This is Julian Edelman from Games with Names. You know how it is during big games. There's so much prep, detail, and the little things people don't see. The small stuff around you matters more than you think. That's why I keep my food dialed in with Domino's. Best deal ever. Any pizza, any toppings for $9.99. Now including Parmesan stuffed crust, pepperoni, sausage, jalapenos, and even bacon. That reliable vet that plays well with anyone. Personally, I like to keep it simple. The good old pepperoni pizza.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:01:53 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 7:

All right, Shannon, with what is trending in the Dirty on the 30.

00:01:56 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 9:

So yesterday, NFL analyst Ryan Clark was addressing his firing from ESPN on social media. Remember, he learned he was laid off during his actual shift on Monday's NFL Live. He wrote, proof of life. Before the madness of yesterday, I woke up, got in my tundra, drove to Planet Fitness, and got to work. The rest of the day was eventful, but the journey continues. My peace is with God and my humility comes from within. I will continue to build myself so the world can never strip me of what's real. Get moving today, y'all.

00:02:30 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 7:

The Planet Fitness people had to love that because it was like such a great social post for them.

00:02:36 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, but I love that the world can never strip me of what's real. Stephen A. Smith, by the way, commenting on the firing of his First Take colleague.

00:02:44 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 2:

A person that I consider to be arguably the best NFL analyst in America. And I can't even tell y'all how much that hurts. there's nobody that's going to be let go that was more of a friend and a brother to me than ryan clark it's a real shame some of the narratives they'll try to create doesn't bother me when people disagree with me because that stirs the cup and that's what makes all of us better it only bothers me when they get ill-informed and they get personal and ryan clark is somebody that was a man amongst boys when it came to stuff like that there's nothing that he'd say on social media on television that he wouldn't tell you to your face he's not somebody that i just loved working with he's somebody that i love period that i will always be here for so uh they're

00:03:26 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 7:

saying that there's two factions at espn and this and by the way carl ravich got let go yesterday which i was really sad to see that 30 years at the network he was honestly one of the better uh both sports center hosts but also he did uh baseball including the little league world series all every year but they said there's two factions at espn there's two big guys that get paid there it's steven and pat mcafee and they say they pay those guys so much money because truly and honestly i'm a fan of espn and i think that this is true i don't watch anything else but steven a and pat

00:04:03 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 9:

mcafee i rarely watch other stuff of pat mcafee talking about this yesterday because i think he had jj later or uh it doesn't matter if you want to play it now that's fine i'll play it later too But he was talking to J.J. Watt yesterday, and that came up, actually.

00:04:18 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

Did they buy NFL Network this year? Who? They did. Didn't they? That's crazy. Did they keep anybody, or is everybody fired to pay you? I'm trying to figure it out. That's not funny. I'm trying to figure it out. That's not funny. We do not like that. We do not appreciate that. That is the narrative, and I'm certainly taking it on the shins. The boys and I are very proud of the work that we have done. Thanks a lot, Moana. Good God. I mean, come on. All right, okay, okay. She's playing a hit for Doomsday or whatever. Okay, all right. We're not getting into any of that. My YouTube TV didn't work for a while, too. Don't forget that. That's quite the dispute. Please, now. Goodness. It was a long time. It was a lot of money. But on that note, we hate any time this happens. Obviously, this is terrible.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 4:

We don't like that, but we are very honored that we are still partnering with ESPN and Disney for the good of sport for the future.

00:05:06 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

We'll talk about this later, too. Pixar, Disney Pixar, let a lot of people go yesterday.

00:05:10 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 4:

They just had the biggest Toy Story ever.

00:05:14 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:05:14 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that the whole thing? I know. Wow. All right.

00:05:17 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 1:

This morning, Kaylee Hoddle, she is a deaf actress best known for playing Gia opposite Millie Bobby Brown in Godzilla has died. She was just 18 years old. This is such a tragic story. I saw this yesterday. She was killed in a car accident yesterday morning in Maryland. The other driver, a 19-year-old kid, hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. He was speeding, hit her car, and she died. I know. Harry Styles canceling his show in Sao Paulo, Brazil last night due to a mysterious health issue. And this is just a month after he collapsed on stage in England, remember. So fans were getting kind of worried. Live Nation tweeted that news just a few hours before the show was set to start. A rut for Harry telling me this morning that his show on Friday is scheduled as planned. That one's also happening in Brazil.

00:06:06 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 4:

When's Madison Square Garden? That seems like that's been forever.

00:06:09 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 1:

I want to say that's the end of August is when that starts. And CVS's newest change to its pharmacy is pretty awesome. If you're a pet owner like me, the company announcing yesterday that it is now going to be filling prescriptions for pets. at its pharmacies across the country. Smart. Yeah, CVS said that its pharmacies can fill prescriptions for a whole bunch of pet-only medications like antibiotics, allergy, flea and tick control, and insulin. And the prices of pet meds at CVS are going to be very comparable to what we're all paying at our vet's office right now. So pick up everything. Makes it easier. It's so expensive.

00:06:46 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 4:

By the way, CVS is driving me crazy. They call me every freaking day to tell me that I got to pick up a prescription that I don't need.

00:06:53 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 1:

So you can turn that off. I had to turn it off. And then you just go into the app to check the status.

00:06:58 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:06:58 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 1:

Do that, yeah. Miss anything from today, go back, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app. Five to six, fifty, five.
