The dream of the 90s is alive in podcast form.

00:00:51 - 00:01:03 | Speaker 2:

We're launching Podlandia AO Rewatch, our brand new podcast where we revisit every episode of Portlandia together. Breaking down sketches, going deep on our iconic characters, and pulling back the curtain on how it all got made.

00:01:03 - 00:01:15 | Speaker 4:

And we'll also be joined by the people who helped bring it all to life. Guest stars, collaborators, and friends, including director Jonathan Kreisel, the mayor himself, Kyle McLaughlin, legendary musician Amy Mann, and many more.

00:01:15 - 00:01:20 | Speaker 2:

Kyle is going for it here. You fully improvised not just words, but a song.

00:01:20 - 00:01:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, I thought you were all going to write a song.

00:01:22 - 00:01:31 | Speaker 2:

I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia, A-O, Rewatch on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:01:32 - 00:01:54 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of people on In Town Friday. So T.I. at the Fillmore, Lil Wayne at, I think, Pine Knob, and Morgan Wallen at the Big House. It's going to be huge. I got to figure out what I'm wearing. Will I look bad if I wear the same outfit that I wore to... to get Yacht Rock.

00:01:54 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 1:

Do it. That is not a Morgan Wallen concert outfit. No cowboy hat on. No white jeans. No.

00:02:01 - 00:02:06 | Speaker 3:

I actually kind of think I'm a white jeans kind of guy now. I don't know what it is.

00:02:06 - 00:02:08 | Speaker 5:

You and Shannon both look good in the white jeans.

00:02:08 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 3:

I was feeling it, by the way, on Friday. I was feeling like, wow, this is actually kind of nice. And the whole night, I kept every fart in, thinking that if I farted, I sharted.

00:02:19 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 1:

You never know. Especially right now.

00:02:21 - 00:02:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, cyclosporosis.

00:02:23 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 1:

You never know.

00:02:25 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 3:

Good news for us. Text MORGAN to 95500 for your chance to win a pair of Morgan Wallen tickets. That is MORGAN, M-O-R-G-A-N to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply.

00:02:38 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30.

00:02:41 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm a little late with the Dirty on the 30 for our first one of the week. Usually I'm so much better at this, so I apologize to the listener. I apologize to you, Shannon. I know this is your thing. What do you got in this hour is dirty?

00:02:52 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 1:

Well, starting off with Vice President J.D. Vance and second lady Usha Vance welcomed their fourth child over the weekend and actually made some history in the process. The couple announced yesterday the birth of their brand new baby boy. His name is Alec Neal Vance. Both mom and baby are happy and healthy. And here's where history was made. Alec is the first child born to a sitting U.S. vice president in more than 150 years.

00:03:19 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 3:

I think it's the first child born to the president, too, since the Kennedy birth of John F. Kennedy. Oh, really? Yeah.

00:03:29 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, the last VP baby was Skylar Colfax III, whose dad was serving as VP when he arrived in 1870. Holy cow. That's crazy.

00:03:38 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that nuts? Which is wild to think, you know, that we haven't elected a president in, like, forever that was of...

00:03:46 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Young enough to have a baby. yeah family you know birthing yeah yeah we touched on this briefly at the start of the show on stage at friday's uh fanatics fest tom brady smacked logan paul in the head was it real or was it staged in the video if you google it and watch it tom's face to face with logan on stage in front of like a ton of people big crowd of people they start to have a heated argument and eventually tom slaps logan who then says something back i think he swears back at Tom. Later in the evening, Logan posted, quote, this happened because I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football and he tries to smack me. Horrible example for the kids. In a follow up post, Tom Brady said, I tried America. We'll try again the next time I see this nerd. Jelly Roll and Bunny XO have officially settled their divorce. They actually reached a deal a couple of weeks ago. Of course, all of the details are confidential. I do know some of the Items they're splitting include a private debt, cars, homes, their intellectual properties. Jelly will also pay Bunny a one-time lump sum. There won't be any sort of alimony claims to fight over in court. That amount also confidential.

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 4:

by the way their agreement this is interesting to me also includes a provision prohibiting each other from trash talking the other oh really yeah so i don't i don't think we're gonna hear any dirty details about this things about him and unless it comes from like a third party

00:05:17 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

yeah i go with the uh theory that we had why are these guys divorcing yet they seem like they're still so good with each other and it's the legal issues that he's into and it's kind of a financial separation so that he doesn't lose all his net worth. I don't know. I kind of... I would buy that. I believe that. They tell us, like, how much each of them got. Like, if they just split it equally and she didn't get that, you know. I don't know. It just seems weird that they're still so good. There's a hair in the butter.

00:05:49 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And lastly, Noah Kahn's concert at Citi Field in New York canceled just before doors were supposed to open Saturday night leaving fans super upset the final call made after the stadium's team spent the afternoon monitoring the weather in the new york city area did you guys see what happened there with those torrential torrential storms i mean it was really really bad flash floods soho was like underwater basically it was crazy so they tried as hard as they could they canceled the opener adjusted the set time for noah like he really wanted to take the stage and eventually they just had to cancel the whole thing he felt terrible this is a message i don't expect any

00:06:28 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 5:

sympathy at all i'm so sorry for the folks that sit all day out in the rain and traveled i've been thinking about you guys this was i'm really sorry i promise if you've known me i've been torn for about nine years i've probably played about 500 shows and i've canceled six in my life and they've only ever been when we cannot do anything else but cancel the show and i promise you i would Played in a volcano. A hole of a volcano for y'all. And I'm so sorry.

00:06:54 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 3:

That's why you're so popular.

00:06:55 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 5:

I don't have sympathy at all. I have sympathy for the folks that missed out. Just a nice guy. Played in a volcano.

00:07:01 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

Just a nice guy. His music actually is kind of getting on me. Like, I'm starting to see it more on people's Instagram posts. I saw that our...

00:07:09 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 4:

So many people went to his show at Wrigley last week.

00:07:12 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, I saw, and this is sad, a shout out to Kaylin from The Fred Show. Caitlin used to work with us. They lost their family, Pat. And she used a Noah Kahn song in there. And when I heard it, I was like, oh, that's a beautiful song. It's such a beautiful, fitting song.

00:07:27 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. Hey, if you miss anything from today, you can always go back, re-listen on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
