00:00:36 - 00:01:19 | Speaker 2:

well a judge has declared a mistrial on the final rape charge against disgraced movie producer harvey weinstein this follows the jury's deadlock on a 2013 rape allegation by an actress named jessica mann after the foreperson of this jury refused to continue citing intimidation during some very retense deliberations from what I understand. This also comes a day after Weinstein was convicted of a separate sexual assault charge from 2006 and acquitted on another related charge. So a lot of stuff happened in there. We're all focused on ditty right now, but remember that trial is happening as well. Prosecutors say they plan to retry that unresolved rape charge. I wonder what

00:01:19 - 00:01:35 | Speaker 3:

that intimidation was. We talked about this yesterday, Shannon, when we were filling in for and the dirty. Yeah. It just seems very interesting and that's the foreman. Yes. The foreman of the trial. What does that mean? Well, the foreman's the person that leads the charge, basically. He tries to get everybody together on something.

00:01:35 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 2:

Like the leader of the jury. Yeah, for sure.

00:01:37 - 00:01:53 | Speaker 3:

And they are pre... I think they're voted on and selected. And that's how it happens. So these people obviously voted for them to be the foreman and then that happens. I wonder if that foreman's going to come out and talk and say that there was people trying to sway and I wonder if that was a non-guilty vote.

00:01:53 - 00:02:01 | Speaker 4:

Because we talked a little bit about, just going back to the Diddy thing, about the judge telling Diddy not to look at the jurors as a form of intimidation.

00:02:01 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I wonder, kind of, was it the same kind of thing? Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. Do you guys talk about Trace Cyrus, Miley Cyrus' brother, and what's happening there? Okay, so he went public on Instagram this week, I think it was Wednesday night, and made some pretty explosive claims about his ex-actress, Brenda Song, who is now married to Macaulay Culkin. Okay. So he accused her of some crazy stuff, faking multiple pregnancies, staging an abortion with fake blood, pretending to have breast cancer and even a brain tumor and allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from him. And if somebody can tell me why all of a sudden he's coming out to talk about this and her specifically after all these years, I'd love to know because to me it was kind of random. But for context, Trace and Brenda dated on and off from 2010 to 2017. I think they got engaged very briefly at some point in there. Again, they're long broken up. She's now married to Macaulay Culkin. They have two little boys together. But Trace was sharing some pretty vivid memories, talking about rushing Brenda to get checked when he thought she was miscarrying, pulling off a bandage after she supposedly had surgery, only to discover there was no wound there. She never had surgery. She lied about that. He called the situation effed in the head, but also said he hopes she's doing better mentally. Wow. Why? I don't know. Why talk about that? Sweet life. And I'll end the dirty with a Florida man story. A 70-year-old man from Lady Lake, Florida, home of the famous Villages, where everybody's having sex with everybody else, peed on more than $10,000 worth of spam and Vienna sausages at his local Sam's Club. Oh, no. Surveillance footage and a witness photo caught a guy by the name of Patrick Mitchell peeing on two full pallets in aisle 18. So store employees had to go and toss nearly 200 units of Vienna sausages and 300 packs of Spam because there was pee all over them. That's crazy. After the incident, this guy reportedly lounged in the snack aisle and on some patio furniture and then casually checked out, got his receipt checked and left. Well, thanks to his Sam's Club membership info and a photo match, police tracked him down at his home in the villages. He is now being charged with felony, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct. That's nasty as hell.

00:04:20 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. He obviously had to open up the packages and do that. So thank God that they noticed that.

00:04:25 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:04:25 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, he didn't even open them. He just went over to where they were. But, like, on all the pallets of this guy.

00:04:31 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 4:

You think they threw it away or they just kind of washed it off? No, no. They had to get rid of it. You think so?

00:04:35 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 3:

How would you know? Well, I'm sure that...

00:04:38 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 4:

They had to throw them all out? Yeah.

00:04:39 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm sure that they had to. Probably as part of the investigation. You think they just wiped them down and put them back out?

00:04:43 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 4:

That's what I'm saying. You can just spray it down.

00:04:45 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Or somebody from Sam's Club took him home and said, I'll use them.

00:04:48 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 2:

Or if you got samples of Vienna sausages the next day, you know where they came from.

00:04:53 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I'm going to tell you this right now. I'd take them home because I bet you that's the cellophane-y things that they put on top of the thing.

00:05:00 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying.

We've all seen the headlines. Florida man wrestles alligator in a tuxedo, or Florida man sues after finding toenails in his ice cream.

00:05:55 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

It's easy to laugh at the meme, but have you ever wondered about the human behind the headline?

00:06:00 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I'm Frankie P.

00:06:01 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 2:

And I'm Amelia. On our podcast, Hidden Florida and Beyond, we're going beneath the surface of the Sunshine State.

00:06:06 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 3:

From interviews with real people who make Florida weird. I'm pulling it up, and as I'm pulling it up, I see an arm. Stop it. Come down.
