00:01:48 - 00:01:53 | Speaker 6:

choke on nothing though i inhaled my spit and i could not get it out i'm sorry can you by the

00:01:53 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 9:

You're like, could you die doing something like that? Like, I wondered about that.

00:01:56 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 6:

I think you can. See, that's Final Destination. It felt like it.

00:02:00 - 00:02:00 | Unknown:

Oh, God.

00:02:01 - 00:02:01 | Speaker 9:

That would suck.

00:02:01 - 00:02:02 | Speaker 6:

Did you hear me out there? No.

00:02:02 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 9:

That would suck. Like, I always thought to myself that my sister, Pat, told me a story one time, and I don't know if this is a wise tale or not, about a woman, a fat woman who died on a chicken bone.

00:02:15 - 00:02:16 | Speaker 3:

Ugh. A dream.

00:02:17 - 00:02:18 | Speaker 9:

And that was how she died.

00:02:18 - 00:02:20 | Speaker 3:

Megan Mick. What? I'm hungry.

00:02:21 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 9:

The woman ate so much food so fast that she died, and it was literally like a chicken bone, like a wishbone that she died on. A wishbone. Yeah, she choked to death. And I thought to myself, if I die one day and it ends up being a hot dog that I die on.

00:02:37 - 00:02:46 | Speaker 3:

Dude, did I ever tell you about the time I was like, can you give yourself the Heimlich in my apartment alone? Because I was like, if I die choking on food, the headlines that will run will.

00:02:47 - 00:02:54 | Speaker 9:

It's the worst feeling in the world. To me, if I'm going to die, I want to get hit by a car or something. Right.

00:02:55 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 10:

This reminds me of dumb ways to die.

00:03:00 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 9:

That's the worst. And I've said this to Chelsea, that if I die in my sleep, will she just take off my clothes and tell everybody that we actually were doing something with each other at that moment? Because I want to have a good story behind it. I just don't want it to be fat guy falls asleep at night and never wakes up.

00:03:19 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 5:

Didn't Matthew McConaughey's mom or dad die that way? It was one or the other. Am I making that up in my head? I don't want to die.

00:03:25 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 10:

I don't want to die like that.

00:03:26 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 5:

I feel like one of them died because he or she had a heart attack during sex. I swear.

00:03:31 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 9:

I can't be killed like that.

00:03:31 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 5:

I could be making that up.

00:03:33 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 9:

I can't be killed like that. But you also don't want to die at the old country buffet, do you?

00:03:37 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 10:

Not on no wish ball. No?

00:03:39 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 9:

Hell no. Now, that's weak. You doffed the chicken? How would you like to die during all-you-can-eat crab legs at the lodge? You know what I mean?

00:03:47 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 10:

I would want to die, like, game seven, Pistons, at home, K hit a three, we win a championship, and I'm like, let's go, and then my heart gives out, like, or something like that.

00:03:59 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. Not on no chicken. That would actually, but that's a great story, and if you didn't die during that moment, you just had a heart attack while you were pushing out a poo, you know?

00:04:10 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 5:

Also a very popular way to die. Really? Yeah. On the potty, yes.

00:04:15 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 9:

Oh, I don't know. like i don't want that to happen i don't want to have not at all i can't can't have that it's too too stereotypical what's up kelly how you doing it's mojo in the morning

00:04:25 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

hi so i just seen a tiktok about matthew mcconaughey and he said that his dad always wanted to go out baking cookies and it actually happened so yeah his mom and dad were baking cookies and then she they were wheeling them out because he had a heart attack after and they put the cover over him and the mom was like nope he wants to be seen how he went out like let that body show and i just thought that was so funny that you just said that

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. So do you know if there was a smile on his face? Like, did he have? Oh, face. Like, do you die with it?

00:05:07 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm sure there was. I'm sure. His parents in a cult? His dad was very attractive.

00:05:11 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Let's not go morbid with this. This is a great story.

00:05:15 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 1:

If there were a cult, I don't know. Hey, this is Matthew McConaughey. You're waking up with Mojo in the morning. Just keep living. Yes.

00:05:21 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 2:

Just keep living, Dad. Joe, what's up, Joe?

00:05:27 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning, guys. How are you? Good morning. Fantastic. Long time caller, first time talking. Hey, Joe's on the phone.

00:05:35 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you got me on that one. Go ahead.

00:05:38 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 3:

Hey, tell Megan.

00:05:39 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 5:

That works.

00:05:41 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 2:

You can give yourself the Heimlich, you said?

00:05:43 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, I had to Google it. I had to watch a YouTube video real quick. I was praying for no ad.

00:05:49 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:05:50 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:05:51 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

So what do you do? You bend over a chair and just push in?

00:05:55 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 5:

And then grab that seat and pull it in.

00:05:58 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 2:

Wow. I've given the Heimlich to two people in my life. Really? I saved Jeff Dollar, who used to work on The Burt Show. I saved him when he was trying to swallow too big of a piece of steak. And then I gave the Heimlich to Ben West, who was a little kid. I gave him the kitty Heimlich. He was swallowing a hot dog.

00:06:20 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:06:20 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 2:

I am a hero.

00:06:22 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 4:

You made a difference in two lives.

00:06:24 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I appreciate that. I feel like it. Real quick, Joe, wouldn't it be amazing if when we did a first-time long-time, Kev died during the screaming out a person's name? Joe's on the phone. Wait, Kev, are you okay? I hate this topic. Oh, my God.

00:06:44 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 5:

The last radio host that did this topic died the next day. I do not like this topic. I want to move on.

00:06:51 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 2:

RIP Kid Credit. What's going on, Alyssa?

00:06:54 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

hi alissa hi hi i just wanted to come on here and say um i actually was alone in my house at one point and i started choking on something and i had to push the couch out away from the wall to do the heimlich against the back of the couch damn that's scary what were you eating I was eating pizza.

00:07:21 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. After that, was it nothing but yogurt or something afterwards? Like, I wouldn't eat anything solid after that.

00:07:29 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

Mashed potatoes, yogurt, ice cream, anything soft.

00:07:33 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

Can you imagine you die that way? That would suck.

00:07:36 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

A piece of pizza. I was taking a nap in the other room, and he's only four, so I was terrified.

00:07:42 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's awful. Wait, real quick. What kind of pizza? Please say Papa Romano's.

00:07:48 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 4:

Um, no, I'm pretty sure it was Little Caesars.

00:07:51 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

Little Caesars. You know what? I eat Little Caesars. I want to die after eating that, too.

00:07:55 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't say that. That's not rude. No, the garlic and pork. Dude, I had all Little Caesars. Yeah. That crazy bread?

00:08:04 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

Fact. What's slap?

00:08:05 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 5:

Little Caesars.

00:08:06 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

Little Caesars pizza is like a McDonald's french fry. You could just leave it in your microwave for about a year, pull it out of there, and it tastes the same. What's going on? How you doing, Susan?

00:08:18 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Hi. So back in the day, around 40, I actually did give my husband a heart attack while baking a massive double batch of cookies. Oh.

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

Double. Double. Yeah. Double batch. Get it, girl.

00:08:38 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Is that a confidence boost? Yeah. We were baking a lot in those days. And so anyhow. Oh, she's talking sex. But she said baking cookies. Welcome to the party, my girl.

00:08:51 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 2:

She was really baking cookies. I'm sorry. You gave him a double batch of cookies.

00:09:00 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

I did, and he had a heart attack. He couldn't handle it. Oh, Sarah. So it was like 1 o'clock in the morning, and he said he didn't feel well, so he went downstairs, and I flipped the TV on, and he came back in, and he said his chest hurt, and he fell on the bed. So me thinking, I've got to get him to the hospital. So I was like two miles away from the hospital at the time, fire department in the middle. So I throw him in my car, leave the kids at home sleeping, went by the way of the firehouse, looked at him, he was still good, went to the hospital. He needed three stents in his heart after that baking session. But here's the funniest part. So the doctor comes out after a while, and he's talking to me. He's asking questions, a lot of questions. Like, did he have a physical? I said a month ago. He was healthy as can be. His cholesterol is 111. You know what I'm going on? And now the doctor can tell I'm holding my breath because I unconsciously hold my breath.

00:10:00 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 4:

breath and I don't know why when I'm upset oh my god she's gonna kill me with the rest of the story yeah no he says so did you get to finish oh and I just gasped for air and I looked at him and he said okay you're breathing again oh oh wow so he asked yeah so he asked the question but yeah I mean real quick stop for a second Sarah Sarah was it were you or Susan I'm sorry

00:10:29 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 6:

Susan, what position were you guys? Were you guys missionary, or what was it? She was on top.

00:10:35 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 4:

We were all over the damn place. Oh, God. I'm going to joke again. Yeah, and you know, I mean, I don't know, because it went from licking the spoon to, you know, doing the batter.

00:10:49 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 2:

Susan. We've got to be done. No, Susan. No, no, she's talking about baking cookies.

00:10:54 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 5:

I love her analogy. She was talking about baking cookies. That was good.

00:10:58 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 6:

Susan, she makes me nervous. You guys are nerds. Susan makes me nervous.

00:11:02 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 5:

Them white macadamians over there. Susan, I see you.

00:11:06 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 6:

Susan. Oh, my God. I'm going to end on that one. That was a good call. All right. Don't you want to know what Susan looks like? Susan.

00:11:17 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 5:

And she said back in the day.

00:11:19 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 2:

I want Susan in a habit. That's what I want Susan in.

00:11:22 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 5:

White macadamia, they oatmeal raisin. They're still cookies.

00:11:28 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 2:
