you got in this hour's dirty on the 30 so starting off with tiktok tiktok's days in the u.s are numbered as all of us are very aware sunday at midnight is that magic time now a couple of things here. President-elect Donald Trump might issue an executive order that would suspend the TikTok ban that is scheduled to go into effect this weekend in a move that would prevent U.S. officials from enforcing that law for at least 60 to 90 days. So there would be a chance during that time period that it could be saved. But the timing is interesting, right? Because Trump's inauguration is Monday, one day after the nationwide ban is expected to be made official. So I don't know how that's going to work but again if the ban happens you would still be able to use tiktok but new downloads would be blocked and its software would slowly degrade over time because

of a lack of updates his uh attorney general nominee was being interviewed yesterday by the senate uh before you know there's ever confirmation and she was asked by one of the senators if tiktok was banned would you stand by and follow the law and force people into you know making sure that people aren't somehow getting tiktok or you know there's not platforms like vpn is the easy way around it obviously they have no control over that we have no you know no control but there's there is a case where like apple or uh any of your android companies could say you know what we're not going to ban TikTok. We're not going to do it. And she actually made it seem like she would not enforce the law. She kind of said, well, you know, it's right now in a state of litigation. I'm not going to comment on that. So she wouldn't come right out and say that. I think that he's going to do something. But who knows? Yeah. asap rocky's lawyer said he is not interested in cutting a deal with the prosecution less than a week before rocky goes to trial for the alleged shooting of a former bandmate in front of his Rocky was not present in court yesterday, but he has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of assault with a semi-automatic firearm. Lawyers on both sides got together yesterday to potentially come to some sort of agreement on a plea deal. But his defense attorneys and prosecutors were unable to reach any sort of agreement. So the trial is scheduled to go ahead on the 21st, which I think is Tuesday, Wednesday, next week at some point, starting with the selection of a 12-person jury. So this is going to be a big thing. He faces up to 24 years in prison if convicted on both of those charges. And I don't understand why this was a thing, but this was a thing yesterday where the judge was trying to figure out whether Rihanna was actually, is actually ASAP Rocky's wife or simply just his significant other. And this became a big discussion. Listen to this.

I think if they're not legally married, we'd prefer that she not be referred to as his wife and that she's just referred to as a significant other or a mother of his children. Are they legally married anywhere? I don't know. If they're legally married anywhere, there's no common law marriage that's recognized. It was all just about how to refer to her during the trial.

But do we think that means that they got married in, like, another country? I have no idea. I don't know. Like, did they get married in Barbados?

But this was, like, a five-minute discussion yesterday. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah. And finally, the Food and Drug Administration banned red dye number three in food and drinks nearly 35 years after it was banned from cosmetics because of potential cancer risks. Think about that for a second. The dye is found in like everything. I mean, candy, cereal. I told the kids yesterday, I was like, everything that you eat is about to change. It may also affect children's behavior, which is no secret. Red dye number three already banned in Australia, Japan, some European countries. So here's the deal with this. Food manufacturers have to update all of their products by January 2027 to comply.

Will it change taste or just color and stuff?

I don't know. That's a good question.

Some people say it will make things less sweet. Like Froot Loops. They say the Froot Loops in other countries without the red dye doesn't taste as sweet.

Like I know that the color is not as vibrant. Like kids are really into this Katie Joyride. If you watch Ryan Trahan on YouTube, it's his candy, but he doesn't use any dye.
