Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:01:35 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 4:

We'll see what's trending this morning with Shannon and the Dirty on the 30.

00:01:38 - 00:01:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, director Tyler Perry has been hit with a lawsuit accusing him of sexually harassing and assaulting an actor on one of his BET shows. This one's The Oval, which I have not checked out.

00:01:48 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what, though? I'm going to withhold because we always so much just all of a sudden go, oh, he's a bad guy. You know what? We're going to let him fight his day in court.

00:02:00 - 00:02:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, the guy's name is Derek Dixon. He just filed a $260 million lawsuit and is accusing Tyler of using his power to coerce him into a sexual relationship in exchange to advance his career.

00:02:13 - 00:02:18 | Speaker 4:

I mean, everybody has speculated. That has been a rumor for a long time.

00:02:18 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Well, so this guy claims the advances began after he was cast in his role back in 2020. Two of the alleged assaults happened at Tyler's home in Georgia. Again, allegedly one in 2020, one in 2021. He says he refused. And after he did, he faced harassment, assault and retaliation for speaking up. Even after he reported all of this just last year before quitting the Oval. The suit includes graphic details. I can't really detail them on the air because they're just not appropriate. But he claims that he has experienced severe emotional and career fallout, including PTSD, depression, and financial losses. Tyler Perry's attorney commenting and saying this is a shakedown. And they are saying all of the accusations are false.

00:03:06 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 4:

Tyler should have Medea come out and do his interviews for him. Would that not be funny? That would be hilarious. All right. Good Morning America gets the exclusive, but it's Medea doing the interview.

00:03:17 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 3:

Justin Bieber and his former manager, Scooter Braun, are reportedly closed to a financial settlement. This is to resolve Bieber's multi-million dollar debt following their split. So if you were not aware and you haven't heard us talking about this, Bieber currently owes Scooter about $8.8 million. And this is tied to a loan that Scooter made to Justin, or I should say made after Justin canceled his 2022 Justice Tour. And he canceled it because of that health issue that he had going on with his face, if you remember. Bieber had initially claimed that Scooter was overpaid, but then some independent auditing contradicted that and his team hadn't disputed the audit's findings. So although Bieber's reps are coming out to say he's financially solid, I mean, there's been a lot of rumors online that he was broke. Insiders say this debt cleanup could be a turning point marking the end of one of pop culture's biggest money feuds. $8.8 million is what's owed. He ain't broke. Haley just sold the company for half a billy. They good. But again, they might not be good personally. And if there's a divorce on the horizon there, I mean, that could be even worse for him. He should get paid then. I didn't hear a prenup.

00:04:33 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Could you imagine? He gets child support. What's that? Off of hers.

00:04:38 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Ariana Grande's grandma, Marjorie Grande, known to fans as Nana, has died. She was 99 years old, But she's the voice that you hear on Ari's Ordinary Things right here.

00:04:48 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

And when he'd come home and I'd see him and if this gets off that train, it was like God Almighty arrived. It was like seeing daylight.

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 3:

Just to be peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family and her loved ones. Yeah, 99, that's a good one.

00:05:04 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 4:

That's a good life. I don't feel bad for 99.

00:05:07 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yeah.

00:05:09 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

That's a good life.

00:05:10 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 3:

Kraft Heinz is saying goodbye to artificial dyes. That is happening within the next two years. New products slated for U.S. release won't even contain the dyes either. That is effective immediately. But Kraft joining PepsiCo, Kellogg's in limiting or removing artificial dyes amid a big government push to do so. So, well, so here's the thing. General Mills announced last night they're doing the same thing from all of their cereals. But they said that already 90% of its products sold in the U.S. today are already free of artificial dyes. But they're going to try to make that 100.

00:05:43 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 4:

Would you want ketchup that's brown? Because that's what they say. It will be less red. And would you want to eat Jell-O that's not the color of the flavoring? Because they're saying that Jell-O colors could actually just be nothing.

00:05:55 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

See, I don't think that'll be the case. only because like some of the foods that we already buy that say that they're free of artificial dyes, they still are like colors. They're just not bright colors.

00:06:07 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 4:

I attribute this to like when one time we had Whole Foods ketchup at home and it didn't taste like ketchup. It tasted better.

00:06:14 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Smith is a ketchup connoisseur and I've even tried to buy the lower sugar Heinz ketchup.

00:06:20 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no way.

00:06:21 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 3:

He was like, I'm not eating that. I'm less worried about color, more worried about taste.

00:06:25 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 4:

I want it to taste like McDonald's ketchup. Remember how McDonald's ketchup always like the best ketchup?

00:06:30 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. And that's Heinz. That's Heinz ketchup. Now they have the little containers that look like little plastic ketchup containers and you peel them open. I want green ketchup. Green ketchup. That was gross. That was not gross. When they had that. Nah. I think mentally, I just, it tasted different to me. I was a young kid.

00:06:46 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

I was like, this is fire.

00:06:47 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 3:
