 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

that this is just a guy. But not that she's wearing a tight-ass dress visiting in Arizona. No, I just came from church.

00:09:40 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait. First, I was in a dress and tights, but I did just come from Mass.

00:09:44 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay. But did you have

00:09:46 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 1:

good underwear on?

00:09:47 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

Her dad hopefully doesn't know that.

00:09:49 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

You can't see my underwear on. Yeah, but I'm asking you. I did wear underwear, yes. But did you have the good ones? Because there are the good ones and the bad ones and we both know what we're talking about. I was wearing good ones.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 3:

But in all fairness, she's not all of a sudden going to leave dad and mom with this guy's mom.

00:10:06 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 5:

No, she was too busy see-blocking mom and dad to go see this guy.

00:10:10 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I find this to be extremely strange. Call me crazy. And this is why I find it strange. A, we went on the air and talked about this guy and how immature he was in his comments about the nuts thing. And Lydia goes back to these guys all the time, which to me is crazy. and don't get me started say that again and this time okay and this time she brings back her parents which is the ultimate of you should never introduce your family to questionable characters and this guy is definitely a questionable character he's not a questionable

00:10:47 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 1:

okay so i will stick up for lydia i will stick up for lydia here and you all know i was very very upset when i heard what this guy said to her the fact that he came back and knew that what he said was not cool and extraordinarily inappropriate and apologized, I say we can give him a second chance.

00:11:05 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 3:

Why? Why do you think he apologized? Are you saying why to me or why to her? I'm saying why to you, Shannon?

00:11:11 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 1:

Because I think that that's important that he recognized what he said was like not kosher.

00:11:20 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 4:

His apology? I do.

00:11:22 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 1:

That's up to Lydia to decide. But I do.

00:11:24 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

And I forgave him for that. And he forgave me for some of the things that I've said and I've talked about him and whatnot. It's over. That's it.

00:11:34 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 1:

You even said in relationships that you've been in in the past, you've done or said things that you're like, you deserve another chance.

00:11:40 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, for sure. But I think that... So this is his other chance. I don't believe he was being sincere.

00:11:46 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 1:

He does something to her again. We ride it on. And we're all going to Arizona. Don't you also think that

00:11:51 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

if you disrespect somebody... Sorry, I'm trying to get my thoughts in a row if you disrespect somebody that early into a relationship isn't that kind of a red flag to be like this is where the it's happening already i can see where you're seeing it from that angle for sure you know what i mean like how many times had you seen him in person okay a handful of times before you went out there correct twice twice before you went out there and then this happened as you were going out there but you guys talked all the time yeah but there this is a new step right like if you're traveling across the country to see somebody that's different from talking online or via text with somebody to then seeing you in person that's like essentially the third time seeing each other he disrespects you like that that's wild it sounds to me like

00:12:37 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 2:

lydia is afraid of this mother no i'm not afraid i like him and i'm just gonna come right out and say it you like this guy i do i met him i really liked him um and now it is what it is and when

00:12:49 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 4:

you like people. What is it? You're able to tolerate

00:12:51 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 2:

more. He knows I like him. You look past to their flaws. Exactly. You guys. His immaturity. Let up. Let up off him. It's the facts. Come on. He's going to listen to his podcast

00:12:59 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 3:

and he's going to be very upset that we're saying all this stuff, but he's kind of an immature goofball. So I, I, uh, I

00:13:07 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 5:

I love when you call people goofballs. He's a goofball.

00:13:09 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was going to say he's a, he's kind of a stupid dumb son of a bitch. Stop! But You guys! You stupid done, son of a bitch. Isn't that the drop that I play here?

00:13:21 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 5:

Gene Wilder's one?

00:13:23 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 3:

Stupid done, son of a bitch.

00:13:26 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 5:

Right? You nailed it. Stupid dumbass. Yeah, that's what he is right there.

00:13:32 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 3:

I think that this guy and your dad should go on a long car ride together in the middle of the Arizona desert. And he should have to explain the D's nut story to your dad before he's allowed to be

00:13:46 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 5:

Because I will tell you this

00:13:51 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 3:

Your dad scares me From afar Let alone if I was in a car with him Driving with him You know what I mean Do you ever see what her dad looks like You know what he looks like No he looks like the guy First off he looks like the guy That will take you out back And beat the crap out of you if you say something wrong To his daughter Hence D's nuts

00:14:14 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 5:

right i just need you to say that every day i feel like he's nuts he was he was definitely

00:14:22 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 4:

joking you know it's literally it's quiet on us it took it a little too serious but i think sometimes as guys sometimes we don't mean our apologies yeah just trying to get back to your good graces and we know that by acting like you know we understand our flaws and our faults and promising that's not who we are i just had a brief moment well he's already it was he can gain

00:14:42 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 2:

nothing by being my friend like we gave the friend is just a step in the right direction

00:14:50 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 4:

to get in your draws

00:14:51 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe I have three of you on me like that like it's fine it was one thing

00:14:58 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 3:

should he have to apologize to us too i think so i don't even know him it ain't gonna mean nothing by the way i want to be

00:15:05 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 2:

in the car with george driving i just want to sit in the back seat i'll i'll hold the the camera the the live uh facebook live that we're going to be doing when we do this thing um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number um has anybody ever introduced their dad to somebody that was a little sketchy and everything turned out okay after dad had a conversation. Because this is big. The fact that George actually liked him is interesting. The fact that Lydia's dad actually was good. Because I would have said right off the bat, ain't nothing like that happening. Maybe it was also the fact that your dad was upset over the fact that his daughter came on his anniversary trip. He was just trying to get the hell out of there.

00:15:50 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 5:

He paid a lot of money to knock it late. They rebooked a different trip. Oh, my God.

00:15:56 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 3:

Redo.

00:15:56 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 2:

And when are you going with that? What's the over-under? I can't come to that. Exactly. Hold on. Let me give the word out, and then I want to take some calls on this. The word for our giveaway of $1,000, the first one.

00:16:42 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 1:

MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:16:44 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 2:

Jenny, what did you want to say about Lydia and the D's Nuts guy?

00:16:48 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 1:

I thought that everyone on the show can be very immature, which I love, by the way. It's funny to me, but you guys are calling this guy out for being immature.

00:17:00 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the only call she calls back is the one coming after us.

00:17:04 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 1:

No, I called them all. No one's answering. Come on, you guys, let up off me. I'm on Lydia's side because I'm a girl and it happens. If she likes the guy, he's a little immature and funny. Let it go.

00:17:17 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but we also all have that one friend who just won't let people go that they should let go of. Yeah, that too. So you're saying I'm right, I'm going to take it. But I agree with you, Megan, when there's like a very, very repeated pattern or if it was something right out of the gate that was so like horrible. I mean, this was, yeah, what he said was inappropriate, but I do think he deserves another chance.

00:17:42 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 2:

I think that that's the case too, but I think she also needs to explain to her dad what this guy did.

00:17:47 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 5:

See, I actually disagree with you here. I think there are some things better left and known for George, and the Deez Nuts convo is one of them. I think forgiveness is great if you were meeting for coffee. Flying across the country is so different.

00:18:00 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 2:

She flew across the country to go meet him twice now, but one time he did that whole thing. She was going to be there by herself without her parents, and he said that. I think that was telling. With that said, should he get forgiveness? Absolutely. I'd give him a little forgiveness too. But I think the guy also has to pay for his crime. What's going on, Ricky?

00:18:20 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 4:

How's it going, Mojo and the crew?

00:18:22 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Come on, man.

00:18:23 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 4:

I think you guys been too hard with Kevin and Mojo, kind of. Because as men, we all make mistakes. We all say things we shouldn't say. But it's something in him that she likes and she sees. We have to support and give a chance. Get a guy a chance. He might be a husband one day. You know what I'm saying? Look, I understand completely.

00:18:44 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry for cutting you off.

00:18:44 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 4:

I mean, he didn't cuss around. He didn't cuss around. He didn't call to this and that. He said, what kind of nuts you like? Play like that as men.

00:18:52 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 3:

Agreed. You know what I'm saying? Agreed.

00:18:53 - 00:18:59 | Speaker 4:

But at the same time, us being men, we look at it the wrong way.

00:18:59 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 3:

No, bro. You know what I'm saying? Let me say this real quick. I understand completely where you're coming from. Understand the totality of what you're saying. That was the position I took when Lydia first brought this to our attention off air. Completely where you were. What you're not getting is Lydia's disdain, not only for the comment, but her disdain for him and said, this is a pattern. It wasn't just the one comment. She done said a bunch of stuff about old boy that she let go.

00:19:23 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 5:

I did not hear anything else besides that. I'm telling you what I done heard. Okay, so I did not know that. I want to hear that. So let's talk about it.

00:19:30 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 4:

Well, I didn't know that, Kevin. You said Buddy was hella immature. But she's still with it, though. Okay, because the comment was immature.

00:19:39 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't think that this guy is a bad guy. I actually think he's probably a sweet guy. He's probably dumb like I am. And I think that he just needs to know his words. And honestly, sometimes I think that you have to repent a little bit for his words. I just know Chelsea's dad took me on a car ride. And I want this guy to go on a car ride.

00:20:00 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 9:

Mary, Chelsea's take Chelsea's hand. Chelsea's dad made me go on a car ride and a trip to Denny's. We did. We had to go on to Denny's and sit there. Oh my God, literally. I'll never go to Denny's ever again for that reason. What's up, Asia?

00:20:17 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, so I think y'all are being really hard, specifically Megan. It's really, really, she's like, you know, we all got that one friend who shouldn't be with somebody. They've never even been together. They're still feeling each other out and so now he knows that kind of joke is inappropriate but i bet you if lydia was in a different head space and initially heard that when she you know when he gave the joke she

00:20:40 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 8:

probably could have just brushed it off all right now i was not going to address what you're addressing but lydia put the call through so she's fine with it let's not pretend we don't have a history and this isn't a pattern with people this is a pattern for me what i mean yeah

00:20:56 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 5:

That is a pattern for me.

00:20:57 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. And what this comes from is because we've seen you go through this before. We're being friends. We're trying to protect you from doing the same thing. 1,000%. You know what I mean?

00:21:05 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 5:

You guys are not the bad guy. It's just like when I'm in this moment and I'm like, oh, my God, I'm actually kind of happy to like re-explore something. And then everyone's like, no.

00:21:13 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 9:

No.

00:21:13 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 5:

Stake him.

00:21:14 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 9:

I agree. And I agree with you, Lydia. I think this guy actually is fine. But I think that you have been with some losers. This guy is definitely not as big a loser as the last guy that you dated. That guy was...

00:21:28 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 8:

We don't know. We haven't spent enough time with him. But we do know that he disrespected her right off the bat.

00:21:33 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 9:

This guy actually seems more quality. And I like that.

00:21:37 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 8:

I just think she deserves more respect. I don't know how I'm the bad guy for that. You're not a bad guy.

00:21:42 - 00:21:44 | Speaker 9:

Don't ask me about people. Mark, what's up?

00:21:45 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 3:

Mojo. Yes. Good morning, sir. Good morning. You know, you and Kevin are partial right. Us guys, we say and do stupid stuff. But I think you and Kevin are treating Lydia this way because you know that Kevin likes Lydia and you want Kevin to be with Lydia. That's it. That's exactly it. He wants the complete opposite. He does not want me to be with Lydia.

00:22:14 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 9:

And to correct, I don't like Lydia. I love Lydia. by the way the best the best text ever from it was from misfit victor just sent in a text and he said george only likes him because he's 9 000 miles away which might have a little bit of truth to the whole deal lydia would you oh my god are we gonna have two announcements today of people leaving the show would you leave the show to move to Arizona.

00:22:45 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 5:

Don't even say this. Come on. I just have, I like this guy. I never said I was like up and out right now.

00:22:52 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 9:

Okay.

00:22:52 - 00:22:53 | Speaker 5:

You talked to his mom.

00:22:54 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 9:

I would like to have a conversation with his mom and him on the radio.

00:22:57 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:22:58 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 9:

Never know. Let's make that happen. All right. And George, I want to, we got to get George a redo anniversary. Poor guy was just looking for it. He couldn't even sleep in the same bed, is he? He wanted to grab on to Cyan. He couldn't because Lydia was in the bed with her, for God's sakes.
