Download the Modo Casino app today. It's Mojo in the morning. Last night was our anniversary. Chelsea and I had a great time. I want to talk a couple of times this morning about that just because I want everybody to know that I got some last night. I was very excited.

00:02:04 - 00:02:08 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations. Do not take Oprah that way.

00:02:09 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 6:

And I won't get too into it because I know that your kids could be listening. But I do want to tell you, this was even bigger than on our wedding night because on our wedding night, I got none. And I say this because of Chelsea and I were reminiscing a little bit last night while we were at dinner talking about getting married and how, you know, wow, where has time gone and look at everything, you know. I actually asked her the question. I said, if you could do it all over again, would you do it all over again? And she goes, absolutely. She goes, I would go right back to zero. I would do it all over again. And I said to her, I go, wow, that's cool. I said, you know, you wanted to spend that much more time with me? And she goes, no, I want the kids. I was like, okay, great. But it's wild, though, to think about that. Like, would you go back and just start from scratch all over again? Or would you just continue and do what you're doing right now? Because I had the same answer, too. And I thought that that was actually kind of cool to be able to think back and go, man, because I can remember the wedding day so vividly. Can you? I really can. I remember we got married at Our Mother of Sorrows, and then I remember the reception was in Trail Dust Town. This is in Tucson. So it's Trail Dust Town, which was like an old western-y type town, and they had a place there called the Savoy Opera House, which was like a little hall that you have weddings at. And then I remember we went to Arizona Inn, which is a hotel. I think it's still in Tucson. It's right by U of A, the University of Arizona. and I remember the night was raining, Megan, and Chelsea has told this story before on the air because she's made me try to look bad. But I remember that I parked and I said, hang on right here. I'll be right back. I'm going to go in and check in. She did not hear me say that. I went in, checked us into the hotel, only to see some strange man with my wife because he saw her trying to walk in the rain in the hotel thinking that I had left her behind. And then that night we go back into the hotel room and we got into a little bit of an argument because she said that, you know, I left her behind. Which honestly, probably I did. And I probably didn't say to her, I'm going to check us in, but it sounds good right now. And we ended up going back to the room. She fell asleep. She passed out from being so tired and we had no sex that night.

00:04:39 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 1:

Don't most people not sleep together on their wedding night? Why? It's the longest day ever. Yeah, it's super long. But I mean, you've got to go to sleep, though. I would think you would go to sleep with the person you just married.

00:04:49 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 2:

No, you don't. Like, do you know what concept? Baked cookies. Yeah, like, have sex.

00:04:52 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 1:

No. He said go to sleep with her. No, sleep with her. I'm trying. No, sleep with her.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Kids are listening. Baked cookies. Sorry, guys.

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 2:

But honestly, most people don't, I don't think. I think most people do have cookie baking.

00:05:06 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I thought it was the opposite. I thought most people don't. Like somebody gets too drunk or you're all very tired. It's a really long day. Or I know a lot of brides who like sleep in their wedding dresses.

00:05:16 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:05:17 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 5:

Yes. It's so hard to get off.

00:05:18 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

All right. I want to ask this question then. Let's ask the question. Did you or didn't you? But I want to know why you didn't if you didn't. Because I would think, like if I was going to get married nowadays, the first thing that I would do is as soon as we got done saying the I do's before we even went to take pictures at wherever I would say let's have sex let's consummate the relationship

00:05:39 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

yeah

00:05:40 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 2:

you did

00:05:43 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 4:

well at our when we eloped in Arizona we did that night but that was easy because it was just us it was a vacation there wasn't this big long day of activities but when we had our party here in Detroit I don't know that I've ever shared this We had our party on the rooftop that all of you guys came to, and then we bar hopped. But in between the party and the bar hop, we did. Thank you.

00:06:09 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:06:10 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:06:10 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 2:

But you also have told the story on the air. Your first marriage, you guys did not have. We did not.

00:06:16 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Right. It's kind of weird to talk about now. But yeah, we did not. We woke up with a pizza box in our bed. That's...

00:06:22 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 5:

We had like night food. Cookie baking. I almost said something way worse. Cake baking.

00:06:28 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Do you think, Shannon, that you learned from the the first one that, hey, we're going to do this or or it just happened?

00:06:37 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

I think it was the same situation for Wes in his first marriage. So it was a topic of discussion that we were like, we have to do it because it has to be different.

00:06:46 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 2:

Right. Yeah. And you and honestly, some a lot of times people will say like I've heard people that end up going through, you know, a divorce or something like that. they'll say that it was a sign of things to come. They'll say, ah, we didn't even have sex on our wedding night. It's a sign of things to come, which not all people that don't have sex on their wedding night end up in divorce. I mean, obviously, Chelsea and I have not. But I think that's great that you guys did that. I think that should be the new thing, the new tradition, that you guys end up fooling around at the church.

00:07:20 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 4:

We were not at the church. Oh, doing the confessional. We were at the hotel.

00:07:24 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 1:

Is it really like that when you get married where you can't say, listen, we're going to prioritize this because this is our wedding day, we want to consummate our marriage, or is it that busy? You can't just be like, listen, I don't want to take pictures right now, we're going to carve out this however long.

00:07:43 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 4:

You can do whatever you want.

00:07:44 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 1:

It's your day.

00:07:45 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 5:

I can also understand this is the worst place for this to happen, so please hear me out, but I would love to do it in the tabernacle, which has to be the most disrespectful place, but it's all gold. It's beautiful. You'll go to hell. Yeah, but it's the most luxurious place in the world.

00:07:59 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

All right. I want to know, did you or did you not on your wedding night? Did you consummate your relationship? Hannah, yes or no?

00:08:06 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

No. No. No, we didn't. And, you know, as a woman, like, you want to get out of your dress the first thing when you get home because it's so tight. So I'm screaming for my husband. I'm like, hey, you know, I need your help. I'm looking for him. He fell asleep on the toilet. Oh. So I'm, like, screaming for him to help me, and, yeah, so that did not end well. He'll never leave that down.

00:08:29 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

Wait, the relationship didn't end well?

00:08:31 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 3:

No, no, we're still married at 14 years, but that night I was, like, expecting something else, and he was just so drunk.

00:08:38 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 2:

You could not even get him to sober up a little bit just to get, you know, a little fun?

00:08:42 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 3:

He fell asleep on the toilet.

00:08:45 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I get it. All right. Jennifer, yes or no? Jennifer, did you guys consummate the relationship?

00:08:51 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:08:52 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

No?

00:08:53 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 6:

Why not? No. Well, we eloped. We were on an island, and he ended up, after the end of the day, he ended up inviting some random strangers up to our room for drinks. And then the best part is he gave my bottle of vodka to them. And at the end of the night, he was too far gone, and nothing happened.

00:09:19 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, no. Geez. And are you guys still together?

00:09:23 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. We are. And it's the first time on time. Yeah. She's on the phone.

00:09:29 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

And she's not talking about sex with her husband. She's talking about listening to our show. We love you. Take care. We love you.

00:09:38 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 5:

I love you.

00:09:39 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I love you.

00:09:41 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 5:

Me and all my personalities love you.

00:09:44 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Shay, did you or did you not?

00:09:47 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

We did, but there was a whole situation. So he had come back from, he was on leave from the Navy, and we had a six-week-old baby. He had just seen her for the first time. We eloped in Ohio. We were 18. My parents drove us down.

00:10:00 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 4:

there was this whole thing. So we were exhausted. We did bake cookies, but I used the contraceptive sponge, which has been pulled off the shelf since then. I ended up in the emergency room. They told me they thought I had gonorrhea, and so I was like, ready to go and annul the marriage. He had to leave the next day. It was this whole situation. It turned out it was just a reaction to the sponge. Oh, my God. But it was horrible.

00:10:22 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 2:

By the way, not gonorrhea. Right. Gonorrhea, by the way, would definitely ruin the vibe. No, I was going to say, although going to the ER on your wedding night for having sex would make me go, I'll tell the story, but I just won't say the gonorrhea part.

00:10:40 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but I would go psychotic if gonorrhea said it that fast.

00:10:43 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 2:

Just the name alone. It's like top five craziest titles, bro. Initial C would like to be voice disguised. Initial C. Hi, did you or did you not on your wedding night have sex?

00:10:54 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 1:

I heard Lil Wayne saw it, though. He did not and didn't do it for two weeks. He spent the wedding night on the phone with a dude that he helped his wife cheat. He helped the wife cheat on. What? For a year and a half. Yeah. I was young. I was stupid.

00:11:13 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 2:

Start all over again. We start all over again. You guys did not on your wedding night and didn't do it for two weeks because why?

00:11:21 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Didn't do it for two weeks. But on the wedding night, he spent an hour and a half with a man, the husband of a woman that my husband helped cheat on, helped his man cheat on this man. So he spent an hour and a half on the phone with him.

00:11:40 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

He was on the phone with him. So he wasn't like having sex with the man. He was on the phone with the guy. Why was he on the phone with the guy? Did the guy suspect that your husband was messing with his girl or what?

00:11:50 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 1:

it was like a year and a half after that so i honestly to this day don't even know

00:11:58 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 2:

why he did that did anybody get gonorrhea i know let's hope not to my knowledge i wasn't involved in that messing around okay yeah we're hoping so because the guy cheated on her okay you're right

00:12:11 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 6:

you're right i'm sorry i'm sorry you just don't hear that often i hope you get gonorrhea we wish

00:12:16 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 2:

gonorrhea upon you uh sarah what's up sarah how you doing we're talking about sex on the wedding night or not on the wedding night did you guys have it we did not what did you do instead not

00:12:30 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 5:

well after our wedding in toledo we went to top shop and we danced our hearts away we closed down the bar then we went home which my parents took us home and we decided to walk to rallies in toledo

00:12:44 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 3:

Hell yeah, dude.

00:12:46 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 5:

And then, like, right after we got home, his mom showed up right when we were going to bake cookies to take us to the airport at 4 a.m. to go to our honeymoon in Mexico.

00:12:57 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 6:

But be honest, Sarah. Sometimes the Big Buford better than baking cookies.

00:13:01 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 3:

Big Buford.

00:13:02 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 6:

Better than baking cookies.

00:13:04 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 5:

I don't think Raleigh's is open anymore, but. Yes, it is. Oh, it is. Don't worry. I haven't been there recently.

00:13:10 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

You can still Buford if you want. Yep. Listen to Laura. Laura, did you or did you not, Laura, have sex on your wedding night?

00:13:20 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 6:

I did not, but my husband consummated the marriage with my maid of honor. Laura. Wait. What? How did that happen, and how did you find out about that? I had left my purse, and I went in, and there was the limo rocking. In the limo? In the limo. At the reception? What did they do? What did they say to you? They were drunk. It just happened. And I'm like, okay, bye. So I went on my honeymoon myself and never spoke to him again. Yes! What about your maid of honor? What about your friend? I didn't speak to her either. Good. Good for you.

00:14:13 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. What a story. Bye. Yeah, that's a crazy one. Could you imagine that? You walk out. Where's my husband at? Where's my maid of honor at? They're in the limo. Where was the limo driver during this whole thing?

00:14:27 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 6:

He was, I don't know where he was, but yeah.

00:14:31 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. Thank you for the call, Laura. We appreciate you. Kendra just got married on Saturday. Did you or did you not, Kendra? Congrats.

00:14:41 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 5:

Yes, we did.

00:14:43 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and congratulations on the brand new nuptials.

00:14:50 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 5:

So we did consummate, but we got married at my best friend's farm, and then we came home at like 9 o'clock because...

00:15:00 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 6:

I'm an old soul, and I was tired. But he went and laid down on the couch and thought he was going to go to sleep. So I texted him. I'm like, hello, aren't we going to continue the marriage? And so, yeah, we did end up doing it, but I had to text him first. Took a little work. What is wrong with him?

00:15:19 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 5:

Mommy wants to have some sex. I like that, by the way.

00:15:22 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 6:

That's good.

00:15:23 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 5:

You can go back to the couch afterwards. You'll have 35 years of couch time if you want it.

00:15:32 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 2:

I hope you get gonorrhea and mommy wants some sex. Both things that came out of his mouth.

00:15:38 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 5:

And don't forget, maid of honor in the limo. Dad's story is crazy.

00:15:43 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 4:
