All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending this morning in the Dirty on 30. What's up, Shan?

I had some sad news yesterday. Eric Dane, aka McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy and Cal on Euphoria, has been diagnosed with ALS, shared that diagnosis with People Magazine, and then I saw it everywhere yesterday afternoon.

Is that Lou Gehrig's disease?

Yeah. Yeah. Wow. He said that his health has not impacted his plans to return for Euphoria Season 3, if you're a fan of that. So I know filming started back in January, but he will be on the set in the coming days alongside Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney. Wow. Yeah.

And that is, and that's, there's no cure for ALS.

No, and it's very progressive.

Jelly Roll joined Pat McAfee on stage for one of his live shows this week where he, as in Jelly Roll, announced he has lost almost 200 pounds at this point, you guys. Wow.

Do you mind giving an update on where you started and where you are now? I started at 540 pounds. I'm 357 pounds this morning. That's amazing.

I'm going to lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby. I love it. Huge congrats to him.

That Pat McAfee thing was unbelievable, too. You see how many people showed out for that? He's got, you know, he's a media giant right now. Yeah, he's big time. Saw Snoop Wiz Khalifa out there. It was pretty crazy. Like, he can pull people. Like, there's something that Pat McAfee has that turns to gold.

Val Kilmer's cause of death has been confirmed. The Top Gun actor, who passed away on April 1st at the age of 65, died of pneumonia. Additionally, malnutrition and a complication of his throat cancer treatment and tracheostomy contributed to his passing. Squamous cell carcinoma, which he had at the base of his tongue, that's actually the skin cancer that I had twice, was also listed as an underlying cause in his death as well. And the nation's top health agency will determine and disclose the cause of autism. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that effort should be completed by September. It's going to involve hundreds of scientists. He made that announcement with President Donald Trump during a televised cabinet meeting yesterday.

The autism rates have gone from now most recent numbers we think are going to be about 1 in 31. From 1 in 12. So they're going up again from 1 in 10,000 when I was a kid. and we are going at your direction. We are going to know by September. We've launched a massive testing and research effort that's going to involve hundreds of scientists from around the world. By September, we will know what has caused the autism epidemic and we'll be able to eliminate those exposures.

Wow. I wonder if it's just more that people are talking about it and why the numbers seem like they've gone up or what it is.
