Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30.

00:01:35 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 7:

All right, Shannon with West Trending in the Dirty on the 30. Good morning, Shannon.

00:01:38 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, you just mentioned it. Good morning. Kim Kardashian taking the stand in Paris to testify in the trial over her 2016 robbery. Nine years later, this is finally happening. She told the court that she absolutely thought she was going to die that night. And I thought this was interesting. One of the guys, one of the defendants, wrote a statement following his arrest in 2017. And that statement was read aloud. And in it, the 69-year-old, to your point, Mojo, most of these guys were in their late 60s, early 70s. He apologized to Kim. He said he felt awful about what he did, especially after witnessing Kim's very emotional response on TV in the wake of the ordeal, where she said she thought she was going to die. And he was like, that was that really was not her intention. When the letter was being read in court, Kim began to cry. She actually turned to this man face to face yesterday and said, I do appreciate the letter. I forgive you for what has taken place, but it doesn't change the emotion and the feelings and the trauma. the way that my life is forever changed because of this. Yeah.

00:02:50 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 7:

It's interesting. You know, he's trying to play it, right? Obviously to gain sympathy. For sure. But when you hear Kim describing it, and we played this clip for a back in the day, but.

00:03:01 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 1:

Two guys holding another guy down in police uniforms, but right outside of my bedroom, five feet away. So I slid off my bed and picked up my phone and I'm like, I don't know how to call 911 in a different country. And so I like called Pascal. And then the guy came and grabbed the phone for me, threw me on the bed. And I remember she was in a bathrobe. And I was like, this is it.

00:03:22 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 3:

She was bound, gagged, thrown in the bathroom.

00:03:25 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 7:

They obviously, it was an inside job, right? They knew it was her. They knew that she was checking in. They knew what kind of jewelry she was wearing. She had a ton of jewelry on her. Yeah. I don't understand why these guys travel with all that stuff.

00:03:37 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 3:

Because they're celebrities. They have to wear it on the red carpet. It's borrowed. It's, you know. I mean, in her case, she had that 20 carat ring from Kanye that she was wearing all the time. But Travis Kelsey hit the Amazon up front's red carpet yesterday wearing something that has Swifties thinking that there just might be a wedding coming. He was wearing a gray suit, this white T-shirt that featured a large wedding cake print. And so as soon as people saw that, they're like, wait, is there going to be some news from him and Taylor soon? I don't know. Actress Halle Bailey has taken legal action against her ex, a musician who goes by the name DDG. From Michigan. The Little Mermaid star granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order. They share a son, by the way, Halo, who's just 17 months years old. Or 17 months years old. Who's just 17 months.

00:04:27 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:04:29 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 3:

But she described some of the allegations, said they had a fight back in January, during which DDG slammed her face against the steering wheel of their car, leaving her with bruises all over her arms and a chipped tooth. She also described multiple other alleged altercations, including some threatening texts he sent her, an incident where he locked her out of her home, one where he stole her phone and threw it out the car window. She stated in her filing, quote, I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I can. not keep living like this and environmental protection agency administrator lee zeldin hinted that he is preparing to roll back the one car feature that every driver supposedly hates and it's that start stop technology where your car goes off at every red light so companies get like a climate participation trophy he said the epa approved it everybody hates it so they are fiction they are fixing it i don't know when this is gonna take effect but it's happening it's not

00:05:35 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 6:

gonna that's not gonna be the case anymore i text with a buddy who's an engineer for one of the big three he wouldn't tell me if it was okay to say which company he works for and he said that it saves absolutely no fuel at all to have that thing doesn't it wear down the car battery even though they say that it saves between five four and five percent he says it's bs it doesn't save any fuel all it does is irritate the crap out of you and he said that they did like a survey at their car company this is again one of the big three and they found it's the number one thing people hate in their car and it's also the number one thing that people do the bypass button on like people will buy do you hit that button at all in your car so that you don't have to deal with it I don't

00:06:19 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 5:

I never hit the button I just get annoyed when like you know sometimes you pull up to the red light and it immediately turns green but your car's already shut off so it takes like the extra three seconds to get in it's like please don't let the person behind me hit me

00:06:31 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 6:

yeah that thing annoys me and then also it does annoy me that our shower heads pump out like they dribble water here you go your damn water pressure and I know people are gonna be like Mao Zhao is a Trumper for saying this stuff. No, I'm a guy that likes to get wet, and I'm fat.

00:06:51 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 5:

I'm a guy that likes to get wet.

00:06:53 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 6:

I want to get wet in my shower. This has nothing to do with anything other than that. Clean me, Zach. I'm telling you, you can say whatever you want to say about me, but don't tell me that I'm doing it only because Donald Trump. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That's fake news, and you know it.
