I think Reynolds was the only guy I kind of knew. You know what I mean? It was interesting. This quarterback guy is interesting that they started. The guy, I think. Kyle Allen, I think was his name. Yeah, he was back up over with Pittsburgh. I thought for sure that we would see maybe a little bit more of the younger guys that they drafted. But I didn't even see any of those guys.

Hutch being down there, being healthy and ready to go. How much are you salivating to get back on the field and hit somebody?

Oh, man, you have no idea, man. It's been a long time without football in my life, and camp's been fun so far, but I'm just, I can't wait for that week one in Lambeau. You know, it's going to be electric, man. It's been a long offseason, so I'm ready to jump back.

I can't wait for week one. He's salivating.

And Coach Dan Campbell talking about how things are going so far this year.

Well, I think just going back to work, you know, with the guys that we have, man, you know, every year, man, when you fall a little bit short of what the ultimate goal is, man, you don't take those things for granted. You want to make sure you don't repeat that mistake, and every little thing matters, and so that's where we're at. Our guys, we start over.

And you have a new offensive and defensive coordinator. What challenges does that present?

Well, it's just about us all working together in the communication. and the good news is that I've worked with both of these guys, and they're outstanding coaches. It's just about now that they're in those roles, us being all on the same page, which we will work out all the kinks before the season gets here.

I don't like him in the booth, though, Dan. I think that John Morton needs to be on the field, headsets on the field, but I guess he's an in-the-booth guy. And if you don't know the difference, he's calling all the plays from up top, which is very college football-y, but also they do it a lot in the pros. but Dan seems like the type of guy that needs to get his hands on a guy. He needs to look at, remember how he was with Ben? They have conversations.

Physiology is huge, and that ability to walk over and just have a quick conversation as opposed to, hey, can you hear me? Are you in there? You lose some of that.

They say that usually offensive coordinators like to be up there because they can kind of see which the field looks like, but I don't know.

It's like us being in different studios and trying to do a show. That's kind of what I equate it to.

All right, another quick Diddy update for you. His legal team just filed a motion seeking to overturn his convictions or be granted an entirely new trial. So again, Diddy convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution under what's called the Mann Act. And his attorneys argue that this application of this law is potentially unconstitutional. Their argument, these freak offs that we heard so much about were consensual and protected under the First Amendment as private, non-commercial, amateur pornography. They also contend that the trial was influenced by.

prejudicial evidence unrelated to the charges, particularly when it comes to that 2016 video involving Diddy and Cassie. So they are requesting a retrial with limited evidence. Again, he is awaiting sentencing that's supposed to happen on October 3rd. Kamala Harris says America's political system is broken and that is why she is not running for California governor. That's what She told Stephen Colbert last night in her first interview since the 2024 election. She said she so wants to serve, just not from inside a system that she believes is not strong enough to stand up to threats like President Donald Trump. And she was also asked about the moment she knew she was going to have to take over the Democratic presidential campaign from former President Joe Biden. And she really skirted around that question.

Let me say something about Joe Biden. i have an incredible amount of respect for him and um i think that the way that we should be thinking about where we are right now is to remember that we had a president of the united states who believed in the rule of law who believed in the importance of aspiring to have integrity and to do the work on behalf of the people. Come on, Shannon.
