00:01:23 - 00:02:23 | Speaker 1:

this hour shannon well taylor swift has supposedly completely severed ties with her now former friend blake lively this all stems i mean we've been hearing about this for such a long time from blake's legal battle with justin baldoni over the it ends with us movie during which taylor was briefly subpoenaed as a witness and although that subpoena was later withdrawn taylor just felt really betrayed and exploited by being dragged into this case that everybody was talking about. And despite Blake's attempts to reconcile the situation and save the friendship, and she did that by sending text messages and leaving voicemails and sending emails, any which way she could get a hold of Taylor, Taylor has, from what I'm hearing, ignored all of it. I mean, she's basically ghosting Blake Lively at this point because she's so upset over what happened. They've been friends for 10 years, I mean, a really long time. Trial is still set to kick off in May of next year with both parties denying the allegations against them.

00:02:23 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 5:

And then yesterday you actually mentioned the whole not doing the lawsuit type thing.

00:02:29 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, Blake dropped a piece of the lawsuit, which was the claim of intentional emotional infliction of or infliction of emotional distress or something. So, yeah, that part of it is no longer.

00:02:43 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 5:

Which the other part of the lawsuit is what, the fact that it was like an abusive relationship?

00:02:48 - 00:02:54 | Speaker 1:

Like an intimidating work environment. She said that there was some, I don't know the exact charge.

00:02:54 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 5:

I wonder what this does for the case. And, you know, if his attorneys will look at, she's losing friends over a situation right now. Because obviously the friendship is lost based on this.

00:03:08 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, and this could be Justin Baldoni's PR team doing a really good job of showing that Blake kind of twisted and exaggerated the truth to put this lawsuit together. But again, I feel like Blake Lively would not be this public and make this big of a deal about something that happened if something really didn't happen. So I'm still waiting for those receipts. I haven't seen anything yet. Kendall Jenner and NBA star Devin Booker have reportedly called it quits yet again. They reunited earlier this year. They've decided to part ways again because their careers, I mean, they're busy, busy people. Their schedules are conflicting. Sources tell me they still love each other a ton. The timing just isn't right. She's focusing on her career. He's channeling his energy into the upcoming NBA season. Do you guys remember Addison Rae? I mean, she was all over TikTok when it first started. She's actually a singer now. She's got a few songs out there. But she joined the New York Times Popcast yesterday. And I thought this was interesting because she was telling this story about when she was first on TikTok. Record labels used to pay her to do her dances to certain songs. She made basically like zero dollars doing this.

00:04:23 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 4:

Even big songs that I loved. Actually, really funny. Sex, Money, Feelings, Die. That song by Leaky Lee. It's one of my favorite songs of all time. but um i remember actually like a label being like oh we're you know having people post to this song and it was like right when the app was really starting to be anything it still wasn't even that big because i remember a lot of people that i was in school with weren't on it yet even like the college you know peers they weren't really on it yet and it was kind of still new but i remember like that i was like oh this is like really interesting that there's the music industry

00:04:56 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

is actually really leaning on people to post they were saying make a video here's a few hundred Bye.

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

Right, 100 bucks, I wish. It was probably like 20 bucks. 20 bucks a video that time? I actually remember being like, holy f***, 20 bucks. 20 bucks, they'd send it right to her PayPal, and she'd do the dance.

00:05:11 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Playing on the broke. $20.

00:05:14 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Disneyland's upcoming attraction, Walt Disney, A Magical Life, set to debut next month for Disney's 70th anniversary. Well, that attraction is sparking a whole lot of controversy within the Disney family. From how I understand it, the show features an animatronic of Walt Disney himself, and it's designed to recreate his presence using old recordings of his voice and advanced robotics. I mean, you guys have been to Disney, so you've seen some of the animatronic stuff. Well, Walt Disney's granddaughter, Joanna Miller, is now publicly criticizing this project. She's describing it as dehumanizing, and she said her grandpa would not have been cool with this whatsoever. She also says it doesn't even look like him whatsoever. Despite her objections, Disney officials are moving forward. So if you head to Disney anytime starting next month, you are going to see this.

00:06:06 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 5:

Interesting. Wow, I wonder if there's ever been opposition from the family over stuff like that.

00:06:11 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 1:

This is a big one. Yeah.

00:06:12 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Walt's granddaughter, you're rich because you're grandpa.

00:06:17 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 1:

And you're also rich because your grandpa started the whole animatronic thing. That's why I kind of don't believe her argument that he would have opposed it. That was what he was all about.

00:06:27 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And by the way, some of the creepiest stuff ever. I still think, and I haven't been to Disney in a long time, but I still think that going through some of those rides, like the Peter Pan ride, is honestly something that should give kids nightmares. The craziness of that.

00:06:40 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 6:

Man, I was at my grandmother's house looking through photo albums, and she had a picture from like 1930-something. Josiah was there. He was like, Walt Disney was still alive. You should have saw her face.

00:06:53 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 5:

She cut her off. Grandma was so quick. Grandma, do you know George Washington?
