We briefly pondered this idea yesterday, this idea that now ex-astronomer CEO Andy Byron could sue Coldplay over the massive fallout from last week's Kiss Cam fiasco. Here's the thing. He'd have to get very creative and there's minimal chance that it would actually work. I chatted with an attorney friend of mine last night who said, yeah, technically.

Defamation, according to the official legal definition, is a statement, either written or verbal, that injures a third party's reputation. I remember that from my media classes in college. However, they were having an affair. So it was truth, unless he could prove he wasn't having an affair with his head of HR. But I mean, their arms were wrapped around each other. Neither of them have come out to deny it. Both of them were married. But as we learned from

that happens. Also, since footage was taken in a public venue and shown on stadium screens, there's really no clear claim of defamation or privacy violation.

So it'd be a stretch. And then somebody else said that public place too, like you can actually post pictures of public places. The problem is when you start taking pictures from the family stuff, that they have like on social media that's where potentially there could be some kind of legal

it's like fair game well because you put it out no if it but if it's like photographers get rights to pictures, human beings get rights to their pictures, too. Yeah,

I think. Because we post some people's pictures from that we get and we get in trouble for posting them and sharing them. So, I think what happens is, there's ways that the news outlets could get themselves into trouble for some of the stories. I'm shocked that social media doesn't get in trouble or AI doesn't get in trouble for the AI stuff that I see. Like, I saw an AI video of him and her going crazy with each other at the concert, where they're all over each other. And I'm like, man, that's where AI gets scary. If you're a spouse, you already know that his wife and kids have just got to be suffering right now. And to see some of that AI stuff that's out.

Yeah. We are losing one of our sports teams here in the Detroit area. Who? In a major shakeup of the UFL for the 2026 season, the Michigan Panthers are getting relocated. They're one of four teams slated for relocation, the UFL relocating its teams from Michigan, Houston, Birmingham, and Memphis to new markets in Florida, I think likely Orlando, Boise, Columbus, and Louisville, Kentucky. And that decision, here's the weird part about this, speaking only about the Michigan Panthers. Across the board, attendance dropped in pretty much every city except for Detroit. We saw growth. Actually, this past season was 44% increased in attendance over the previous season. However, it was apparently crazy expensive to maintain the franchise at Ford Field. In fact, every time they open the doors for a UFL game, it costs half a million dollars. That's a lot of money.

They just made the championship last season.

Why don't they play the games at one of the college stadiums, like play at Spartan Stadium?
