Well, some big congratulations are in order for Detroit Lions quarterback, Jared Goff, and his beautiful wife, Kristen, yesterday. They announced the arrival of their first baby, a little girl they named Romy Isabel via some beautiful photos on Instagram. I am obsessed with her name. So, so sweet. Congrats, man.

00:02:16 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 5:

What an absolute beautiful family. The picture that they posted, too, was spectacular. Mom holding baby, dad looking at baby like this is the greatest thing ever. Yeah, love that. I'll tell you what, that baby hopefully looks like mom.

00:02:29 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 6:

Ah, you're crazy. What do you think he wants to hold more, the baby or a Lombardi trophy? You know what, I bet you. I'm going to say baby. Yeah, we'll say baby.

00:02:37 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to say baby. Closely follow.

00:02:39 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 5:

What do you want him holding more? The baby. We'll say that.

00:02:45 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 4:

Last week it was Jay-Z. This week, Nicki Minaj seems to be picking a bone with SZA on X. Nikki tweeted, go draw your freckles back on, bookie. Another tweet says, liar, liar, pants on fire. You sound like an effing dead dog. She was responding to a tweet that SZA had made, which said, mercury retrograde. Oh, my goodness. Mercury retrograde. Don't take the bait, silly goose. And SZA responded to Nikki saying, I don't give an F about none of this weird spit you popping. And I think this all started over Nikki calling out Rock Nation's CEO, Desiree Perez, for being allegedly abusive. This has been a story for a little bit of time, and it kind of spiraled from there. SZA obviously affiliated with Rock Nation. Wasn't she one of the founding people of Rock Nation?

00:03:39 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 6:

SZA? No, no, no. And a lot of it— Are you sure? Yeah, no. SZA wasn't popular like that around that time. Nicki Minaj was. She was a part of that. That's where the Jay-Z time comes in. I thought Roc Nation was founded by SZA Cassie. A big part of it, though, SZA's manager, and I can't think of his name right now, has been getting involved in, like, public spats with Nicki Minaj for quite some time. And she's also calling him out right now. And I think that's where kind of SZA popped in a little bit, too.

00:04:08 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

She just, like, keeps going at people. I feel like kind of randomly, but okay. Clearing up something we talked about in The Dirty yesterday. Right now, yeah. Sydney Sweeney not currently in talks to play the next Bond girl, despite all of the online speculation. Allegedly, that casting conversation got put out there by hopeful fans. It's wishful thinking at this point. Nobody has actually thrown her name into the mix. She is not auditioning for that role. Nobody has been cast yet to take the 007 role from Daniel Craig at this point. So they're definitely, they need to do that before they start thinking about the Bond girl. I think people are still trying to figure out why she was at the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez. And we told you yesterday, it has to do with this lingerie line that she is about to drop and he is her like biggest.

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 2:

investor. He's the guy behind that. Ariana Grande and Josh Gad, you probably know him best as the voice of Olaf in the Frozen movies. They are going to star in or they're going to lead the voice cast for the upcoming animated version of the Dr. Seuss book, Oh, The Places You'll Go. Did you guys ever read that one?

00:05:17 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah.

00:05:19 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

The musical film set for theatrical release in IMAX theaters in 2028. Eight! But it's already started production, yeah. And lastly, a Michigan lawmaker is pushing for students to learn to read and write cursive again it was dropped from the common core curriculum back in 2010 we learned it in second grade i think did you guys learn oh yeah i learned it

00:05:42 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 6:

later than that why wait why is it that uh they stopped it just because we because it's pointless

00:05:47 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

when do we use because because students mostly work on computers now like i know when lucy does papers she will write them out but then really she the final version is done on the computer but But this representative from Pontiac, Brenda Carter, introduced a House bill which would require the Michigan Department of Education to develop a list of cursive inclusive programs by June of 2027. And really, she said a lot of kids today, the majority of kids are not being taught how to read or write in cursive. And she said that is a foundational skill that not only enables them to sign their own name on official documents as they grow older, but it also gives them access to be able to read historic documents, including many of our nation's founding texts. So she just said it is something important that we should probably at least give the option for schools to include.

00:06:40 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 6:

That actually is kind of interesting, though. Like if you're reading a document like the Declaration.

00:06:45 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 5:

When the last time you read the Declaration? an independent. I haven't, but I'm just saying. Nobody has. This ain't national treasure?

00:06:51 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 6:

When you're signing stuff, are you signing it with a print or are you signing it actually as a signature? I mean, I scribble.

00:06:58 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 5:

I use Adobe. You use the auto pen. Do I need a whole class to learn how to sign my name? Like, no. That's an after school program. Teach my kid about

00:07:09 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 2:

taxes. Catch up on everything you missed in the Dirty this week by checking out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

00:07:16 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 4:

Celebrity Dirt. All right, we're giving you a chance to win right now.

00:07:28 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 6:

Deanne, you're a winner. Congratulations. Yeah.

00:07:32 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. I'm so excited. I cannot believe this.

00:07:36 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 6:

Deanne, a brand new car, a 2025 loaded Chevy Trax or $20,000.

00:07:43 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. This is amazing. This is amazing.

00:07:47 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 6:

Gordon Chevrolet, a week from tomorrow, we'll do the grand finale of this thing, playing a throwback throwdown.

00:07:54 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's amazing.

00:07:56 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 6:

If we were playing throwback throwdown, who would you have play for you to win this car? Would you pick Shannon? Would you pick Kev? Would you pick Mike? Maybe our boss?

00:08:05 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 5:

I would pick Shannon. Whoa! All right. Yeah. She's surprised even me. Why? Why would you go Shannon? Because she's amazing. She knows all the songs. Can't argue with the first half of that.

00:08:20 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 6:

Kevin gets very, very temperamental when it comes to this. You know how bad he is when he loses a round of Throwback Throwdown? Imagine when he loses it for a car. I can't go through that again.

00:08:32 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 5:

I know.

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 6:

Hey, we got a $50 gas card to Kroger, courtesy of Green Flame Tequila, for you. Hang on the phone, okay?

00:08:39 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 5:

Okay, great. Thank you so much.
