Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon with an update for us on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30, Shannon.

00:00:38 - 00:01:54 | Speaker 1:

So an update on what's going on with Diddy. He's going to be going to trial now in May on all of those federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges. Yesterday he was in court. A judge set a trial date of May 5th at this hearing in New York City. That trial expected to last around a month, at least a month. And much to Diddy's dismay, he will remain behind bars until that trial happens. Prosecutors said 96 electronic devices were seized in those raids on Diddy's two residences back in March. Another four were seized when he was arrested last month, leaving investigators with an extraordinary 90 terabytes of data to go through. That's going to take some time. So here's the thing. The indictment could be updated once they go through all of that to add even more charges or even more defendants. Floridians are picking up the pieces after Milton made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane this week and an awful update. More than a dozen people have died and the state is anticipating more casualties as they continue to go through the wreckage. More than 2.6 million people still without power this morning due to Milton. This is Governor Ron DeSantis.

00:01:54 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 3:

There may be opportunities that some people think they can take advantage of. I'm warning you, don't do that. If you loot, you will be held accountable. If you're doing things that violate the law, if you're going to try to take advantage of vulnerable people, we're going to throw the book at you. I mean, we even had some jackass chain a dog to a pole as the storm was coming. Florida Highway Patrol rescued the dog. It's now in Tallahassee. Honestly, it's a good dog, but I mean, it's traumatized from that.

00:02:25 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 1:

Saw yesterday, Mojo, that your boy Tom Brady is donating $100,000 to the victims of Hurricane Milton. He revealed that GoPuff, which is a goods and food delivery company, will match his donation. All of the benefits are going to go to the Volunteer Florida Foundation.

00:02:41 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 4:

There we go. Actually, Jed sent me something yesterday, and Joe talked about it. But there's a lot of these organizations where the money is not helping. Yes. The organization that the Joe Show is connected with is feedingtampabay.org. If you are looking to make any donations, the big national ones, the guys.

00:03:01 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, I don't want to say names or disparage anybody, but be really careful about who you're giving your money to.

00:03:07 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's not. The problem is that a lot of that money doesn't even help, in some cases, hurricane relief. It will help them with other projects that they have throughout the years. So if you want to truly help those that are affected by this, look for the organizations that help specifically people in North Carolina and Florida that are dealing with this.

00:03:27 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Sabrina Carpenter admitting that her summer smashed espresso just might be a bit overplayed. Just a little bit. She knows. She's aware. She was honored at the Time 100 Next Gala in New York last night. She performed a couple of songs, including Please, Please, Please. But before doing this song, she told the crowd, if you're sick of it, I truly am very sorry. If not, sing along. And everybody, of course, got up and got out of their seats. By the way, that evening featured tributes to the Time 100 Next list, which included NBA star Jalen Brown, Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlin, and Victoria Monet, also on the list.

00:04:05 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 4:

By the way, we're more sick of Miguel. No, we're not. Yes, we are. No, yes, we are. I like Miguel.
